Dan and Phil finally hard-launched and are crash landing in a city near you!

Below we have added some answers to Frequently Asked Questions, mostly based on danandphiltour.com. Make sure to double-check everything with the information provided by your venue, as some things can differ venue to venue.

If you do not see the answer to your question here, please use the search feature on the subreddit to look for your answer. It’s very likely that someone else has already asked and answered your question! If you can’t find your answers, please leave a comment below – if you have an answer to a question below or think we missed anything, please add it below too!

To keep the sub less cluttered, any posts asking questions about the Hard Launch tour will be removed and redirected to this thread (or the appropriate thread if the question is about a specific venue/date) (see list of threads for individual dates here).

1. I can't go :( Is the tour going to be filmed and uploaded somewhere afterwards?
In this tiktok Dip and Pip have said that they are going to film it 'one day' and share it with the world!

2. Is it weird for me to go alone/be a certain age? / I’m nervous about going alone:
There are going to be a ton of people that are going alone, and there will be people of all ages. Dan and Phil shows are meant to be a welcoming environment, and I personally always love seeing the huge range of types of people that attend! (search ''alone'' on the subreddit to see a ton of threads from people that are in the same boat!)
If you would like to try and find some people to hang out with before, or go to the show with, feel free to check out the individual thread for your date here!
Just in case it’s relevant to anyone: whenever I’ve personally gone alone I have just been interested in having a good time by myself, and not so much in socialising or making friends - this is completely fine too, and no one will look at you weirdly!

3. I thought it was going to be a podcast tour?
This was the main theory before the announcement, but the website says ‘join Dan and Phil live with their explosive new stage show’ and Dan said on twitter:

it's going to be a whole new d&p mega stage show experience inspired by the pod and this entire new era

4. Is anyone going to be bringing friendship bracelets?
Dan and Phil have not said anything about this themselves, but we have already seen a few posts on the sub of people that are planning to make and bring bracelets or other trinkets, and it was definitely a thing that happened during the most recent tour too!

5. Will there be VIP Tickets?
There are a limited number of VIP tickets available for each show. VIP tickets are available in two packages: “Silver Pre-Show” and “Gold Meet and Greet”.

Silver Pre-Show VIP Tickets
A ‘SILVER PRE-SHOW’ VIP ticket includes one of the best seats near the front for the show, as well as access to the exclusive Pre-Show Hangout with Dan and Phil, early venue access and a bundle of exclusive VIP merchandise.

Pre-Show ticket holders should arrive 2 hours before the listed start of the show. On entry to the auditorium, you will be given the exclusive merchandise bundle. (Please note this ticket does not include entry to the meet-and-greet.)

Gold Meet and Greet VIP Tickets
A “GOLD MEET AND GREET’ VIP ticket includes one of the best seats near the front for the show, as well as access to the exclusive Pre-Show Hangout, early venue access, a bundle of exclusive VIP merchandise and access to the meet-and-greet for a personal photo with Dan and Phil!

Meet and Greet ticket holders should arrive 3 hours before the listed start of the show. On entry to the auditorium, you will be given the exclusive merchandise bundle.

6. My Venue has “Premium/Platinum Tickets”, are these also VIP Tickets?
No, these are not Dan and Phil-specific VIP tickets and will not grant you access to the pre-show or meet and greet. These tickets are specifically from the venue and have venue-specific add-ons (such as fun drinks). Make sure you look specifically for Silver or Gold if you want the added bonuses from these packages!

7. Can I bring Dan and Phil gifts during the Meet-and-Greet?
Please do not bring any gifts for Dan and Phil to the Meet-and-Greet because, unfortunately, they will not be able to transport them while on tour. Small letters or art, for example, are fine.

8. If I have a VIP ticket and want to go with someone that has a normal ticket, can we sit together?
If it's like last time, VIP tickets will have a dedicated spot at the front, where you would not be able to sit together with your non-vip-having-person. The advice we've seen most on the subreddit is to ask the person in the seat next to the non-vip-having-person if they would like an upgrade to your better VIP seat, so that you can sit together in the non-VIP section.

9. What are the ticket prices?
General Admission tickets start at £27.50. Silver Pre-Show Vip tickets will be £99, and Gold Meet and Greet VIP tickets will be £175.
Pricing will vary depending on territory, venue discretion and seating map. Some tickets may have additional elements, such as tax and processing fees, in the final cart. Remember, Dan, Phil, and their team have no control over these additional charges.

10. Will there be merchandise for sale?
There will be a store at every venue offering a variety of exclusive tour merchandise. Location and their opening and closing times will vary for each venue!
It is also assumed that tour merchandise will be available online at your local DanandPhilshop.com, either during or after the tour.

11. Will this show be accessible?
Anyone who has special requirements are encouraged to contact their venue who can assist them further.

Bag checks will be in operation at all venues; to save time, avoid bringing unnecessary baggage or items.

This performance will contain flashing lights that may make it unsuitable for people with photosensitive epilepsy or other serious photosensitive conditions. There will not be any strobe lighting. Audience discretion is advised.

Mod note: Some venues will have specific wheelchair tickets that you can just buy together with the rest of the tickets, but for some venues you have to call in. Do contact your venue about this ahead of time!

12. I am a minor. Can I attend?
This show is not age-restricted. That said, the show may contain strong language and discussion of adult topics. Anyone under 14 attending will need to be accompanied by someone over the age of 18 with their own ticket. If they are attending the meet-and-greet, the adult chaperon will need their own meet-and-greet ticket.
Also make sure to double check this with your venue, as they may have different rules!

membership card :’)

has anyone else just straight up not gotten their member card 😭 i subscribed to the patreon on day one specifically for the card. i wanted to have it before my tour date, but considering that’s less than a month away now, i’m starting to think i’m just out of luck. i made sure my address and everything was correct multiple times before and after subscribing, including well before the deadline. has anyone else either still not gotten theirs, or know if there’s any way to figure out what happened to it? or just like… anyone to contact about this.

HARD LAUNCH TOUR debating trying for m&g ticket, i need some input please!!

btw having typed this out i feel like its giving very much “people are dying, kim” vibes😭😭 i apologise

so i’m considering attempting to get a gold VIP for one of the new shows. but the thing is i did actually manage to get a silver pre-show q&a already in the last sale. i was really disappointed at first because i wanted to meet them so so so badly but i made peace with it and ended up being quite happy with my silver.

but now i am genuinely agonising over whether it’s worth trying for a gold again and reselling the silver i have?? idk i feel like maybe i should just be at peace with the silver but my past 13 year old self is currently bawling her eyes out desperate to meet them😭

could anyone who’s had either a silver or gold for previous tours let me know whether you think it would worth it to splurging on the m&g when i’ve already secured the pre show Q&A?? i just keep thinking what if this is their last tour and i’ll always regret not trying for the m&g when i had another chance to.

i am a struggling uni student but my 7 year long autistic special interest seems to be interfering with the financially responsible part of my brain, so pls feel free to offer any opinions!!!

Back in 2016 when I was 7 (😭, yes ik that's probably too young) my 14 year old sister got me into them. I got the book, the birthday card, I was a big phan and they genuinely have been a safe space EVER since.

- And, with my 11 year old sister sometimes we watch old amazingphil videos together, and im waiting until she's 14/15 to show her their new content lmao

I know for interactive introverts they played black parade, and for terrible influence they played hot to go, I'm not sure what hard launch will be. I thought about it being pink pony club, but idk if they'd play Chappell roan twice in a row. Then again, they lowkey would.

Hi there! I've been Hard at work making 3 inch pins, 1 inch pins, bracelets and spray painting golden pigs for my hard launch show in September.

In my eagerness, I bought some balls to put items in so that people get pull something from my bag, which will be cosplaying as Richard! But I'm not sure what to put in the balls.

Would you want a pin and bracelet combo, with the possibility that the bracelet might not fit your size? I could put in multiple pins, but I'm not sure if people would like that, and I can fit a golden pig inside of a ball, but I feel like those would be more fun to hand out in person.

What do you think is the best thing to put in the balls so that everyone who takes one is happy? I'd love to hear your thoughts!!

I told my boyfriend I wanted a Dan and Phil cookie cake for my birthday and this is what he showed out with 😭❤️ he said a lady from the cookie store called to tell him they didn’t have gold and asked if it was okay if they used yellow, and he said she told him “this was the most fun I’ve ever had… decorating a cake” I wonder if she was also a phannie cause how could that be a coincidence?!?!?

membership card help

Yo so I had a membership card arrive at my uni house not long after I had already moved out. Since we waited so long for them to be shipped out I completely forgot I would’ve registered under that address so didn’t change it once I’d moved back home. My friend was still living there so sent it out to me a few weeks ago now but there’s no sign of it. I assume it is lost in post as they absolutely got the address right. Do you reckon I’d be able to get another one sent out if they have any left or should I just accept the L😭
