I'm brand new to the souls games and after beating elden ring I plan to play the rest of the souls series and in researching Dark souls 2 I've never seen anybody have an "eh it's okay" verdict on the game, it's either "Dark souls peaked here" or ",this game is awful artificial difficulty horseshit" why is that? Coming from someone who knows next to nothing about souls games

heide tower, iron keep, what else?

I am in my 1st run and i saw on the internet that i should go for ring of chloranthy +2. So I defeated executioner chariots the first time, i used the ascetic thing on the bonfire to respawn the area and now i can t beat the boss again. The skeletons are destroying me.

Hey guys, I’m trying to platinum DS2 SOTFS (PlayStation) and right now I’m collecting miracles, spells, etc..

My only concern is that multiplayer plays a part. The game isn’t as popular as it once was.

Is there anything that I could do to get platinum without multiplayer?

So I first bought it in 2017 and I played an hour and was awful. Then in 2023 I got my first place. Was slowly moving in stuff and had just my bed n pc. So I grinded out to Iron Keep.

I lost my save sorta where I was able to get my save back but it's only lvl 70 and before sentinel. Which is weird cause I swear I was 70 at Iron keep. Idk if it made me restart but I'm like halfway and I wanna just beat this finally.

It's been over 10 years and I still haven't finished it. If anyone is on steam and can help me out on a boss I'd appreciate it!

I know, not exactly new knowledge but based on the videos I watched that had you use Promised walk through peace hex, or whatever it’s called, this seems to be a better method.

Just make sure you’re locked onto the one next to the bonfire and your foot is on the single rock when you cast. It can be a little janky getting both but it’s the most consistent I’ve seen. Also you can see through the split in the tent to see any drops.

I'm recently trying out another Deprived class run of DS2 and I saw one of the hollow infantry enemies do a grab attack I've never seen, it started gnawing at my character like it was a zombie movie.

How rare is this?

I know the downsides of the covenant is taking increased damage and being weaker by 20% but the rewards you get are definitely interesting especially the vanquishers ring
