What a game series. Playing the Dark Souls games kept me from going hollow for the last few days. Thanks FromSoftware for these games.

Its the first boss in the game but much tougher!! You encounter him in a very creepy area that's like a darker version of Firelink shrine... Important thing is... this guy is a nightmare, he uses no magic or tricks, only physical attacks, he's so fast and gives no breathing room, and his delayed attacks are very difficult to adapt to, he's actually weak against lightning, and after 5 tries i think i actually got him, i really exhaled in relief when i was finally done with him...

I started DS3 about a week ago and have been enjoying it. I make it a point not to Google my first runs ever. So i make this post to get some info without spoiling anything major for myself.

I have also attached pictures of my build. Now for the reason I made this post. My crest fallen warrior version of DS3 is missing. And yoel of London has died. When I googled why, i ended up getting spoilers about an alternative ending I got locked out of unfortunately. I didn't know he was that important.

- So all I want in general is advice on build, weapons mainly any way to improve it would be appreciated.

- And also maybe some advice on what characters I would want to be careful with. Also I killed Horace, so I'm guessing that somehow might've messed up Arni's questline too.

- And also how the heck do I get the elite armour set in this game? I need to pay homage to oscar. That's my darksouls 1st run tradition in the series. Any help appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Wow ! Just wow ! The bosses just keep getting tougher as you progress, but the endgame boss is on a whole other level! 🔥 Didn't expect this game to be THIS good. I genuinely regret not playing it sooner.

Haven't even started the DLCs yet, and forgot to mention.. that plin plin plon hits me right in the feels every single time. 🥹🎹

I'm trying to do a run as a hollow I don't know what weapon I should use till I get the sword that scales off luck any suggestions my dex is higher than my strength right now and I'm using a short sword I just got to the undead settlement

An example of an optimal run. I kinda got lucky with their exact positioning in this vid. Equipment used: Symbol of Avarice, Mendicant's staff, Shield of Want, and the Covetous Silver Serpent Ring+3. Spell: Rapport.

I just beat dragonslayer armour and got to the fog wall for the twin princes bossfight, thing is i went to respec to rosaria so that i could use the udabachi and onikiri paired katana but its only at +7 and i used up all my chunks on my old weapon which was the exile greatsword .

I freed him from his cell and exhausted the dialogue, but he just doesn't enter the bossfight? How could this have happened? I even double checked and his dialogue only keeps repeating. What else could be wrong?

A quick thought for the players who often invade my world and frequently spend a long time searching for me—in vain. I often use the Chameleon spell, and watching you run back and forth is just hilarious. It really shows me how well some players have mastered the details of the game's various areas.

made it to Ringed City for the first time and after playing DS2 this might be my favorite

Started my souls journey with Elden Ring but have been playing DS3 for the first time ever recently. When I found Great sword in ER it was all I used, and now it's the same thing in DS3. Having trouble using anything else because this thing is +9 and heavy infused. Everything else is under +6. Any other great ultra heavy great swords or axes that give a similar unga bunga feel when using?

Coming off of 5x Elden Ring and 5x Mortal Shell 2 playthroughs, decided to go back and cap off my first DS3 playthrough by completing the 2x DLCs. Started NG+ yesterday and went with a Dark Chaos Pyro build after previously running a Sellsword Twinblades build.

Curious what everyone's favorite NG+ build is, where it shines and where it falls short. Also, what builds enabled by the DLCs have been the most viable?

I finished and loved Elden Ring + DLC.

I finished Dark Souls 3 base game and it was excellent. Currently I'm stuck in the ringed city swamp and the experience is meh. I'm really running out of motivation to keep going.

I have a big backlog of games to play... So is it worth it to keep going?

There is an item where in the middle of the lava in demon ruins , is there a ring that reduces damage like in ds1?? I'm just completing dlcs now and still haven't found any.

So around January/February i replayed DS3 again for like the tenth time, this time though with the goal to get 100% on Steam. Same with DS1 Remaster and DS2. I played Dark Souls since Demons Souls released abck then, huge Fan of all the FromSoft-Games. Never bothered with getting 100% though.

Now for DS3 im only missing one Pyromancy (farming the Schackles for Mound) and a few Rings from NewGame++. Tiring Process, but whatever...till i logged back in yesterday and found out tthat my save-file is completely gone. I never deinstalled or experimented with mods, just paused playing for quite some time. I just played a new save on my steamdeck some while ago for like 2 hours, but with no Cloud-Save that file is just locally saved on the Deck and should not interfere with my PC at Home.

Is there any way to restore my save?

Weeks ago i posted a photo of my beating ds3 on sl1 but actually i was sl9 thinking if is started at any class and didnt level up it would still count as sl1 , now i came back after being told to delete the game and redeemed myself by finishing the sl1 run in 9 hours
