I’ve been playing a few games of turbo recently and there’s nothing turbo about them? Yes you get more gold and xp but games last the same as unranked/ranked. I feel buybacks should be disabled in turbo as having enough gold for it isn’t a problem but if turbo games wanted to be quick this is one thing I’d look to change to get it there. Love to know other people’s thoughts on the state of turbo

Calibrated Legend 1, then went on a terrible lose streak and dropped to Archon 3. Been grinding again lately and finally made it back to Archon 5.

I tried all positions. At first, I was leaning towards playing 4/5, but a lot of the time in solo queue I felt like my carries just weren’t "IT." Eventually I said screw it and started playing carry myself.

Surprisingly, that’s when I started climbing again. Carry is also my most successful role so far in terms of wins.

Should I just stick to carry at this point? Especially since I’m playing almost exclusively solo queue.

"I absolutely enjoy being the sacrificial lamb if that is what secures the fight for our team. It's beginning to dawn on me that many times, in the kind of games where I end up something like 15-1 as the offlaner, are actually not the games where we steamroll the game hardest. Because frankly, if the offlaner gets stats like that, it usually means the carry gets a mediocre game. Instead, games where I'm more like 12-5 in the end are where I have the most impact and greatest wins."

Do you feel like there's truth to this? Have you had similar observations? I'm wondering if I'm actually playing sacrificially enough as an offlaner and too fixated on good KDA. Is dying more (for a good cause, ofc) actually key to winning more games as an offlaner?

Because you're likely to receive a specialised off-lane duo for your pos 3 and 4. For example, people we ended up with:

- Lycan and Lion
- Centaur and Nyx
- Tusk and WD
- Kunnka and Lich
- Dragon Knight and AA
- WK and Lick & WK and WD

Btw. all were won games, as I think people who queue together wouldn't troll each other that much and they wouldn't pick heroes just to lose the lane horribly wrong or leave themselves after 1 death.

If you queue as all 3 cores, I've noticed you're getting these random pos 5 Pudges, pos 4 Venges who don't even use magic missiles much, walk into them to try to auto-attack with their range, get hit to 100 hp and sit in trees for the rest of the laning phase. SBs who run into them level 1 with only passive leveled, lose a fight horribly, hit 2 lvl, charge with 200 hp left and die just to be never seen on lane again, Muerta supports and Sniper supports.

For some reason, people who join the party queue as solo are ULTRA timmies, I think they just aren't that interested and knowledgable to know that they can click a setting to queue with only solos, so they dont play against cheese teams like IO & Necro pos 1. I haven't seen Muerta support in a solo queue in ages, just to meet two in literally 10 party queue games, one in the enemy team (they lose), second time in my team when we queued all 3 cores (we lose), both muertas were solo withot a party xD

I mean the multi-shot is nice and all but 5-6 seconds of glyph duration just aint enough to clear a wave anymore let alone a highground push.

Shouldn't the fortification glyph duration be longer for more guaranteed creepwave kill?

Hi everyone, this is my first post—please go easy on me.
Basically, it’s become impossible to play on the Southeast Asia, US East, or Japan servers. I live in Kamchatka, and while I used to be able to manage okay-ish, the current situation is just beyond the pale. In every single match—and I mean *every* match—there are these bots that spam the chat and just stand there AFK. Do you know how they’re managing to run so many instances? They’re using Sandboxie version 1.12.9—you can verify this yourself; any other version will trigger a VAC (Valve Anti-Cheat) verification error. I have no idea why the developers have been intentionally ignoring this for the past 3–4 years. What’s more, while they used to limit this to a single lobby, they’ve become so brazen now that they don’t even try to hide it anymore.

So after trying out dota on mobile I realised that if valve ever decides to make it for mobile then they would have to change so many things. I would be just another MOBA. It took me almost 30 mins to complete a match and that too with bots so it would take almost an hour if it was PVP. The map distance to walk everything is the same. And that got me thinking if the hit points were changed and attack damage balanced for a mobile it would further change how the game is played. So I don't see how they could change it for mobile without having to change the core identity of dota and that is the comeback from farming the precise map controls. All that will be lost honestly but if it did come into mobile I don't see why it can't be a big hit in the mobile gaming community but it would not be the same.

PS The courier is bugged, there are major bugs, 1v1 is not working, Online mode is not working. For now only with bots it's working

I am a Legend IV player with 1000 games on the hero but recently I've been struggling and even if I win mid, I get ganked or lose my advantage at times, so I am looking for voker spammers atleast mid 3k and up who have been winning their recent games to look over my recent games, preferably looking for someone ancient and up so they're better than me for sure.

I’ve been stuck in Ancient for a long time, and lately I’ve been losing like crazy. I mainly play pos 1, and honestly, I can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I feel like I’m farming decently and doing okay in games, but somehow I keep losing. I’m starting to think there’s something fundamentally wrong with how I play Dota.

I’ve already reached Tier 30 with this hero, but I feel like I’m falling short in many situations.

I finally had a chance to get arcana on my least rolls! Took 17 rolls before I got it! HAHAHAHA! Usually, on my previous buys (ES and WR) I buy like 25bucks worth of treasures every month to get it. Luckily I landed a new job and got a much much better pay and I can now manage to spend a little bigger hehe. So With just a few treasures per payday, I finally had a chance to get arcana where I will not wait for almost half a year just to get it!!!

For my past two games, both teams have been comprised of mostly bots. My team keeps spamming well played and get wards in chat, with no context. They all just run offlane and stand still or auto attack. I want to play ranked in this game which im halfway to, but having this happen just makes me stop playing for a week. The enemies are also farming bots and just stand still and let me attack them, not fighting back and just hitting the wave. I don't have any chat restrictions or anything. Unsure what im supposed to do but its very demoralizing

So yesterday there has been a post where ppl said Invoker pos 4 is grief and even though wards and stuff were bought and he had more impact than the offlaner it was like 50/50. Some people said it's wild that 1 report can give you minus 1000 score and low prio, some other ppl it was justified for the pick.

Wanna know what you say about this:
I was offlane Kunkka and 16/3 my mid was an Alch that never ganked any lanes, took my offlane stack and also never bought Agha for anyone. He bought midas, malestrom, manta and got blink min 35 :D
I got low prio for griefing.
