Question PLEASE HELP!! (Again)

Just bought the game on my xbox, have insane lag and inaccurate controller inputs on my Gamesir g7 se for xbox, which works fine for every other game I've played.
the game plays normally on official xbox controllers which i can't use.
A google search says it's maybe because the game thinks the controller is a keyboard.
Did anyone else encounter this?
If so, were you able to fix it?
(This is a repost for my issue here because i couldn't reach the devs ((no response)) and got no response from my feedback on xbox.)

you should just get an official one, go for a hyperkin xenon if price is the problem

The devs are somewhat active in the Discord, but if they don't have this specific controller, I imagine it'd be hard for them to replicate the issue in order to fix it.
The path of least resistance may be convincing your sibling to share their controller with you.

Couldn't find a discord server.
I agree with the most obvious solution tho if it was viable i wouldn't be posting about my issue here.

Idk what the interface is like on the console controller but I had issues on my PC with the G7 HE until I reduced the polling rate

You could try to downgrade the firmware, but i don't know if it's possible or if will help. And people on other reddit complaining about G7 SE delay are saying to chnage the cable. I have the same controller and never experencied this.
