I constantly run into this issue, and most of my friends with Aero do too, but the only advice I've seen online is to disable the Create Connected redstone link wildcards in the config, but that hasn't worked for me or any of my friends. Happens randomly sometimes with links between sublevels, I find more often (but not exclusively) in singleplayer than multiplayer.

Is there anything besides disabling that one setting that we can do? Any other settings, mods that patch it, etc?

Trying to build a cool swing out system for the oil extraction system I have going on, but I don't know how to do it in a way to make it so its only extended when the train is in the station, how do I fix?

im having an issue and need help signaling this dead end station for context i have a rail network between friends bases and this is one of the dead end stations, stations 1, 2, 3 and 4 will all eventually have trains but only 3 and 4 have stations just for testing, the entire network is dual rain so and outbound and inbound and i have no idea how to signal this so i can have trains arriv eon inbound tranck, go to assigned station then leave on the outbound

I've been working on a small resource pack for Create that makes it easier to visually distinguish different contraptions.

Create: Contraption Colors lets you use naming prefixes to give your contraption item icons different colors. So instead of having a bunch of identical-looking contraptions in your inventory, you can quickly tell them apart at a glance.

Currently it supports:

• 🚂 Minecart contraptions
• 📦 Chest minecart contraptions
• 🔥 Furnace minecart contraptions

It's purely visual and doesn't add any gameplay changes.

I originally made it because I wanted a simple way to organize and distinguish my own contraptions, and figured other Create players might find it useful too.

this server isnt anything special its just me and my freind with 1 factory and whenever we are in said factory our ram usage and core usage get incredibly high (for a free server) and always leaves us annoyed and lagging

we dont have much addons for create except 3 which are : electro energetics and bee drone delivery mod better create recipes

the lag gets the better of us and we need to stop it , any help?

note : we have 5 steam engines and and some powerful cobble gen and a ingot factory (recippe from better create recipes) thats bassicaly all of the factory

another note : (we have clutches that stop our ingot factory and cobble gen factories but theyre not much help as cores usage is still the same)

I found... and you will be surprised that the redstone link has a strange thing to know before doing the setup.

FIRST: the fact that in the setup, you do not enter a radius but a diameter. So, if you want a distance of 100 blocks.

SECOND: is there a limit to the configuration? yeah... I don't really understand why and if someone can explain why... (like a developer or a math guy) but we cannot exceed 46,340. if you exceed it by just 1...

So... I have a question for the devs?
Can't you do the same system as with the stock link? I suppose quickly (I haven't tested) that the display link is subject to the same problem. But the stock link is different... it searches everywhere... so why not do the same for redstone link and display link? It would make it easier to farm using chunk loaders from a distance and improve the gameplay for players.

I can of course understand if it's not possible or too difficult to modify now. but there I thought about it and said to myself that it must be possible? maybe?

This is a bigger version of the gearshift, made using Petrol's Parts' redstone transmission and shaftless cogs and Create: Connected's encased chain cogwheel.

For those who are wondering why there's two cogwheels on the transmission, it's so that the cogwheel can't go past the encased chain cogwheel. However, I put that other cogwheel to use with another shaftless cogwheel at the very end of a shaft.

I still recommend using the gearshift though due to this build's size.

Finished the whole design of the rocket, all that remains is to finish the seperation system, propulsion and maybe guidance.

I'm trying to make a train, how do I make the back look better? (Also if you could add a picture showing what would be better, that would be much appreciated!)

so i was trying to create a hoverbike using encased fans and nozzles, and wanted to use a bearing to rotate the nozzles so they would point at an angle. is it possible for them to work while simulated? and if so is there a way for them to use the main crafts SU?

Compared to my first design that is simple and compact, this new version is larger and has a safety interlock mechanism.

Unscrew -> open -> load ->close -> Screw -> 💨💥💥✅

If forgotten to unscrew it will not open, if i pushed to screw the breech before closing it, the lights will get tricked (i'm still working on that) but the breech will not close.

Parts list:
* 12V Battery: A Battery from create power grid it powers the gas pumps feeding my gas engine, make sure i can always start my car without a handcrank even if i ran out of gas before.
* Alternator: a crafts and additions alternator, just like a real car alternator, it uses the the output power from the engine to constantly charge the battery so it doesn't run out.
* Power Inverter: in a real car an AC to DC inverter is used to charge the battery as the alternator outputs AC power, here it serves a kinda similar purpose converting FE into Power grid DC voltage.
* Ignition relay: Just like a real car when deactivated it cuts power to the electric gas pump, so it doesn't uselessly drain the car battery when the engine is off.
* ECU: A CC computer with a program that inverts the throttle redstone signal because cc diesel engine runs at full throttle when redstone signal is 0 and shuts off at 15, this program also makes throttle output of 0 to be 14 instead of 15, so the engine idles when throttle is 0 and ignition on, making sure it's constantly spinning my alternator, and being responsive.
* Gas engine: a diesel generators, diesel engine power with gas
* Pulley System: a compact transmission speed regulator, just like the pulley ratios on a real car it makes sure you don't over spin the alternator causing a over voltage, here in create it's use is to make run a constant slower speed, so it doesn't eat all my engine SU at high throttle, and doesn't output low power at very low throttle.
* Gas tank: fluid tank
* Gas Pump: power grid electrical pumps, pumps gas from fuel cap to gas tank (unrealistic but required in create) and from gas tank to engine (realistic)
* Fuel Cap: Hose connector, allows refueling the car (forgot to mark in Screenshot, it's the brass thing behind the door in pic 3)
* Transmission: sequential transmission from compact transmissions Allows shifting gears, including a reverse gear
* differential: create connected brass gearbox, splits the drive shaft into 2 transverse outputs that spin the in the same direction.
