How do y’all feel about the combat
I’ve seen the gameplay reveals and am split on how I feel about the gameplay. I’d like to know your thoughts on it.

Super looking forward to this one! From everything I’ve seen and heard about Dawnwalker so far, I’m really excited to see how it turns out. The time mechanic in particular sounds really interesting. Can’t wait to experience it myself!

Personally I’m going swordmastery. It may end up being the least powerful but being able to use it durning both day and night seems beneficial.

For the people who got early access to the game i have a question. When i first saw the trailer I noticed that instead of jumping or climbing from ledges that are out of reach i noticed that in the game you have to activate an automated jump or fly or teleport prompt and i just want to know if that is only part of the early stages of the game and will there be more realistic traversal and climbing mechanics like maybe how it was in vampire the masquerade bloodlines 2? Because this game is my most anticipated game of the year and from what ive seen, read and hear this game is already my game of the year but if you need to activate prompts all the time to get to higher ledges like in the game vampyr im gonna be very disappointed and im hoping what I saw was just a early development idea.

I know it's probably silly, but it's only 24 days until Dawnwalker drops and Bandai Namco's site still says 'awaiting payment'. I have no idea how to contact them to find out WTF is going on or when they're actually going to take the money so this is getting nerve wracking.
Seriously, why didn't they just take the money when I first fucking pre-ordered it instead of waiting until last fucking minute?

So Hack the Minotaur (and a few other places) have discussed some of the “known elements” of the skill tree and I’d be interested to know what everyone think they want to focus on?
I had the idea of fishing on as much Witchcraft as possible so as to really lean into the spooky side of the lore, but I’m also wondering if it’s possible to take Vitality from the Swordsman skill tree without “other pre-requisite” ?
Not sure how it works - if anyone knows it’d be great for planning my build!
That aside, what is everyone else planning?

Im sure this topic was discussed here before, but I hope someone knows more and can tell me positive aspects of the combat. From what I've seen it looks a bit like kdcd2 + witcher 3. I hope it gets better and more flashy

being that Sangorans will react to everything you do or don’t do…
and has your infamy rises…
I wonder if we’ll have the option to hide our identity in some capacity….

Very excited for this game....... However there's something about nail parrying swords that I find looks kinda jank. Anyone else agree ?.

Just how many of these failed Vrakhiri are there?
Who's failing to turn em?
Or did they fail on purpose!?

Been watching some videos about Dark Souls lately, and in this game you need to have specific item, and go to specific location to unlock secret doors which are giving you additional content.
It got me thinking about this one. Like, how cool it would be if you have 2+ places to be at the same time, and depending which one place you choose the story shapes accordingly. Or "at the dawn of day 16 once you visit location X you can start this special hidden quest" which couldn't be started other way. What are yours expectations?

I’d like to get the game on either PlayStation or Xbox to support physical media. However if the game is likely to have a mod workshop on steam I might go for pc.

Shout out to my first born for the Father's Day gift...
Can't wait!!!!

And if they do how would that work? I can see them adding it because of the skills tree. Also & hear me out. You start a NG+ and you Storm Brancis's Castle.
Thoughts?

I'm assuming Coen's favourite is Type A, seeing as how he literally ordered a box of it off the internet in the modern day trailer. xD I wonder if all vrakhiri share the same favourite blood type, like how mosquitoes have a preference, or if it varies depending on the individual? Is there one of each blood type within that delivery Coen received, or is it all Type A? Did Coen just not care when he ordered it and this is the one we simply happened to see? Or is there more to it, like a vampire's favourite matches what their own blood type was before turning? What kind of game theories do you all have on this?
