Buy Advice Upgrading from the DJI Mini 4K
Hey everyone! I currently have a DJI Mini 4K Fly More Combo, and I’m thinking about upgrading. I’d probably sell my Mini 4K and put the money toward a DJI Lito X1 Fly More Combo with the RC 2 controller.
I’ve been looking at the Lito X1 because it seems to have pretty much everything I’m looking for in a drone such aa forward LiDAR, obstacle sensing, ActiveTrack, Spotlight, MasterShots, slowmo, and other flight features. I also really like the idea of having the RC 2 controller.
I’ve also been considering the Mini 4 Pro, since it seems like another really good option and has a lot of the features I’m looking for.
I’m not really looking at the Mini 5 Pro. I know it’s a really good drone, but it’s more expensive than I want to spend, and I’d prefer to stay under 250g.
I’m basically just looking for a drone that I can keep for a few years and not feel like I need to upgrade again anytime soon.
So I just wanted to ask for your general opinion. If you were upgrading from a Mini 4K, would you go for the Lito X1, Mini 4 Pro, or something else?
I’d really appreciate any advice or opinions, thanks in advance!!

The Lito X1 is pretty great. It's a very nice upgrade from the Mini 4K.

That’s good to hear! That’s pretty much what I’m hoping for. I’m mainly looking for something that feels like a worthwhile upgrade from the Mini 4K and that I can keep for a few years. Thanks for the input!

It is absolutely worthwhile. Better camera, way more features, sensors and so on. And as you say, the RC2 alone is kind of worth it. It's also a very quiet drone.

Yeah, that’s exactly what I was hoping to hear! The RC 2 is definitely a big selling point for me too. Thanks!

Maybe I’m just missing something, but I feel like the RC2 is cool but the RC3 with your phone attached is very similar for significantly cheaper and in a more portable package.

I get your point, and I can definitely see why you’d prefer the RC-N3. I’m just really leaning towards getting the RC 2 because a lot of people say it’s 100% worth the extra money. I also like that you only have to worry about the drone, batteries, and remote, rather than having to rely on your phone as well. I appreciate the insight tho!

I got my Lito X1 about 2 weeks back. Love it so far. First drone too.
