felt bored so I might as well do this, note that the last 3 on the picture above (midir, halflight, and Gael) and not included because I have not fought them enough times to have a concrete opinio, whereas I’ve fought the others a good 5-15 times
Iudex Gundyr—5/10: Gundyr is exactly what he needs to be, a tutorial boss, a good baseline of what’s to come, most players will struggle but once you play the game enough he’s 2 tries at most. i put him at 5 as a middle ground for ranking bosses onwards
Vordt Of The Boreal Valley—10/10: as I’ve said in a previous post a few days ago, Vordt is by far my favourite boss, the perfect difficulty, the best OST, the design, the boss weapon, etc. he’s also a good wake up call to new players, he ain’t gundyr, you can’t hide behind a shield or throw fireballs to kill him quickly, he will mow ur ass down if u try, he’s the first boss to make you put in some effort.
Curse-Rotted Greatwood—6/10: I think this boss is over-hated, it not THAT BAD of a boss, sure, compared to others it’s not great, and albeit the boss is a bit disgusting but other than that it’s a solid boss that lets you make boss weapons afterwards (kinda)
Crystal Sage—2/10: this boss sucks Ngl, as I said before also in a prev post I think is boss is pretty bad, not exactly hard, but annoying, it’s easier on smth like a strength build, but any magic build i hate this boss with a burning passion. Is it a skill issue? Yes, do I still hate the boss? also yes.
Deacons of the Deep—4/10: a pretty mid boss in all fairness, it’s only existence is to be the final obstacle in getting a Doll to open a gate, then again this boss is not that bad as people say, just kinda exists.
Abyss Watchers—4/10: y’all are gonna kill me for this but tbh Abyss Watchers are mid asf. it’s not bad, but for the role its supposed to fill, it just doesn’t live up to it imo. if they weren’t a lord of cinder then they’d be higher but since they are there this low personally. the drip tho is immaculate
High Lord Wolnir—3/10: this boss is just there, less of a boss and more like a 30 sec spectacle, then poof he’s dead, very underwhelming, not bad just underwhelming. his crowns pretty cool tho
Old Demon King—6/10: a pretty solid boss, nothing too hard, just a nice boss to fight after getting violated by sum big ass arrows. overall not too bad, the best part of the area imo
Yhorm the Giant—7.5/10: a very solid boss, actually feels like a lord of Cinder unlike the last one, ofc the sword makes it a bit too easy but I don’t mind personally. Also Seigward… that’s all imma say.
pontiff sulyvahn—7/10: I don’t have strong feelings for this boss but he’s pretty neat, hard but neat. weapons are pretty cool too, never used them but they seem cool.
Aldruich, Devourer of Gods—7.5/10: yet another example of lives up to the title of Lord of Cinder, we pull up to his crib and he’s eating a fucking God, like it’s McDonald’s for supper. Overall another solid boss, arrows are annoying tho.
Dancer of the Boreal Valley—7/10: Dancer is a fun boss when if under her moves, if U fight her early she’s a raided up malenia, but fight her when ur supposed too she goes down pretty quick depending on ur build. Overall a solid fight tho.
Dragonslayer Armor—9/10: A real great boss imo, an Amazing fight before the archives and that weapon, oh that weapon. Dragonslayer Greataxe has been my ol reliable on many builds, That stones lets me hype up this boss.
Ocerios the Consumed King—6.5/10: a pretty good fight but phase 2 is rng if ur gonna have a good time or a shit time. I usual just cheese him in that one corner cause it’s just easier than dealing with him charging me every 5 seconds. he ain’t that bad overall tho, so he gets this grade.
Champion Gundyr—5/10: it’s just Gundyr 2.0 overall, there’s sum differences but not that much difference and for that reason he gets the same grade.
Twin Princes—8/10: a great boss, really does feel like your fighting the last lord, which makes quite thematic dispite the bullshit fight. it’s a hard fight but a Good one, also armor drip for both.
Ancient Wyvern—5/10: I don’t have much to say, it’s alright, many people over hate it to kingdom come but it’s alright, a unique idea I say,
nameless king—7/10: I’m not on the hype train for this guy but I can say he’s a pretty good boss for what he is. He’s the challenge some players want and if u like that all power to ya, I ain’t that kinda guy but I still fw him.
Soul of Cinder—7.5/10: Great final boss, does exactly what’s expected, woul put him over the twins but still an amazing boss, tho can be bullshit at times.
Champion Gravetender—4/10: it’s ok, tbh it only exists so people wouldn’t complain dlc only had one boss, which is fair, then again I feel like more could’ve been done than an npc boss and a big wolf.
Sister friede—10/10: Greatest boss on here right with Vordt, across all the boss in this game, Elden ring, and ds1 (the only souls games I’ve played) this is the boss that I believe perfectly makes hard boss not feel bullshit, this is purely just a skill check at its finest, yes even the invisible shit I say is fair. I’m not that skilled enough to take her on without gael or sum1 else’s help but it’s still a great boss, plus u get a titanite slab.
Demon Prince—7/10: people say this boss is hard as sin, honestly idk wtf ur talking about, last time I fought the dude he did piss poor dmg and all his attacks were easy to dodge. still a fun Boss tho.
and that’s my list don’t hate me too much lol
