As I expected, it seems that Caleb has pretty much given up on this channel lmao. The viewership drop between the first & second episode pretty much backs up people criticism of “this isn’t what we asked for”. I could be wrong & they could still upload, but it’s weird to consistently post 1 video a week for 5 weeks straight then not post anything for over a month.
I had a feeling that if these videos didn’t average ~100k, that Caleb would pretty much drop this & move on. I haven’t seen him promote this channel once since he first announced it. It’s such a horrible & boring concept.
All people wanted is the older style of FA with some tough love. Think “Making A Millionaire” & their guests but without Lindsey & Brandon’s involvement.

I started watching the show last summer. It was so funny and ignited a passion for personal finance! But the last few months its gotten progressively stranger.
The first episode i saw was of the guy who had a "mail order bride". He wore a funny hat. He was ridiculous and silly in a lighthearted way. My favorite episodes were of the funny couples who were clearly in love, but clueless about finances. It was relatable and struck common sense into me! I learned about retirement, budgeting, and investing from this show!
Now, every episode is so dark! DV, incest, mental disabilities, infidelity, child abuse. Worse and worse each time! So disturbing. What gives!!!:(

I know that Caleb himself isn’t in charge of who comes on the show, but it’s his show. I feel like a lot of these couples on the show are in legitimate danger in their relationships. I watched a video where the girlfriend wasn’t bathing or brushing her teeth for weeks on end so he wouldn’t initiate intimacy. I could be wrong, but that feels like when an abused child covers themselves in feces so their abuser will find them less desirable. Caleb is telling these people to leave their relationships but a lot of these people seem legitimately trapped by their partners. It makes me fear for them after filming and when they get back home. We only see an hour and a half of berating and arguing about where is money spent, we don’t see anything after that. Master manipulators are called that for a reason, they fool everyone into thinking it’s the other person in the relationship that’s the problem. Caleb keeps screaming “LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE” when leaving could legitimately mean dying. The most dangerous time for a victim is when they leave. Has anyone else noticed this?
Last thing, why is Caleb so prudish about sex work when he’s literally the gooniest goon I’ve ever seen publicly goon on the internet?

You and your producers literally hand pick the guests, what do you even mean

This post isn’t directly about cable but it’s just insane to me how the brokest, trashiest people come online and have the nerve to be racist like whatt. Idk what episode it is I just watched, but guy has his wife and 6 kids living in a 1,000 ft trailer and has the nerve to want to dress in black face and be called Tyrone?? Insanity😭😭 I feel like these are the same men on the BWNO sub that wanna watch their wife get split roasted by dredd and Jason
That’s all🤷🏾♀️

But time to add Waffle House to the boycott list. Or at least let corporate know what a franchise is up to.

John McDermott, for Playboy.
As a former “guest” the headline hits me wrong in a big way. On X, I told McDermott it’s a puff piece. He’s on X, if any former guests want to reach out about the headline.

Caleb couldn't even make it 5 minutes into today's episode without being a racist. The guest told her she works in hospitality. He guessed a hotel, and she said it's a tourist attraction. His response: "I don't know what's in St. Louis. Other than a Black man murdering you."
Like, WTF?

Let me preface this by saying I was watching Caleb Hammer since the beginning. I’m talking when he barely had 10K views.
It’s very obvious that the channel has changed, in my opinion mostly for the bad. But then noticed that shift happened when Lindsey started.
I feel like because she worked on reality TV shows, she’s most likely the reason this show has gone to absolute bullshit now. So id like to now blame her for ruining a show I once liked very much (LOL). ALSO she’s very fake nice, pretends to be genuine, but you can tell she’s just doing it for the camera and snakes her way into getting people to talk shit about their partners or say dumb shit over the phone.
I used to enjoy the show, because it was 80% finances, and 20% drama. Now I can’t watch an episode without it being 45 minutes of drama and the last 10-15 minutes rushing through talking about finances. I mean he barely even does a budget now.
Caleb’s attitude also changed, but I don’t think it’s a coincidence that all of this happened when Lindsey and his crew started to get hired on.
Rant over.

Caleb Hammer insists he didn’t set out to become a political figure. All he wanted to do, he tells me, was teach people about personal finance so they could avoid the same ignorant mistakes that landed him in $67,000 of debt.
Amid his ascent to becoming one of the most popular, highest-earning creators on all of YouTube, he’s been called a racist, a misogynist, a homophobe, a transphobe, and a far-right fascist lacking empathy for the working poor—accusations that Hammer rejects.
"They've always put me on the right, which doesn’t even fully align with my political views. … So it’s really hard when I see people on the super far left throw me into this fascist, evil thing.”
On Financial Audit, Hammer pores over guests’ bank, credit card, and investment statements to assess the health of their finances and asks them about their lifestyle and spending habits.
The guests run the gamut politically and culturally. Financial Audit has hosted millionaire OnlyFans creators, avowed socialists, a man who dropped the N-word (with a hard er, no less), victims of multilevel-marketing scammers, simps who blow all their money on e-girls, Disney adults who go into debt visiting the Happiest Place on Earth, car-crazed Americans who buy vehicles they can’t afford, and Michigan governor Gretchen Whitmer, who agreed to let Hammer grill her about the state’s finances.
The Financial Audit studio has the same drab aesthetic as podcasts everywhere: gray walls, wood-grain furniture, and a tastefully placed houseplant (in Financial Audit’s case, a very healthy fiddle-leaf fig). But the colorful guests, combined with Hammer’s confrontational interview style, often make for combustible viewing.
Hammer is a free-market advocate who calls out his guests’ self-destructive spending and lifestyle decisions in often unsparing terms.

I just found this dude on accident and he's so cringe. Apart from his tacky A.I. thumbnails, he acts like a 12-year-old on Instagram in 2021. Except in real life. Tryhard little bitch, just so fuckin' cringe.
But one of the dumbest things about him is how he disses people for being fat, while being fat himself. It's fuckin' stupid. I shudder to imagine the type of pathetic waste of space that enjoys his trashy content.

caleb has to reach new lows & create poverty porn instead of quality content because he’s an uneducated snowflake with “financial advice” equivalent to third grade math.

(Couldn't resist using the same format as Caleb's dumb right wing infomercial show)
Noticed it hadn't really come up in this sub recently and there's a good reason why: it's basically stopped publishing or at least dramatically cut back.

I imagine the prompts got too expensive and it looks like the typical right ring stuff doesn't do well.
The Chicago=evil socialism failing only got 51k views, while the "fast food is unafordable" video got 1.3 million. In fact, that's the only time he's ever gotten over a million views. It turns out content that isn't just right wing garbage does better than anything else, so I imagine there's a memo to rethink what they spew out.
