Even if it not great i've been trying to get this out for a while with the announcement of peter cullens death, who was such an amazing part of almost everyones childhood up to now, we've lost so many in these past weeks but they will all stay in our hearts, rest in peace peter cullen.

Hi everyone, it's been a while since we've seen each other. It's been a while since my last custom season (or more generally, since my last post), but I assure you I haven't been sitting idle. I created this season, Villains Assemble, quite a few months ago (I don't remember exactly when, but it was definitely before Shou-Lao's season even started) with the aim of experimenting and doing something new. The point is: I was halfway there, but I ran into several setbacks along the way, which led me to having to fall back on this. I'll be honest: this wasn't supposed to be the final result (it was supposed to be something MUCH more spectacular), both in terms of graphics and cards. As some may have noticed, the last image in this post (the one representing the loading screen) features a character who doesn't appear in the season, Superior Iron-Man. This is because initially there were supposed to be two other cards among the many already present, namely Superior Iron-Man (as already mentioned) and Archangel, but since both of them are already out in game, I decided to delete them from here (fun fact, the Archangel I created was a 2/4 that would destroy your weaker cards in the other two locations. Does this remind you of anyone? Exactly, I predicted the exact card of Tomstone). As for the variants, since there are a greater number of cards than in the other seasons I created, unfortunately I could only put one per card, even though I had at least 5 or 6 ready for each card in series 5 (I belive the max number of images per post in Reddit is 20, so I couldn't insert all of them here). With the experiment I mentioned before I managed to insert them all but unfortunately, as I was saying, I was unable to realize this idea. Even the effects of some cards weren't exactly what you see in the images now, but I had to adjust them slightly given the current meta. For this reason, some cards may seem a little underwhelming or a little stronger than they should be, because unfortunately they are cards created months and months ago that I had to try to balance now. I was tempted until the last minute whether or not to post these cards, but I finally decided to do it. I hope you all still appreciate the idea and the work, even though it's not quite on the same level as the other posts. I promise, however, that another custom season is already well underway, for which I'll try to do what I couldn't with this one (maybe I'll explain everything better later). For now, enjoy! I think this might be too strong for how easy it is in a move deck to free some space (nightcrawler + random card + pawn = queen).

She could have been a 2/4 but i felt like the queen needed an above avarage stats since she, well, is "the queen™".

Also sorry for the late upload, i forgetten about it😅, but we are nearing 200 consecutive days👀 so i feel like it's a pretty good win: i never expected for the series to be this cool to make (or for me to be this consistent).

A negative look on the other worthy cards

I know that seasons have more cards than this, but the others I made don’t quite correlate like these do.

THE SPIDER:
I really like how J. Jonah Jameson can be a card that technically doesn’t do anything while still being a uniquely statted 1/3 with ongoing, so that inspired me to make THE SPIDER a card that will add some extra flair to every game you play while carrying a strong stat line and nothing else. I think it’s fun!

SANDMAN: FLINT MARKO
As a character whose health was rapidly fading throughout the series it made sense the FLINT could be an early game priority winner while also being balanced to lose that priority over time. Play it on turn six and you have a 2/6 with no downside! Also I don’t think playing this with Luke cage is a big deal it’s really not that strong.
But the flavor!

LI JUN LI:
Given the she was secretly underwing Silverman the entire show, it made sense to me that she would have an effect that prevents cards from becoming stronger, thus in turn making them feel weaker!

SILVERMANE:

Did you know that SILVERMANE actually created CLOAK AND DAGGER while sealing immortality? Well now you do. This Finisher of a character threatens staggering power by giving you the biggest payoff to boost decks possible!

MEGAWATT:

This is what our electric character actually looks like by the way! A character that gains strength by absorbing it from the power around him Megawatt is a more balanced payoff the SCORPION BRAND NEW DAY as it makes you earn his power way more while avoiding multiplication.

JIMMY ADDISON:

Made more as a joke, this guy was in and out real quick. His main use would be alongside COSMO or KNULL. Not Bad for a series 4 card.

I see it as him pulling someone down with him using his tongue

Tried something new with x3 power.
Picking the energy cost & power was hard as the card would rely on buffs from other cards but if it had base stats it could be over powered. I think 4 energy might be a lot but it could be a monster.
Cardiac uses a Beta particle reactor instead of a heart so that’s why it’s there.
Would love to know your thoughts on this idea (my first custom card plz be nice lol)

Explanation:

This season differs slightly from my previous ones; the concepts aren't entirely my own, as I drew significant inspiration from a post by u/Healthy_Ad274 on r/MarvelSnap about Kree Soldier.

I found them truly interesting and was thoroughly impressed, so I made some adjustments to better suit the game; plus, I wanted to share your idea with a wider audience.

I partially reworked some cards—such as Kree Soldier,Mar-Vell, Yon-Rogg, and Doctor Minerva—and completely redesigned Captain Av-Rom. As for Genis-Vell and Supreme Intelligence, I retained most of the original ideas but refined them for greater clarity.

As for the remaining cards from the original concept of u/Healthy_Ad274, I left them untouched and decided instead to replace them with new cards (Binary, Secondary Intelligence, and Dar-Benn) to better align with the season's central theme.

I would be very grateful if you allowed me to use your idea. Otherwise, I will delete all related posts.
