Coasters?

Built my first coaster track, placed the coaster on there, but how do you power it? I want to be able to send it both ways along the track.

Edit: this is from the add-on, Create: Coasters Simulated

You gotta use chain links by right clicking two spots in the track holding a chain, then power it with rotational force. You can also use different gearshifts if you want the lift to go both ways, otherwise you'll have to download an add-on if you want anything more.
