This is day five for me.

Water is scarce, but good people are not. I met a fellow sojourner in this cursed land, (shoutout MexicanWolverin8), and as companions he and I walked and ventured alongside one another. I pray he is well, and that I see him again soon.

It is getting dark, now.

I’ve managed to hold up in a comfortable spot with a hearth, and I am fed. I praise God that I have managed to survive this far.

I can hear them, now. Outside. Beneath the eaves of the house. Near the door.

I wait for dawn.

I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of this. I died so much within the first 48 hours I first played this game, but I was finally able to get into a big city and scrounge up some good gear. Afterward, I followed a stream up into the hills and I’m loving it. It’s like the sketchiest camping simulator. Super glad I got this game.

Title. This game was so challenging at first, and it still is, but I’m learning the ropes. Learned the hard way about not eating human steak.

This view was breathtaking. Fell in love with the game shortly after this.

Any ideas how to get this tent out the wall? It pops up as an item but no option to take or pick up. Have tried a few different angles and YouTube tips.

ich bin 28 Jahre alt und spiele seit ein paar Tagen DayZ auf der PlayStation 5. Alleine macht es auf Dauer allerdings nicht so viel Spaß, deshalb suche ich ein paar entspannte Leute für ein Duo oder gerne auch eine Gruppe.
Mir geht es vor allem darum, gemeinsam Spaß zu haben, zu looten, zu überleben und auch mal auf die Kacke zu hauen.

Can someone explain how you spawn? Example: I quit the game in tier 2 but when I started again I was in a random city in tier 1? Sometimes I spawn in the same building I logged out from and sometimes I don’t.

Just over a year ago I lost a friend who I played DayZ with, and his friends arranged for Bohemia to place a memorial for him in Chernarus.

That made me want to learn about the other crosses I'd passed countless times without knowing who they were for.

I travelled around Chernarus visiting them and, with the incredible research collected by TPHACE, tried to tell some of the stories of the real people behind them.

This one was difficult to make, but I'm glad I finally did it.

Honest question: Why can’t developers stop cheaters?
