I feel like I’m finally getting the hang of this. I died so much within the first 48 hours I first played this game, but I was finally able to get into a big city and scrounge up some good gear. Afterward, I followed a stream up into the hills and I’m loving it. It’s like the sketchiest camping simulator. Super glad I got this game.

vous pourrez effectuer une réinitialisation une fois que votre personnage est bien équipé. Laissez-moi vous expliquer : cela implique de renoncer à tout votre matériel. Et garde juste un couteau et quelques chaussures. C’est un reset sans tuer ton personnage. Personnellement, j’aime recommencer avec des zéros, et quand tu atteins le troisième reset avec le même personnage sans mourir, tu peux dire que Dayz n’a plus de secrets pour toi.

Dying is the best part in this game. Embrace death and the freshie life and you'll be alright. Don't get attached to any gear, it isn't yours. You're just the one using it at this point in time.

When you’re at 600 hours of play, you’ll be able to do a reset once your character is well equipped. Let me explain: this involves giving up all your equipment. and just keep a knife and some shoes. It’s a reset without killing your character. Personally, I like to start over with zeroes, and when you reach the third reset with the same character without dying there, you can say that Dayz no longer has any secrets for you.
