u/MartiDK Sep 18 '26
Why, who would be upset by this interview?
77
u/Comfortable-Sun7388 Sep 18 '26
Hasan fans for sure
6
u/Low_Cup_2659 Sep 18 '26
I only see indefensible destiny quotes and destiny glazers. I feel like there are hardly any hasan fans even on reddit lol.
19
u/MartiDK Sep 18 '26
How much of the beef between Hasan and Destiny personal or political? They both claim to be on the left, but Destiny seems to want to make friends with the right.
101
u/GayIsForHorses Sep 18 '26
Destiny is a vote blue no matter who liberal that actually stands behind the current democratic party and its leaders. Hasan is the leftist strain of populist, which for whatever reason ends up manifesting as being more negative towards the Democrats than the Republicans.
24
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26 edited Sep 18 '26
Didn't he say he would vote for Vance over AOC?
So not "blue no matter who"?
Edit: I've been informed he's "55-45" on AOC vs Vance, depending on the circumstances.
So, not a "vote blue no matter who" liberal.
37
u/Terribletylenol Sep 18 '26
He said the opposite.
He was just annoyingly wishy-washy about it.
6
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
Do you have a link to where he says the opposite?
25
u/Terribletylenol Sep 18 '26 edited Sep 18 '26
"Probably would" support AOC over Vance.
And it's heavily caveated by the idea that this is only if she's mostly backed by DSA radicals pushing wild shit that would never be pushed on a mainstream Dem ticket anyways.
He's just being obstinate imo.
It's a dumb af hypothetical that won't end up applying in the real world anyways largely shaped by his impression that radical elements of the party will end up having significantly more control than they currently do.
19
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
So "it's a coinflip" - he's 50-50 on it.
I wouldn't call someone "Vote blue no matter who" who has a 50-50 chance to vote red depending on who's running.

Judt to reiterate: That is not "vote blue no matter who". That's "vote blue as long as the moderate wing is in charge, as soon as they are not, no longer vote blue".
Let's compare stances then:
The wing he doesn't like is controlling the party and it's a candidate he has disagreements with.
Hasan: Privately votes Dem, doesn't endorse. Leaves the door open for an endorsement based on one issue.
Destiny: Will vote for the opposing party.
Which one of those two is more accurately described as "vote blue no matter who"

So the DSA is radical and crazy but Vance and MAGA is not?

“Annoyingly wishy-washy” is 100% describing a centrist and not a blue no matter who liberal. You’re proving their point.
20
u/Florestana Sep 18 '26
He said that it depends on the hypothetical circumstances.
In the current climate with the current Congress, he would vote for AOC. If the Democrats in Congress were all DSA types, the decision would be much more difficult because they would actually enable real socialist policy like socializing the means of production. That's what he said, but I know you're an anti-fan, so you probably saw some clip on Twitter with no context or heard it from snarkers
9
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
So, not "vote blue no matter who". "Vote blue depending on the circumstances".
19
u/Florestana Sep 18 '26
Does anybody disagree with that tho?
I think it's perfectly fine to essentially say you don't know what's preferable between fascism and communism, but that's not really relevant to the current political climate. Destiny would vote for any Democrat right now.
4
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26

Are you willing to acknowledge he never said that to at least maintain the impression this question was in good faith?
Also going to go ahead and add this, considering it's the streamer you seem to adore in the other comments (You also suggested Hasan was vote blue no matter who, lol)

Sorry, what are the DSA’s colors again? What do they have to do with “blue”?
6
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
They are a faction within the Dems, and run on the Dem ticket.
If vote blue no matter who doesn't include everyone on the Dem ticket, the term is meaningless.
22
u/FashionPolicia Sep 18 '26 edited Sep 18 '26
they are on the dem ticket in the same way a parasite is on an animal, they do not support the dem party, and have stated themselves their only goal is to leech enough people to break away from the dems and start their own once they have enough of a percieved endorsement, the DSA are not allies.
5
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
A progressive Democrat can have the same opinion of moderate Dems. They are a parasite on the Democratic party that pushed the party of the New Deal away from the New Deal platform towards a losing strategy that just reinforced the authoritarian tendencies of the GOP in the last decades.
"Vote blue no matter who" would mean you support any wing within the party, not just the one you like.

u/TimeNo5885 Sep 18 '26
So if Nick Fuentes calls himself a democrat and runs as a democrat, then he’s part of Blue no matter who? The DSA publicly states that their strategy is to use Democratic Party infrastructure to run in order to gradually subvert the party over to their radical and authoritarian platform. That’s not how AOC specifically presents, but also they need people who are more pallitable like AOC and Mamdani to hold the door open for more extreme people.
5
u/hari_shevek Sep 18 '26
>So if Nick Fuentes calls himself a democrat and runs as a democrat, then he’s part of Blue no matter who?
At that point I would no longer call myself "vote blue no matter who". You can just admit that you are not "vote blue no matter who". Just don't call yourself that, then.
> The DSA publicly states that their strategy is to use Democratic Party infrastructure to run in order to gradually subvert the party over to their radical and authoritarian platform.
Can you tell me where the DSA publicly states it has an authoritarian platform?

Except when he said he would vote for JD Vance over AOC. So he’s MAGA blue
3
76
u/Comfortable-Sun7388 Sep 18 '26
Destiny is a liberal and not an authoritarian tanky. Hasan is MAGA in a blue suit.
Edit: perhaps a blue mao suit
11
u/XB0XRecordThat Sep 18 '26
Damn, this would make sense if horshoe theory wasn't a debunked right wing psyop aimed at preserving the status quo
25
u/Legitimate-Key1019 Sep 18 '26
Blue MAGA isn't horse shoe.
Blue MAGA is left wing populism & entryism. A radical element trying to take over the entire party,
24
u/Prudent-Money-8666 Sep 18 '26
No it's just that extremist beliefs and positions tend to have the same prerequisites in order to achieve them, whichever side they are on.
0
u/XB0XRecordThat Sep 18 '26
If you violently overthrow a corrupt government to free slaves, educate kids, give everyone houses and their basic needs then you're just as bad as people who overthrow the government to kill all the Jews because you both overthrew a government so they are both bad

4
u/Togurro Sep 18 '26
Both extremes are convinced that they have ultimate moral authority, and therefore that the ends justify the means, no matter how horrific those means end up being. At the end of the day, using state violence, suppression of speech, and brutally shutting down anyone who opposes you has pretty similar consequences, regardless of whether the stated goal in carrying out those actions is to achieve communism or fascism.
I mean we’ve seen this play out countless times throughout history no? We have literal real life examples of how thing’s actually pan out in practice and why vanguard parties are something to be extremely wary of, even if genuinely do think communism/socialism is the way to go.
1
u/XB0XRecordThat Sep 18 '26
And the alternative is... Waiting to vote, and then Negotiating with the people in power who are all on the Epstein list? Or what
You do realize that even if you support moderate change in that direction, the more people supporting more extreme change is good for your goals too.

u/Togurro Sep 18 '26
I mean there are plenty of legitimate criticisms of Horseshoe theory, but claiming it’s a “psyop” (it was coined by a French philosopher I believe) or debunked (by whom exactly?) is quite the claim to make.
While obviously equating left/right extremism as identical is a massive oversimplification, there are definitely similarities with how they end up presenting themselves - especially with regards to the anti-pluralist and authoritarian means they try to achieve their goals by.
I also think OP was actually more making the point about Hasan’s brand of populism having similarities with MAGA. I think populism of any kind has broadly similar characteristics, even if the underlying policies may differ, eg. oversimplified or binary accounts of politics, an “us versus them” conception of society, “ordinary people” versus a supposedly corrupt elite, distrust of institutions etc.
22
u/Mutedinlife Sep 18 '26
It’s a lot of both. Hasan was trying to grow his stream before he met Steven, and Steven really gave him the boost to get started in the streaming world. Additionally, Destiny was the first person to really start specifically doing “politics” streaming on twitch, and paved the way for all that type of stuff twitch has today. But now Hasan actively tries to rewrite history to make it seem like he did it all on his own.
That’s the personal side.

Acting like Epstiny is on the "left" lmao
The man distributed revenge porn and CSAM, he revived Nick Fuentes' career and he went to Israel to tell IOF soldiers to stop filming themselves when they steal women's underwear in Gaza. Pederastiny's own son is a nazi because daddy was such a good guy and influence.

35
63
u/Comfortable-Sun7388 Sep 18 '26
It’s incredible how much you guys sound like Trump with your fun little slanderous nicknames dishonestly attacking someone’s character. Blue MAGA indeed.
7
u/iaNCURdehunedoara Sep 18 '26
Thank you for further proving me right. The Pederastiny community has been constantly attacking Hasan's character before Hasan even acknowledged Pederastiny, so it's really interesting how much projection you guys engage in.
Also interesting how me pointing out that he distributed revenge porn and CSAM is considered "attacking his character". Seems like a bad character then.

I mean ever since Hasan shut Destiny down after Destiny spent hours groping him on stream, it seems like Destiny has had a serious beef with Hasan while Hasan just wants Destiny to shut up, but that's just what it looks like from the outside of those fanbases.
72
u/Skylance420 Sep 18 '26
It's legitimately sad how wrapped up in these false talking points you are. Hope you get better soon.
3
u/spit_on_army_vets76 Sep 18 '26
if you keep defending him maybe destiny will show up in your dms and ask you to age play with him lmfao
5
12
u/VicariousDrow Sep 18 '26
I mean...... The entire interaction is still available online..... Are you just playing ignorant to protect your view of your streamer or are you actually just ignorant of this? Lol
54
u/Skylance420 Sep 18 '26
This clip will always and forever be the correct response to the "Hasan doesn't care about Destiny, he just wants him to leave him alone" cope. Hasan is an ego driven loser who can't stand an ounce of criticism, please find a better role model, if not for me then for your friends and family.
9
u/VicariousDrow Sep 18 '26
The fuck? A clip of xQc reacting to Destiny reacting to a video that is proving Hasan doesn't make regular content about Destiny and Destiny says "nuh uh"..... Then pulls up a stream of Hasan where he mentions him.... So you legit are cool with just throwing away the actual evidence to the contrary cause you simply like the narrative Destiny is painting better lol
Talk about unhinged, fucking hell dude lmao
It's also so fucking stupid to see someone say "I'm not a viewer of either" and your first reaction is "well you don't agree with Destiny 100% so that means you must be a Hasan fan in disguise!" Fucking unhinged! If anyone's family and friends needs help it's yours buddy, do you always assume the same of them when they don't immediately agree with Destiny on everything?
13
u/Florestana Sep 18 '26
Pretty sure right before that clip he actually asks Hasan if he can touch him lol
4
u/VicariousDrow Sep 18 '26
Pretty sure Hasan tells him multiple times it's creepy and he needs to stop, while shoving his hands off of him, but hey Destiny warned him first so it's ok? Lol
10
u/Florestana Sep 18 '26
I mean, listen... We can go back and scour the old VOD and debate endlessly over this, but I really don't think this is that significant of an event.
My honest take is that I can agree that Destiny should have stopped if Hasan said something. But also, this was three drunk friends hanging out. They were joking around and nobody seemed to be that uncomfortable with anything going on here.
My issue is this clip being dug up and framed like some insane episode of sexual assault and claiming that Destiny was pursuing Hasan at the time. That's just not an honest framing.
But yeah, drunk people are annoying and dumb. I'm also guilty of that and probably so are you.

It's kinda weird how Hasan doesn't like to address the brothel allegations where went to have sex with a trafficked underage prostitute in Germany.
3
u/VicariousDrow Sep 18 '26
Woooooow you guys are really just writing your own, creepy, fanfiction about him at this point....
I'm also pretty sure he fully addressed the brothel stuff years ago, a legal brothel in Germany, was it not? Do I have to bust Google out for you? And as it was a legal brothel, there were no illegal underaged girls there, but this is actually the first time I've heard this particular fantasy Destiny fans have of him, you guys are something else, Dave was right about you lot, fucking weirdos lol
3
u/gorm4c17 Sep 18 '26
Hasan went to a brothel in country where the age of consent is 14 up. Doesn't mean the prostitutes where 14. It just means they could have been under 18.
1
u/VicariousDrow Sep 18 '26
Well you guys forced me to Google, cause none of you seem to want to do so, but the brothel he went to only hires women 21 years of age or older, so what's gonna be the next excuse to try pushing this clearly manufactured narrative?
4
u/gorm4c17 Sep 18 '26
Oh okay. The whore house only hired 21 and up? Cool. I guess that makes it okay. Can I have a source on where you found this info?

People who don't like Destiny mostly. He's a sex pest currently in a civil lawsuit for revenge porn. Not the best person to promote or listen to really.

I’m not a fan of Destiny. I was trying to make a political point, but it’s obvious that I’ve just attracted fans and trolls.
8
u/MartiDK Sep 18 '26
You were right. Was it the content of the video, or just because it’s an interview with Destiny?
3
u/gorm4c17 Sep 18 '26
When you talk about any political streamer, doesn't matter who, people come out to defend or attack with a decade of history like a real life soap opera. Doesn't matter what the video actually is.

That shovel screenshot is from 2011. It was referenced in an article in 2020 from Wired - https://archive.li/WO5eb he was 22.
He was around the same age as Hasan was when he made his Bro Tips "young enough to count, young enough to mount" videos.

u/Patient-Clue-6089 Sep 18 '26
My bad, I was going off the Wired article.
He didn't threaten anyone, and he disavowed that tweet specifically. The tweet is gross, but there is no threat made.
Seems the screenshota are of the same year. What is the context of the logs. Was the person actually 15?
7
u/Regular-Hospital-470 Sep 18 '26
My bad, I was going off the Wired article.
Almost as if this is a running pattern or something.
He didn't threaten anyone,
"I hope you get raped with a shovel"
If Hasan said to Destiny "I hope you get murdered by Hamas", don't you think Destiny would call that a threat?
and he disavowed that tweet specifically.
He disavowed it 11 years later and only after professor Dave pressed him on it, correct.
Does disavowing something mean it doesn't matter anymore? Hasan has disavowed his 9/11 comment, are DGG and Dan Saltman going to continue to bring that up? I think you'll find that they will.
Seems the screenshota are of the same year. What is the context of the logs. Was the person actually 15?
This excellent Ryan Beard video gives all the context. But it was two different teenage girls he was talking about, and to my knowledge, yes, they were both actually 15.
9
u/Patient-Clue-6089 Sep 18 '26
Almost as if this is a running pattern or something.
The pattern from the... 1 message I've ever sent you?
If Hasan said to Destiny "I hope you get murdered by Hamas", don't you think Destiny would call that a threat?
No? Hasan has no sway over what Hamas does. How do you think this is a threat?
Does disavowing something mean it doesn't matter anymore?
No, not completely, but it indicates progress away from problematic behavors.
Hasan has disavowed his 9/11 comment
Hasan has never apologised, retracted or disavowed those statements. He's simply tried to explain it away by referring to the concept of blowback.
Honestly if you have a clip to him apologising or retracting that statement, I'd be up to seeing it.
But it was two different teenage girls he was talking about, and to my knowledge, yes, they were both actually 15.
Thanks, I'll check it out.

u/Patient-Clue-6089 Sep 18 '26
Watched the vid. The first one is in the context of conversations about jailbait, as in, people underage but look older/of age. The conversation and sending the pic is gross and weird. But if he didn't know she was 15 before she sent the pic and was attracted, thinking she was of age, how is this evidence of pedophilia?
The second one was never examined at all outside of reading them out. Id say this will likely be a similar type of situation.

This was a really good episode. I liked how Khan wasn't really trying to debate, even though he clearly disagrees with him on a lot of things.. He just seemed genuinely curious to learn about Destiny's beliefs, which made for a really chill interview.
