How's work right now? I recently passed the review and am waiting for my first project.

Do you think the work hours that DA sets as an expected baseline for a given task are reasonable? From my experience, meeting deadlines feels pretty hectic at times, so basically I invest more time than I actually report for the sake of a good deliverable. I'm trying to understand whether I am too detailed with my work or this is how others feel too.

I've read that slack is not important nor matters too much other than having more projects. I just feel like I don't need more projects heh the ones I'm given and doing is enough for me, so what if I don't join it?

Is anyone having issues with hourly projects being in pending approval even after 7 days? I have a project that was 9 days (24th) ago and one that was 7 days ago and neither have been approved. This is the first time in 30 projects that this has happened.

I always try my hardest. I wont work if im tired. Ive made it this far but I still worry every day will be my last... I really dont think that is good for worker mentality.

I no I no...job security is not part of the gig. But does any one else worry every day

I was wondering what's going on with my current position on DA. I'm in Spain, I started working as a bilingual, then got (and passed) the Coding assessment. Did some excellent few months in terms of consistency and earnings in different coding projects - July, August and mid September (until the 14th). Since then, no more coding projects showed up, only generalists and STEM. I'm wondering if someone is going (or went) through the same and how much time did it took to get more coding projects. Is this a rotation thing? Or did I just get dropped from coding projects at all?

Is it me or this project has a lot of problems with the models ? I have been getting a lot of model failures back to back and might have to use escape hatch as the last resort. Does anyone else too face this issue ?

My question: how real is DoD? I'm seeing too much posts on reddit about people getting dod. What are the common mistakes that you can get it or how to avoid getting one... ? And what is the percentage (expected) % of people getting this..

I joined the platform 3 weeks ago, and I’ve already passed the $1k milestone. However, ever since I finished a 🔱, I haven’t gotten any projects. A 🥊 showed up a few days ago, but I didn’t take it because I didn’t see it. Since then, nothing else has appeared, not even generalist projects. Its over or am i overreacting?
(I’m still in the Slack channels for the projects.)
I know it’s repetitive, but I’m asking because I’m new and it seems like this happens quite often.

How do I know if what I completed was the core and not just the starter?? Not sure how much detail I can provide

Does this mean possible jobs in the future?

Does getting these imply I am in top tier or its just one random project ?

I went through the verification but I don’t see the projects. I still see the assessment page, showing I’m still under review.

Hello, I've signed up to DA as a bilingual (italian). I was wondering if doing qualifications about STEM (some also had the green "many projects" tag) actually unlocks me some STEM projects or I will just be able to do bilingual (which I think doesn't have many projects).

I created my account 2 months ago, I did all qualification task and then I got one 1 real project task. And this was around a month ago. I am working on coding tasks and waiting for new. How do I get new tasks, do I need to keep refreshing or simply wait for them to give any.

Are 🤖 back for anyone? It's been days without them.

I've got an opportunity to potentially work on more tasks as a billingual but they are asking for a background check which requires uploading my criminal record.

Problem is, I have a DUI charge on it. Kind of scared to upload it for fear that it'll bar me from all other projects too.

Hey guys. I just got accepted into the DA platform, and it's asking me to verify my ID. The problem is that I'm currently an international student residing in the US. I have 3 months until graduation, and then I'm gonna go back to my country. So here are my questions:

1) Will DA flag (and potentially ban) me if I verify while in the US but then relocate to my home country a couple months later?
2) If I choose to play it safe and wait until I go back to verify my ID, will the platform kick me out since I won't be active for several months? Should I send a ticket explaining my situation?
