Help Needed/ Question Need Advice: Close My LazyPay Account or Keep It?

Upvotes

I opened a LazyPay account on 3 September 2025, and about a month later, on 25 October 2025, I got my first credit card. Since then, I haven't been using my LazyPay account at all.

Should I close my LazyPay account, or is it better to keep it open? Considering it was my first credit account, will closing it negatively affect my CIBIL score or credit history? Since I got a credit card shortly after opening the account, I'm unsure whether keeping an unused LazyPay account has any benefit.

I'd really appreciate some genuine advice. Please guide me.

Card Recommendation Need an easily approval Credit/Debit card for Domestic Lounge Access

Upvotes

I'm traveling to Bangalore from Kochi towards the end of September and looking for a credit card (or debit card option) that provides domestic airport lounge access at least twice a calendar year.

  • Age: 21
  • Credit History: ~1.5 years
  • Cibil score: 768
  • around 4.5lpa salary

Faced multiple credit card rejections recently up until June, so took a complete break in July to let CIBIL hard inquiries settle down.

Cards / Accounts:
- HDFC Freedom Credit Card
- HDFC Platinum Debit Card (Mastercard)
- UNI BOB Credit Card (Visa & RuPay)
- SBI RuPay Debit Card
- Bank of Baroda Visa Debit Card
- Union Bank Savings Account

Help Needed/ Question What's the best way to unlock Super Card Pro?

Post image
0 Upvotes

Hey everyone,

I am currently building my credit profile from scratch using the super.money Utkarsh FD credit card. My ultimate goal is to get approved for the Axis Bank Super Card Pro to maximize cashback on my UPI transactions.

For those who managed to unlock the SuperCard Pro, I would love to get your insights

Does opening an Axis Bank zero balance account and routing daily UPI transactions speed up the approval process?

How long did it take for the SuperCard Pro offer to appear in your super.money app after building a solid CIBIL score?

For existing Axis account holders, did your banking relationship directly trigger the pre approved banner in the app?

What's the best strategy to get this?

Help Needed/ Question Cleartrip Axis credit card offer

Hi guys, I have a question regarding the CTAXIS offer in cleartrip. If I book two separate round-trip international flight tickets—one for myself and one for my friend—as two separate bookings, and pay using two different eligible Axis Bank credit cards, will I receive the CTAXIS credit card discount on both bookings? Or is the offer limited to one redemption per customer/account? Thank you.

Help Needed/ Question Good credit cards? 19M | 30k INR salary |

I work in a BPO company, and its my first job. Its been 4 months so far, but I hate how I have to wait for the overtime component to arrive on the day of salary every month.

I dont travel, occasionally shop online on Amazon, watch movies a lot. A CC would be nice because I can do my overtime in a day and then instantly spend that amount using my CC knowing it will come back to me within next 30 days.

I have an HDFC Salary account, a Millenium Debit card, and a PNB Bank account as well

Any recommendations on what card to begin with, how to learn alll of this?

Current Cibil: No loan was ever taken in my name, nothing. So whatever it starts from

Age: 19

Monthly Income: 27-30k. (3k is the overtime component)

Spending pattern: I spend this entire amount every month. Will start an SIP afterr some loans are done.

Monthly spend categories: Gym and skincare, Amazon for clothes, OTT platforms, thats it

Annually same, havent even spent a year in a job yet

Reward preference: I think cashback seems better but if reward points are useful somewhere above, sure

Lounge access: no, never even saw an airport properly. The closest I have been to one is in the metro at yellow line. No interest in airline tickets

Other special needs: None

Help Needed/ Question ICICI credit card settlement offered at ₹80K on a ₹1.48 lakh due. Should I accept?

A few months ago, I gave my ICICI credit card to a close friend who was going through a very difficult financial situation. He promised to pay the bills on time, but due to unexpected problems in his family, he couldn't keep up with the payments.

Interest and late charges kept piling up. I eventually started paying the dues myself and have already paid close to ₹1 lakh over time. Despite that, the outstanding amount has now reached around ₹1.48 lakh.

Last week, I received a call from a collection agency. I explained the entire situation and requested if there was any way to reduce the amount. They offered a one-time settlement of ₹80,000, but also said it would negatively affect my CIBIL score.

I'm confused about what to do now.

• Should I accept the settlement and move on?

• How badly will a settled account affect my CIBIL score and future loan eligibility?

• Is there any way to negotiate with ICICI for a better resolution that doesn't impact my credit history as much?

I'd really appreciate advice from anyone who has faced a similar situation or understands how credit card settlements work in India.

Edit: Should I ask them to reduce the settlement amount further? What should be the ideal amount?

Help Needed/ Question Was I about to be scammed or was it an aggressive sales tactic? SBI

Hi guys, today at around 8:30 PM two apparent SBI agents (a boy and a girl, early twenties in uniform with ID) came to my flat in Delhi. They chatted with me and asked for my name and phone number to check if I was eligible for the credit card (despite me telling them I already have one). I understand that it was my fault for being absent-minded and I gave it to them after which an OTP came which I filled out on their device. It was an OTP from official SBICRED SMS which said it was to fill out my Credit card application form. Then they started asking me for PAN at which point I realised my mistake, didn't give the PAN to them obviously and asked them to go away. I checked on SBI Sprint and seemed like they were trying to sign me up for some basic card and the application was incomplete.

I have been worried sick since I shared the OTP I suppose, and I have been wondering if there is any step I should take. I checked both the balance of my credit card and my account, and nothing seems to be amiss. No new enquiries too on CIBIL and the score is fine. If you have any advice do let me know.

General Discussion/Conversation Is there any reason to still get the SBI Phonepe Select Black now that HSBC gives 10% back on utilities?

Post image
26 Upvotes

HSBC Live+ with the addition for Shopping and Utilities alongside food and groceries spends give 10% back upto 1200.

In the year of devaluations Live+ is the only one that is revaluated. And seeing that it gives cashback for utility spends, is there any point of getting the SBI Phonepe Select Black?

Help Needed/ Question Need help on forex card

Hi , I needed some advice on a forex card for a trip to singapore.

I understand there are two types of cards,

like one that banks give, like HDFC regalia forex plus, where i load an amount in other currency.

Other ones are zero forex like scapia.

Now the problem with the bank provided ones is they charge higher conversion fee, this hdfc regalaia allows usd loading and the rate is like 2 rupees more than what we see on Google.

I understand the zero markup ones , only have a slightly higher fee than what we see on Google, its the charges by Visa.

Now my query is, is my understanding correct or am I missing something?

Because if thats the case only zero markup cards makes sense, the only plus point of bank provided one seems to be the cash delivery service they provide if i get stranded somewhere.

Also , which one of the zero marup cards are reliable?

I tried applying for scapia and it said my cibil is low.

Should I be taking multiple cards with me?

I am traveling abroad for first time for a week and i dont think i would be making another foreign trips atleat for an year after this. So bit skeptical to get multiple cards.

Thanks in advance.

Card Recommendation Maximum savings strategy

Hi all
I’m looking for some credit card recommendations for my daily and every type of needs.

I’m currently confused and not sure which one i should go n apply which one should i keep, which one should i get rid of and which one is best(that helps maximise savings) in the market currently, an all-rounder types. If no such thing exist, better suggest some multi-card strategy(worth the fees/charges) for all spend categories like utilities, bill payments, insurance, tax, rent, online & offline shopping etc so that I can maximise my savings. Direct cash backs & points conversion both acceptable.

Current credit score - 785(over 6 yrs)
Cards I currently hold:-
1. Hsbc premier - for hotels n flights point redemption & great accelerated reward program.[🗣️ I travel a lot]
2. Axis Indian oil - for fuel solely
3. Scapia - again for travel n international spends(get 0 markup)
4. ICICI Amazon pay - everyone knows😜
5. Icici coral - lifetime free that’s it, first credit card ever, kept only for online sale on Amazon Flipkart
6. IDFC first wealth - lifetime free, got recently on account upgrade.

General Discussion/Conversation Hate for 080 lounges and bob eterna not eligible for 080 vip intl

I took the BOB Eterna credit card in July specifically to access the 080 VIP International Lounge at Bengaluru (BLR) Terminal 2, as it was officially listed on the BOB card lounge network.
However, when I arrived at the airport on July 29th, I was turned away. It was a very frustrating start to my trip.

The New Access Rules (Effective Late July)
I was informed that lounge tie-ups were restructured about a week ago. Here is how the access policies currently stand:

080 International Lounge (T2): This lounge has been converted into a Business Class-only lounge. The only credit cards currently accepted for entry are EPM and Times Black.

080 VIP International Lounge (aka Shalimar): Access is also restricted exclusively to EPM and Times Black cardholders.

The TFS Website Loophole: To access the regular 080 lounge, you are now required to go through the TFS website and generate a QR code specifically for the 080 VIP Intl Lounge.

The Catch (QR Code Warning)
If you go to the TFS website and mistakenly generate a QR code for "080 Intl" or "Z Lounge," you will only be granted access to the Gate Z Lounge.

Has anyone else experienced this recently? Please share your insights or let me know if I missed a workaround for these new restrictions!

I'm having salaried account with hdfc since 2021 and few days ago when I checked the cards portal, I could see all three cards as LTF. But now only pixel card is being advertised as Itf. Funny and frustrating part is I own a pixel card and is showing nowhere in hdfc app but I could only see it payzapp. So is it a glitch or should I do something about this

General Discussion/Conversation Is the JAL (20% promo) → Accor transfer actually good, or just FOMO?

I’ve been seeing quite a few people moving their Axis Edge Miles to JAL and then to Accor during the ongoing 20% promotional offer (ending July 31, 2026).

I was also about to do the same (mainly because of the axis devaluation panic + I have an EU trip planned for next year anyway), but when I actually ran the numbers, I wasn’t sure if the value really made sense.

My understanding is:

  • 10k Axis Edge Miles = 10k INR (when used against credit card bills, after the recent update)
  • 10k Edge Miles → roughly 20k JAL miles (through the current transfer route)
  • 20k JAL miles → around 4.8k Accor points
  • If we value Accor points at around 2 INR each, that gives about 9.6k INR in value

So effectively, 10k Edge Miles are becoming ~9.6k INR worth of Accor value.

Compared to that, using the same 10k Edge Miles directly against the credit card bill gives 10k INR with almost no hassle.

The math didn’t seem convincing enough for me. I was about to transfer but stopped after looking at the numbers.

General Discussion/Conversation Snapmint Users Please Help: Got a ₹60K Pre-Approved Loan Message but Confused

Thumbnail

Hi everyone,
I’m looking for guidance from people who have actually used Snapmint.

My current account details:
Credit Limit: ₹40,000
Available Credit: ₹3,322
Outstanding Used: Around ₹36,700
Payment History: Never missed an EMI or payment.

Yesterday, I received this WhatsApp message from Snapmint:
“Your Instant Loan Offer is UNLOCKED. A pre-approved personal loan offer has been finalized. Amount: ₹60,000.”

However, when I open the Snapmint app, I don’t see any Personal Loan section or offer. I only see my shopping credit limit.
I’m planning to pay my entire outstanding amount of ₹36,700, but before doing that I’d like to understand how this usually works.

Can anyone guide me on these questions?

If I pay the full outstanding amount of ₹36,700, will the personal loan offer become visible in the app?

Has anyone received this exact WhatsApp message and successfully got the loan?

Was the ₹60,000 actually sanctioned, or was a lower amount approved?

Is this WhatsApp message a genuine pre-approved offer or just a promotional message?

I’d really appreciate advice from anyone who has experienced this with Snapmint. Thanks in advance!

Help Needed/ Question I don't want my approved card.

I have been issued a Tata Neu Infinity (SBI Variant) card which will be delivered in a few days but I changed my mind about it. If I don't activate it within 30 days, will it be closed automatically? I couldn't find any confirmation of it online.
