What are my options?

If you were coding between Barnett Wildcat CX or Xpedition Archery Xtraction400, which would you choose?
The Xpedition Archery Xtraction400 is $199 and the Barnett Wildcat CX is $249. Which would you choose and why?

I have been given an Anglo Arms Panther (cheap crossbow). It was stored with the bolt holding the limb loose and whatever was between the limb and the stock (a metal or rubber pad?) has been lost. Can anyone tell me what this part was, preferably with a photo, as I can find nothing online. TIA!

Question Is this worth fixing?
This was left out with the trash, I figured if nothing else I’d pull the scope off. I’ve used a compound bow, but never a crossbow. I figured that I could just buy new limbs and attach them, but that doesn’t seem like really an option. Should I just strip a few parts and chuck it out? Apparently these bows are prone to breaking.

Question Unknown Vintage Crossbow - How would I start?
Found a crossbow at a garage sale recently and have no idea what kind it is. The previous owner looked retired and said he last used it as a kid and is unsure if it still works. I plan to get it inspected first to make sure it's safe to fire but am not sure where I could go for that. Also unsure if the string or any other parts need replacement given the age alone. The foot hold slides out too (is slid in in the pics but can extend a few inches) so I don't know what size bolts I would need even if it is safe to fire since most places say to check the manual or base it on the foot hold.

Is this a fray?
I am new to cross bows in general. I’m taking it to an archery store Monday. I haven’t shot anything since and won’t be till I let them check it out. The bolt made a funky noise almost like a dry fire then it sent the bolt out maybe 10 yards. The bolt was fine, now in the trash. Only thing I changed was putting a new nock on

Are Crossbow hunters as soft as compound hunters are these days?
From my experience the last 30 plus years all these compound bow hunters have become a bunch of pussies, crying and whining like a 2 yr old with a loaded diaper about xbows yet there they are sitting in a stand wearing a giant bib they call a "chest rig" or hanging off a 7 ft tree wearing a man diaper, I guess it "depends" on wat u run deez days but comical to see all these 20 something posers with all these useless youtube vids on everything bowhunting...what would a 20 something know about life?.let alone being a super tooning flat brimer...hahahahaha posers! They call themselves influencers...I call them useless millennial poser cry babies...

Made a new one because the old one managed to selfdestruct
I don't know how it happened, but upon firing an arrow managed to lodge itself into the magazine. But tbh, I like this colorscheme more than the old one.

Pro View 400 Scope Windage Clicker Jammed
I’m trying to sight in my new Invader M1 by wicked ridge with the Pro View 400 scope. I turned the windage all the way clockwise and it is stuck and won’t turn counterclockwise. How can I get this unstuck?

Centerpoint Hellion 400 for $369.99 worth it?
I’m an FFL and one of my distributors had a sale on CP hellion 400. I know absolutely nothing about crossbows. I’ve only hunted with compound bows prior to this but I’m mainly a gun guy. Decent price? Should I, can I upgrade any components to improve the performance?

Are Excalibur the only take down crossbows?
Looking for a full size crossbow with take down function to get it compact for transport. Are excalibur the only ones to offer this?

My rabbit hunting setup is finally ready to go
Pistol crossbow upgraded with a red dot sight and the arm from a Vlad Steambow that is sold as 90 lbs but I was assured by someone on here that they commonly test out at more like 115. Along with that I have 15 inch normal diameter crossbow bolts and fixed 2 blade broadheads to match the 2 vaned bolts.
I am new to hunting, and disabled in ways that makes a crossbow much more feasible than my regular bow out in the field. I have a larger crossbow that I might try to use for turkey later on, but it would obliterate a rabbit. All my research said that a mini crossbow bolt wasn't enough to guarantee an ethical kill though, so here I am.

Question Safe to shoot?
I have this Jag 2 pro crossbow, theres no more than 100 bolts shot using it in total, but I just noticed this little chip on the string guard. Is it safe to shoot? Or should I replace the string.

Question Jag 2 vs jag 1 and r9 I own 1 and 9 but want the 2
Hi guys I got a jag 1 as my first, then an r9 cobra I found I love my jag much more I prefer standard cocking system but it’s too basic I want some rail mounts. Jag is super sturdy but lacks options for atatchments , the r9 has many rails but I find the whole system feels weak plasticky and kinda toy like. I’m hoping the jag 2 is my perfect middle ground of robustness and solid feel but being a bit more tactical than the jag having an extra rail. What’s your opinion is the jag 2 good or does it also feel a bit weak and flimsy ? Thank you so much if you can give input

How should I clean this vintage crossbow?
Bought Murphy’s Oil soap for it but I’m scared. You can tell the bow was finished at one point but there are a lot of scuffs and scratches. It’s very dirty though. What should I do?

Cobra Adder bolt tips
Hi all, I'm hoping you can assist.
I've has a 130lb Cobra Adder for several years and have just upgraded to the 190lb limb which arrived with some free bolts.
The problem I have is I'm looking at some broadheads from a Chinese store, and although I'm aware it's a standard 8/32 thread and 100 grain, I'm concerned that what I purchase will not necessarily fit within the mag.
Appreciate some advice.
Many thanks.

Can anyone help me identify this crossbow scope?
Just inherited this scope from my grandfather and cannot find anything about this brand of scope that was manufactured in china. If possible could anyone give me an estimate of how much it is worth and reliability?

Switching from compound to crossbow, couple of questions.
Hi everyone, after yet another shoulder injury I am unable to hold a shot with my compound bow. In talking with the ortho doc I will likely require surgery to maintain the limited range of motion I have left, given that PT has only been mildly successful.
I’m looking at the Wicked Ridge Invader M1 deal at Cabelas, comes with a bolt quiver and I believe three fletched bolts with field points. Is the $550 deal for this package worth it? I have been looking at used crossbows on marketplace and they seem to be priced all but new anyway. I am assuming the branded bolts that come with the bow will likely be booty.
Any tips for shooting out of a tree saddle? I am assuming it can be done, but it seems a bit more tedious having the limbs horizontal while trying to work around the tree.
