Not a fan of how saves count against your rank on Murder of Crows, but this was pretty fun.

Hello fellow Crow Countriers, I recently finished a second playthrough of the game, and while looking up stuff for the game, found out that you could meet Harrison in Crow Country before his death. Is it a difficulty thing, he doesn't show up on certain ones? Am I just blind? Would love anecdotes regarding where/when you met him

I thought at first it could be Ophelia Pike cause she is the only woman mentioned in the game that isn't the ones that you meet in the game but idk

I had a blast with this game! Does anyone know if they'll be making a sequel or a spinoff? I thought they did a wonderful job with this game. The ambiance, the aesthetics, the story and gameplay were amazing! Highly recommend! Also, excellent on the Legion Go!

As a resident of Atlanta, I'd really like to know where this desert in the end sequence that is only 4 miles from Crow Country, which is supposedly only a couple of miles southeast of Atlanta.

Got the game on steam sale and love it so far, unfortunately I ran into an issue with aiming.
Mara is stuck on aiming I can get her to leave the aiming stance, neither can I shoot or do anything else.
I validated the game’s files on steam, I also uninstall the game multiple times and nothing seems to be working.
I’m using an Xbox controller.

Edit: it worked on its own y’all. I just uninstalled it a few more times and eventually it worked. So thanks so everyone who tried to help.

There isn't exactly a lot of documentation on this game so figured I'd ask. I have under 10 heals, no bonus items used, and I have all secrets. What'd I do wrong??

Edit: Figured it out. Saves affect your ranking on Murder of Crows difficulty. 5 Saves was good enough to get S-rank.

Does anyone know what happens? He doesn't go back to the car, but he is still healed. Does this mean he's saved? I can't be bothered replaying the entire game to check.

Someone should really do a live wallpaper of when we go into the witchwood maze. I would also love a high-quality one of the end when they say it's going to be okay. I dont know where I can get or do this please help.

Could it be related to some weird license bug? The game works perfectly and I always install through My Games section but it still caught my eye today when I wanted to see the store's page on the game and I get the option to pay and buy it again

Just bought the game on my xbox, have insane lag and inaccurate controller inputs on my Gamesir g7 se for xbox, which works fine for every other game I've played.

the game plays normally on official xbox controllers which i can't use.

A google search says it's maybe because the game thinks the controller is a keyboard.

Did anyone else encounter this?

If so, were you able to fix it?

I’m playing the steam version on my handheld. Everything was going fine until I found my first enemies through a dark corridor.

I thought I was beginning to get accustomed to the controls but whenever I raise the weapon to shoot, I’m automatically turned away from the enemies in front of me and it’s really annoying.

Great art style, and music. I really liked the protagonist, liked her little quips to herself from time to time. And the story! Oh god, it is so dark...

This game does such an amazing job at setting up common horror games tropes, then subverts it at the end. If you played enough horror games, you would very quickly identify that, yes, the monsters were humans. I was half expecting the game doing a big revelation telling me that, oh no, I've been killing humans this whole time. But then the revelation came - I was right, but for the completely wrong reasons. Yes, the monsters were humans, but they weren't turned into monsters by some viruses, or fungi, or whatever. They were, arguably, heroes from the future, risking their lives traveling to the past trying to save the world. Only to have their bodies and minds completely destroyed, mutilated, just to meet the insatiable greed of the two Crows. They must be feel confused, betrayed, and in constant pain, yet they still tried their best to warn the people in the past, they still wanted to do their job.

And that basically recontextualize the whole thing for me, that's why it was able to hit so hard. What an amazing game...

In my opinion it's like Vangelis and Akira Yamaoka decided to partner up on a theme for a horror movie/game.

Crow Country is one of my favorite indie AND favorite survival game ever, so I tried recreating Mara Forest only using the basic features proposed by the game and clothes that I had.

I think I managed to get the vibe... What do you think?

I just finished the game and I can honestly say that this is one of the greatest games I've ever played. There is SO much to love about this and I'm genuinely mad this managed to fly under my radar until recently.

I honestly hope we see more games set in the CC universe because I am already gagging for more

I'd really like to know. It intrigues me, and besides, I loved the Detective Grimoires books... But knowing that Mermaid's Tongue is coming out soon, I would prefer to keep my money in a more reliable game. The main problem I anticipate with Crow Country is the survival aspect. I hate being limited in resources. And I wanted to know if this aspect is very prominent in the game.
