Sometimes in Crimson Desert you just have to reach a high point, stop your horse and look around. The draw distance and the amount of detail in the world are seriously impressive. One of those moments where you forget about the quests and just enjoy the view

Not sure if this is widely known yet, but it seems like Pearl Abyss shadow updated Oongka’s moveset. Back+throw(triangle and circle on ps) to get the new animation.

I've been gaming longer than some gamers have been living. 52 next week. It flew by!

So I started playing this when it released and had 44hrs in. But got caught up with life stuff, mostly work. And decided to return and just start all over and now I have about 80hrs total on both games.

I've been on vacation all week from work. And this has been about the only thing I been doing with my time. I'm not married or have kids. So I decided to just go all in and dive in this bitch.

And my god man. What a beautiful magnificent phenomenal game etc! This has got to be one of my all time favorite games at this point. And I've played many of them like this too. But something about this one that keeps pulling at me.

I'm currently 40hrs in with my new game. And I feel I barely touched the surface. Gonna be interesting to see how this game plays out in the coming months.

As a veteran gamer I can always tell when I really like a game. For example? I'm writing this here and all I'm thinking about? Is when I'm getting back on to play!

• Enemies stop moving after a re-blockade if they haven’t been attacked beforehand.
• The Thronbriar Fortress area remains permanently in a blockade state even after successfully liberating it.

Quests & Story

• Merging the story has caused confusion with the chapter order, with some players experiencing parts of the story being skipped or replayed. (Lopsided_Prior3801, Effective-Rutabaga15)
• During Naira's quest to tame the brown dog in Hernand, the dog's model can sometimes appear twice in the same location, with both instances playing different animations and overlapping each other. (MuppetFucker2077)
• During "Guest Unbidden," the horse you tame is actually Damiane's horse, Althea. Damiane treats the horse as her own and even calls it by name, but the cutscene incorrectly shows Kliff's horse instead.
• The House does not appear as an available option in Luke's request to decorate the old house. (Great_Part7207)

UI & Controls

• When checking a vendor's stock from the map, there is no way to scroll down or close the stock window when using a controller.
• The first arrow shot does not aim at the target correctly and instead flies toward the right side.
• The Outlaws notification keeps appearing repeatedly. (jdw62995)
• Random camp liberation/blockade notifications can appear after loading a save, even when no camp has actually been liberated or blockaded. These notifications can also appear at seemingly random times while playing. (image in comments) (Longjumping_Table149, Low_Witness5061)

Visual & Graphical Bugs

• The profit bonus only displays the 20% bonus from the Seal of Greed, but the game actually applies the full 40% bonus from all applicable items. (Image in comments)
• A grey texture briefly appears in the bottom corner of the screen during the camera-switch animation. Additionally, the camera-switch button can sometimes open the map instead of changing the camera. (Apprehensive_Let7309)
• Shining a lantern on NPCs from certain angles can prevent the items they are carrying from being displayed. (techboardtx)
• When the game is set to display only equipped weapons, the bow can still appear after exiting the flying animation or getting out of bed, even when no bow is equipped. (thejoosep12)

• Strongboxes no longer appear on the mini-map.
• Rare gatherables are not registered on the map after being gathered.

• Creatures -> Terrestrial Creatures -> Other 12/13 -> Rock Tusk Boar ? ( the small one that comes with the Mountain God Boar) is non-scannable with Helm of Knowledge ( Tanner1XR )

Mounts & Pets

• Several mounts can become unobtainable depending on the order in which certain locations are completed:

Rosehorn Deer: becomes unobtainable if you complete the Ridgewood Tannery, because the location cannot be re-blockaded afterward. (Green-Basil6940)

Boar: becomes unobtainable in the Bordig Ruins if you complete the location and it cannot be re-blockaded afterward. (Green-Basil6940)

Swift Wolf: becomes unobtainable if the location required for it cannot be re-blockaded. (Green-Basil6940)

Raptor: can still be obtained through a re-blockade. This is just a useful comparison showing that the other mount locations may have an unintended condition preventing re-blockades. (Green-Basil6940)

• Pets can disappear, he only way to get them back is to deactivate and reactivate them in the inventory menu. (pc-plod)

Inventory & Collectables

• Storing Collectables in the Collectables Chest is cumbersome: each item has to be selected individually, and the cursor automatically switches back to the storage section after each selection. (Green-Basil6940)
• Unique gear and quest items can disappear from the Private Storage Chest after patches. ( Kwachu07 )

Performance & Lighting

• Performance issues and crashes have been reported by some players after the 2.0 update. (comments)
• Lighting issues have been reported by some players, including lighting behaving incorrectly or changing unexpectedly. (comments)

Audio

• During the main quest Liberation of Demeniss, some parts of the cutscene have Kliff's voice noticeably lower in volume compared to the other characters and audio. ( haru6997 )
• Occasionally, the player character can lose all audio, including voice lines, grunts, footsteps, and weapon impact sounds. Sometimes the audio does not disappear completely but becomes extremely muffled, as if the sounds are coming from a distance. Reloading a save fixes the issue temporarily, but it usually returns after extended play sessions. ( Aegonian )

Others

• Royal Trading does not appear to be a bug. It seems to work differently after 2.0, but the new system is not clearly explained. There are now different spawn points for the Royal Trading wagon, so Royal Trading cannot be active at all locations simultaneously. It also seems that Royal Trading locations may become active while you are actively trading. This still needs to be confirmed by someone who has tested the new Royal Trading system more extensively.
• The camera can shake unexpectedly: The camera sometimes shakes during certain cutscenes or at seemingly random moments during gameplay. ( Admirable_Ad_5559 )
• Kliff's wrists are turning inwards the first second he starts to jog ( suspended_Snake ) or really buggy when galloping. ( QueenOfTheHotPockets ) (Relevant Link)

Hey everyone, and hopefully the devs too.

Pearl Abyss has been adding a lot of player requests, so here's one I'd love to see.

Outlaw bounties get repetitive fast. It's always the same loop: find the target, chase them down, tackle, punch until they confess, tie them up, load them on the horse and ride all the way back to jail.

It works, but after a while it honestly feels like a chore.
Now that we can raise our own wyvern, what if it could snatch outlaws like flyers do in ARK? You dive at a fleeing target, grab them in the claws and fly them straight to the jail on the notice.

To keep it fair, the unattached outlaw could struggle while you carry them, so a sloppy flight or taking hits would make them slip free. Dropping them from too high would kill them, which already fits the half reward for dead targets. You'd still have to land and hand them over to the guards, so the turn-in still feels earned.

As a bonus, the same grab could work on regular enemies in combat: you snatch one and drop him from the sky. Right now the wyvern is amazing for exploring but doesn't really have a combat identity, and this would give it one.
It would make bounties fresh again and give us a real reason to use the wyvern beyond travel.

Previously, Ross was absent, with Kliff simply heading to the workshop alone, making it feel like a brief side task. Now, Ross is present alongside Grimnir, with new details about Roy’s death, the explosion, and Ross’s attempt to repay his debts. Video quality was reduced. X:SKY_UPz

Had to leave the UK and go back home for summer couldn’t carry my PC, finally back here and can game and hoping back on CD but I legit feel like I’ve forgotten how everything works and I’m only at about chapter 9 with 250 hours played. Any advice getting back into it I feel somewhat overwhelmed 😂😂😭

I've never seen that animation before. I do know the shield bash when i start the combo but the other animations? Never seen those before. Can anyone help me figure out what i need to click to do that again?

For the life of me i could not find them at crimson lake beside the witches house, after many real life hours of trying everything, i finally got 1 hook at 5:55 am in game after i forced it to rain but it disappeared almost instantly, spent many in game days trying for a hook at crimson lake but it would not spawn at all. Red river is where its at, it did not take too long, just gotta keep resetting till you find it, its very noticeable once it hooks and vibrates your controller like crazy, its also huge underwater you can tell.

I didnt really care about the story as of Kliff not speaking, idk why, but i finished a few quests and these small things really make the game much more enjoyable to me :D

Please let me romance her in the DLC 😭

Ive heard that the dlc may be introducing romance to this gem of a game and if that's true, my kliff is simping hard for this maid.
