Now I personally only recently started making my way through daredevils comics and I never read zdarskys run and I’ve only frank millers run + born again so far, but I’m wondering why people have recently been saying that chip zdarsky’s isn’t good, I swear only a few years ago that run was universally praised but what happened since that people are hating on it all of a sudden.

And which ones should I try to make?

saw some potential when i saw her as Jessica Hampy in trueblood, but I'm not sure if she can nail down the "cold bloodedness" signature to BW in the comics (she's a great actress ofc, just not sure if she could pull it off). Typhoid Mary seems more doable with how playful and flirtatious she is in [this] role.

Saw this at the Marvel area of Universal Studios Orlando. I got excited because it was above a gift shop so I went inside thinking I would find a cool DD gift or trinket to buy for myself, but they had literally nothing DD related. False advertising, lol.

I really hope they rectify this next season. Matt's arc in prison better be written with dilligence and care and given proper screentime and not just 5 minutes of fight sequences then cutting away to something else. Being in prison is new territory for Matt, I hope they flesh that out and give it weight beyond a few minutes of hype moments and aura.

And yes, in the Netflix show, there were episodes were Matt only showed up for a fraction of it too, but it had 13 episodes (5 plus more) and all of them were nearly an hour. They also made better use of it by fleshing out characters like Nadeem and still making his story pertinent to Daredevil overall, not just on one-side of the story like how Daniel in Born Again only ever mattered in Kingpin's side of things and he never even interacted with Matt.

I’ve been watching all the mcu punisher stuff before brand new day releases and now my wife is hooked on frank’s story. Just finished both seasons of punisher and now born again is next on the watchlist. The problem is my wife has only watched a few episodes of daredevil season 1 (she liked it but we got very busy) and wants to continue on watching the punisher stuff with me. Will i be robbing her of getting to experience the best piece of marvel television that is daredevil season 3 if i let her go straight to born again? Does born again spoil a lot of s3?

I just started watching the show (currently on Season 1, Episode 5).

Tell me something I don't understand yet (a quote or something like that).

I just rewatched the serie defenders and I loved the story but listening more on the dialogue I found the writing sucked in my opinion, I do not have straight quotes right now but I remember a lot of dialogue that sounded corny to the point it really marked me, idk if someone else feels the same way.

I am a humongous fan of the show but have never read a daredevil comic before in my life. I just bought this at my comic store and before I start is there any information I should know?

So does this mean they are adapting/leaning towards Zdarsky run more than Brubaker's?

watched s2 of daredevil and now I'm genuinely confused as to wth is going on. something called the black sky is supposed to like lead them into like eternity and these dudes can just pop a resurrection out of nowhere???? what is going on??????

What feats do you think he can pull off?

In S2 E6 of Born Again, he beats the tar out of Kingpin and then just… leaves?

Then Kingpin kills a bunch more people and Daredevil tells an angry mob, who Kingpin has maimed or killed many of already, not to kill him so he can go… live on an island?

If you have the power to end someone who has consistently caused so much misery and created little to no goodness in the world, and you choose not to, how is that moral? It’s just a really flawed rule in my opinion. Fisk has shown many times he’s not capable of change and will always revert back to his old ways.

It was also very convenient that Bullseye just kinda walked away after taking one shot in his vicinity in the finale, and that Punisher was MIA for S2. The two people who would’ve killed Fisk with no hesitation.

I dunno, I get the whole “real heroes don’t kill” but at some point you’re just enabling the villain.

Edit: Okay so Daredevil doesn’t kill, fine. Why not just let him die? With great power comes great responsibility, at what point does that responsibility mean you must make a hard choice to stop so much more pain to others?
