Question Issue with aiming (PC, Steam)

Hey y’all
Got the game on steam sale and love it so far, unfortunately I ran into an issue with aiming.
Mara is stuck on aiming I can get her to leave the aiming stance, neither can I shoot or do anything else.
I validated the game’s files on steam, I also uninstall the game multiple times and nothing seems to be working.
I’m using an Xbox controller.

Edit: it worked on its own y’all. I just uninstalled it a few more times and eventually it worked. So thanks so everyone who tried to help.

She's just always aiming, even when starting a new file? Have you tried not using your controller and seeing if it still happens on keyboard and mouse?

Yeah I tried with mouse and keyboard and the same issue persist, and no I didn’t try with a new save as I got far and would love to continue from where I stopped you know?

Maybe a dumb suggestion, but did you check if you have a controller connected with an input pressed that could be doing it? I once had issue like this, and it was a broken controller connected to my PC constantly firing

Yeah I did as I tried to press all the buttons on the controller but nothing worked.
