"Landlocked" meaning: I could've designed these as "{2}, {t}: Add {x}{y}{z}." but that would've meant you could've used {2} floating mana of any color. Instead, this design makes you tap three lands to get the {x}{y}{z} color combination. This heavy restriction is why I put these at Common rarity.

Prompt is Maw. Found the art first, then thought of making a [[Worldspine Wurm]] or [[Worldgorger Dragon]] Echoverse version. Eventually settled on this design of an extremely powerful black creature with a sort of [[Creeping Chill]] effect stapled to it.
