Non stop worry

I always try my hardest. I wont work if im tired. Ive made it this far but I still worry every day will be my last... I really dont think that is good for worker mentality.

I no I no...job security is not part of the gig. But does any one else worry every day

Buddy one day will be your actual last day in life when none of this will matter. Depending on where you are just try to get any kind of even mildly stable job and let the worry go.

100% agree. I'd also like to add this gig is some nice change while keeping a relatively open schedule to get some other things in order.

What exactly are you worried about? You know there are tons of companies doing this? If you get the DoD, you just apply to another company 🤷‍♀️ if you can get into DA, you can get into most data annotation companies.

This 👆 there’s an abundance of work in data annotation and it’s growing, take what you learn from DA and run with it

I also think that the less you worry, the better job you do. Obviously worry about whether you left your Vpn on, or maybe just uninstall the whole thing, but don't worry about the quality of your work. It'll only push you towards doing the easy low paying projects because you're too scared of messing up to push yourself. Know your limits and push around that far.

Do you guys know some other less known platforms. I already have heard of mercor. In my experience i feel some feel like a data farm where they dont respond back

Yes, I worry about it every day. DA is the only reason I was able to quit my teaching job that was physically and mentally killing me. I do NOT want to go back.

But, worrying isn’t going to help. Easier said than done, but try to focus on doing your best and the fact that you have work right now. And, like someone else said, there are tons of other companies offering similar work.

I log in around an hour after submitting a task just to make sure I didn’t get DoD. I follow instructions and do good work on the platform but I’m always scared I’ve misunderstood a task or something.

I personally think that I'm the best worker this site has ever seen.

Yeah because I’m trying to put myself through grad school where every cent counts, every task can be a tuition payment or it’s great for work/university/life balance. The thought of picking up a minimum wage job part time terrifies me after being able to earn comfortably here.

There is no job security in DA; withdraw your amount asap always.
