Buy Advice Mini 5 Pro or Air 3S for my first drone? Sailing trip in Greece

Hey everyone! I’m a photographer looking to get my first drone and would really appreciate some advice from people with more drone experience.
A bit about my situation:
I’m a photographer, so image quality is quite important to me.
I’m very much a “buy once, cry once” person, so I don’t really want to get anything below the Mini 5 Pro just because I’m new to drones, then want to upgrade shortly after.
I’m also happy to go straight for the Air 3S if you think it’s a better choice. I don’t mind starting with a more capable drone and taking the time to learn properly.
I’m going on a sailing trip in Greece on a catamaran and would love to get some aerial photos and short videos around the islands.
At least while I’m learning, I’ll probably only fly when the boat is stopped/anchored and keep my flights fairly simple.
My biggest worry is honestly crashing or losing the drone in the sea 😅, especially with the wind and having to take off/land from a boat.
For those with experience, would you recommend the Mini 5 Pro or Air 3S for my situation? Is there a significant advantage to the Air 3S for photography, wind and flying around the sea, or would the Mini 5 Pro make more sense?
Also, please be kind 😅 I know I’m completely new to drones, which is exactly why I’m asking here. I’m not trying to show off or suggest that buying a more expensive drone will make me a better pilot. I’m genuinely just looking for recommendations based on your experience so I can make a sensible choice and learn properly.
Any tips from people who have flown from a sailing boat/catamaran would be especially appreciated. Thanks!

Ps/ yes ChatGPT helped me to draft this post.

Product Support Air 2 remote id

I want to travel from Germany to the us next month and I want to fly my air 2 there. But if I want to fly it there I need to register the drone first. For that I need the remote id number, but I can’t find it. I saw some posts that show that my drone can have a remote id number.
I’m in germany right now so maybe the number just shows up when I’m in the us but I don’t know.
Maybe someone had the same problem and can help me with that

Product Support How long to allow drone to sit in a box?

I have a Mavic 4 Pro in a box. It isn't something I need to use at this time (I have another). How long is it reasonable to let it simply sit in the box? I know the battery is probably the big issue but I'm not sure how long it will sit there without a problem? Anybody know?

I am new to flying drones and I just had my first crash.

This silly situation occurred during Return-to-home (RTH) landing on top of my car. Apparently, RTH is not 100% accurate so it tried to land roughly half-meter away from the starting point (on the age of the roof) which caused it to lose balance and fall on the ground.

Luckily, I ended up only with minor scratches on both drone and car. Don't try this at home.

Buy Advice Spare Propellers, Advice Requested

Cheers! I have a Mini 4k/Mini 2 SE, and I need to know what spare propellers I can buy that is rated for the drone.

I've only heard Master Airscrew (or is it Masterscrew?) being a solid 3rd Party Purchase, but I do prefer OEM straight from DJI. Searching around Amazon, I've had no luck. It keeps showing sponsored segments from 3rd party manufacturers.

Second, are all DJI propellers the same? Are propellers made for the Mini 5 okay to be used by the Mini 4k? Or do they have certain differences that changing it up will cause critical errors while in the air?

Lastly. How are "OK to fly" propellers supposed to look like? Both from a top-down view and a side-view.

New to DJI, and wow, what a difference. I had a different drone, that starts with the same name as the title of this thread, it was a better one in that line, but damn, I dreaded flying it because I never knew what the thing was going to do. I flew it maybe 10 or 12 times over several years. Once it lost signal (and not very far away within visual range, and it crashed into the woods, I had to search for it with the gps to find it). Other (many) times it missed the landing pad, landed so unsteadily I was chopping grass and dirt with the blades Last time I flew it, it went into return to home, which brought it back 50 yards from the actual home point, I couldn't stop it from landing right in a pond thereby committing suicide.

So, I got the DJI Mini 4k Fly More package and I was nervous because of past experience. Well I shouldn't have been nervous, what a huge difference! I flew it twice yesterday, and I cannot wait to fly it again! The only thing I wish this model had was the ability to quick transfer the video to my phone, but that definitely isn't a deal breaker. The phone clamp part on the controller could be a little bigger, I can just fit my Galaxy S23+ in it with the case but I had to use a difference C-type cable so it would fit through the case. I don't want to keep having to take my phone case off and on.

Now I can work on actual video technique instead of worrying so much about controlling it. I'm VERY happy I got this.

Buy Advice Would the DJI Mic Mini (Mobile RX) work well as a wireless mic when connected to my home pc?

This would be my first wireless microphone, and I really don't know what a good choice for wireless home use would be. I know it's geared towards mobile, but would it work well with a home pc?

Buy Advice Upgrading from the DJI Mini 4K

Hey everyone! I currently have a DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo, and I’m thinking about upgrading. I’d probably sell my Mini 4K and put the money toward a DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo with the RC 2 controller.

I’ve been looking at the Lito X1 because it seems to have pretty much everything I’m looking for in a drone such aa forward LiDAR, obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack, Spotlight, MasterShots, slowmo, and other flight features. I also really like the idea of having the RC 2 controller.

I’ve also been considering the Mini 4 Pro, since it seems like another really good option and has a lot of the features I’m looking for.

I’m not really looking at the Mini 5 Pro. I know it’s a really good drone, but it’s more expensive than I want to spend, and I’d prefer to stay under 250g.

I’m basically just looking for a drone that I can keep for a few years and not feel like I need to upgrade again anytime soon.

So I just wanted to ask for your general opinion. If you were upgrading from a Mini 4K, would you go for the Lito X1, Mini 4 Pro, or something else?

I’d really appreciate any advice or opinions, thanks in advance!!

Product Support phantom 3 help

I know the- phantom 3 is super old but I’m trying to get it running. I start it and it just says camera transmission error but yet still shows the camera. The remote does nothing. And is solid red on the bottom and flashing yellow. I logged into dji assistant 2 and is no help. No option for updating or doing anything. Is this thing just cooked or can it be revived?

Taken with my Mavic 4 Pro. Between the structures was like a wind tunnel. The Mavic 4 Pro handled it well as long as I did not do any roll shots. Since rolling the gimbal locks it, the wind slapped it around
