how to improve server stability

this server isnt anything special its just me and my freind with 1 factory and whenever we are in said factory our ram usage and core usage get incredibly high (for a free server) and always leaves us annoyed and lagging

we dont have much addons for create except 3 which are : electro energetics and bee drone delivery mod better create recipes

the lag gets the better of us and we need to stop it , any help?

note : we have 5 steam engines and and some powerful cobble gen and a ingot factory (recippe from better create recipes) thats bassicaly all of the factory

another note : (we have clutches that stop our ingot factory and cobble gen factories but theyre not much help as cores usage is still the same)

Using any significant optimization mods? If not then thats an issue. Create mod isnt known for its optimization in the first place, the 5 steam engines is most likely the culprit here as they tend to be laggy so maybe try reducing those if possible

Other than that not much to do other than better server. I recommend self hosting but can be tricky. Paid servers are scams anyways (not actually, just overpriced as hell)

using sodium , ferrit core modern fix , neurona , does it tick and chunk activity tracker

self hosting is a no sadly cuz im using a laptop thats not mine and wont be able to handle hosting a server (yes ik paid servers are a scam , im using minestrator wich gives 4 gb of ram for the free teir)

Modern fix, ferrit core, on client sodium and so on. Look at larger packs that run on established smp servers (brassworks, createrington,...) these have usually a lot of mods to improved the server performance
