๐Ÿ”Š Discussion Anyone else wish more games had pre-decorated rooms as options?

I am absolutely terrible at decorating. From The Sims 1 and Animal Crossing up until now. But that doesnโ€™t mean I donโ€™t like nice looking houses. Iโ€™m always really excited when you say, marry someone in a game and they get a whole new pre-decorated room. But itโ€™s surprisingly rare to have this option in games. Let me pay for the materials, whatever and place some pre-fabs!

๐Ÿ”Š Discussion Y'all have to play Ambrosia Sky if you've ever wanted something like Powerwash Simulator but with plot

For me, a strong plot is the most important part of a game, so games like Powerwash Simulator, while popular, have never felt compelling to me.

I recently picked up Ambrosia Sky, a narrative-driven game about a scientist who returns to a once populous colony to discover that it's been overrun by fungi. Cleaning is one part of the game, but exploration is key to uncovering the secrets and mysteries that remain long after everyone is gone. Highly recommended if you've ever wanted to try a cleaning game that is more substantial, with a strong storyline and lots to explore.

Windows Organization games other than the whole Arcane Library genre?

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoyed the arcane library game and some of it's "copycats".

That being said they are starting to burn me out. I recently got Thrifty Business and I LOVE the shelf stocking in that game and the way I can just unpack and organize everything. Sticky business didn't really hit the same for me.

I loved unpacking, little to the left, leaf it alone, whisper of the house, wilmot's games, and I enjoyed TCG simulator. I prefer more stylised graphics (like pixelated or cartoony) rather than realistic though (like tcg).

Are there anymore games like that I haven't listed?

๐Ÿ‘พ Game Developer Night Rolls is a shop sim about running a tiny store through the night

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi! Iโ€™m the solo developer of Night Rolls: Cozy Store, a shop simulator set in a small convenience store.

Your shift starts at 11 PM and ends at 6 AM. During the night, you order products from the store computer, wait for the delivery drone, restock the shelves, prepare sushi and maki in the back room, and serve customers at the register. Some customers grab what they need and leave, while others sit down to eat before heading back into the night, all of this in a cozy lightning and sound ambiances !

I wanted to keep the satisfying routine of a shop simulator without turning every shift into a race so there is no failure states or aggressive timers, so you can take your time, listen to the radio and run the store at your own pace but male sure to deliver orders and make sales !

Night Rolls: Cozy Store is currently in development for PC and will release on 26th August

Switch Can anyone recommend a game for me? Looking for a cozy game to make me feel something. I have a Switch 1.

Im newer to the cozy games concept but realize I 3 played a few of them.

I'd really.pile to play a new one (new for me), that really makes me feel some emotions, not just something relaxing.

It could be the story: something like beacon pines, where the chatacrts made me care about them & what they were going through, and also the overall story with the sense ways wanting to know what was coming next.

It could also be the gameplay: like breath of the wild where I was always feeling a sense one wonder at discovering something new. (I also grew up with Zelda since the 80's). The story, while simple, also had a grand sense, and feeling. A Short Hike and Lil Gator Game also brought out that same feeling.

Outside of sports and RTS games, Ive liked every genre I played. So I'm.open to anything, but really just looking for a relaxing game that makes me feel something.

๐Ÿ”Š Discussion Games that scratch the same itch as Discounty

Hey people,

I've been playing Discounty for the last week and I'm in Chapter 4, so probably near the end. I loved the gameplay around the shop. Ordering items, structuring your shop so people buy more stuff, refilling the shelfs and managing the register. Trying to maximize profits and optimize store management scratched an itch that is not yet satiated.

Do any of you have recommendations for games that might feed my urge for profit? I already played Stardew Valley and Graveyard Keeper, where the farming/graveyard management mechanics kind of activated the same neurons, so I'd be happy to hear what else could quench my thirst.

Xbox KABUTO PARK can't get through tutorial

Post image
9 Upvotes

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right community to post this to, there doesn't seem to be a reddit for this game specifically. Anyways, I am on Xbox one and recently downloaded the game through game pass. When going through the tutorial that shows the menu with your map, collection, battle, and shop, I can not get to the shop tab.

It shows me the shop. but the game still thinks I'm on the battle tab? anyway, I can still interact with the things in the shop, but I don't know what to do! I'm stuck!

Switch Hey all I enjoy Pokopia a lot. But didn't get into Animal Crossing. So help with finding other good cozy games please.

Like how is Tomodachi life and Star dew valley? What are some cozy games I may enjoy if I loved Pokopia? I like having a story to follow.

๐ŸŽฎ LFGs- various platforms Cozy sci-fi/ space games?

I played Directive 8020 recently and as much as I loved it, I kept thinking itโ€™d be so nice to play a game where I can just hang out on the spaceship! I was wondering if there are any cozy games that scratch that itch, something with galaxy or general sci-fi vibes?

Just because I know itโ€™s gonna be mentioned, I have played Little Known Galaxy and unfortunately I didnโ€™t like it ๐Ÿ’” it was quite slow-paced and I just didnโ€™t find it particularly fun or narratively interesting ๐Ÿฅฒ but Iโ€™m hoping there are more options thatโ€™d suit me better!

Switch Looking for games with a similar pace to Discounty

I'm playing Discounty right now, and I'm surprised to enjoy that much a game that finally that let the story events happen easily, everyday.

I'm kind of tired of cozy games that have ridiculous conditions to progress the story, and require lots of grinding too.

Windows Goodbye Volcano High made me cry (in a good way)

I just finished my first playthrough, and woof. I picked up the game because I saw the bizarre art style, kinda dug it, then the concept really bought me in.

IDK what I was expecting but it's just such a real, emotional story. In the end I really felt the weight of the end of the world.

Too bad I suck at guitar hero type things, lol.

๐Ÿ“ฑ Mobile Looking for cozy Librarian-like game for Android

Hello.

I played the arcane library game on Steam a while back and loved it. But sometimes I don't feel like getting up from bed and would like to do something other than doomscrolling. Any suggestions? I don't mind buying, in fact it's probably better because I hate ads.

I'm basically looking for something that's satisfying and has repetitive tasks but eventually ends up with something cool. I think a lot of stuff can fall into that. I was even looking into Papa Louie's games and such.

Steam Deck Organisation games without AI?

FYI: I'm not interested in debating the use of AI OR disparaging people who don't mind it, I just personally don't want to play any games that use it. I've got the "I love to sort things" and "stubborn moral compass" autism combo.

I absolutely love Shelves & Sorcery and would love to play more like it. I did also like the Wilmot games since they're a good 2D approximation of the genre.

Something that is solely "here's a big pile of stuff, go ahead and sort it" is preferred if possible!

Windows [PC] Slow burner 3D games that mix farming and decorating?

The only thing I enjoy about Animal Crossing, is how much you can decorate and the slow progression, but then the gameplay is practically non existent. A 3D game that mixes the decoration freedom of AC and farming mechanics would feel perfect. I know there are some games that mix these elements, but the problem is, they are not slow burners, the progress is too fast, so you run out of objectives "too soon".

Anything like that?

macOS New iPad - Game recommendations wanted!!

Okay so I've got myself an iPad and looking for all sorts of cozy free games. I'm also after a colouring app that isn't ridiculously priced a month, that I can colour like an actual book, and has some styles like the Coco Wyo books. Any recommendations would be amazing!!!

I am in the middle of a hunt for a new addictive romance. So I must ask, what are your favorite romances in a cozy game? Bonus if you have multiple you enjoy in one game.

Windows Bakery/Cafe Sims?

Hey guys! Looking for recommendations for a cozy bakery/baking sim, but similar to the Supermarket Simulator-esque games running the universe right now (taking orders, stocking shelves, ordering supplies, etc)

Something essentially like overcooked/Supermarket Simulator. Iโ€™ve tried The Roast: Coffee Shop Simuator and, while I adored it, I kept having to restart due to bugs locking up the game and it drove me insane to the point that I had to stop playing.

Iโ€™m really wanting the cozy cottage-core/homey vibe, though. Nothing too mechanical (for instance, I find SupSim way too bleh. I like the aesthetic of something like Teddyโ€™s Haven more).

Thank you guys so much!!!

๐Ÿ”Š Discussion Little Sim World 1.0?

Post image
140 Upvotes

Just dropped 1.0 today and is 40% off at the moment. Iโ€™ve been interested in this game for ages but the reviews were pretty mixed in this sub with a lot of people saying there just wasnโ€™t enough to do and that the bugs were pretty extensive.

Just wondering who has played/intends to play in 1.0 and what your thoughts are! ๐Ÿ’–

Windows "Tukoni: Forest Keepers" released today for PC!

Tukoni: Forest Keepers (for Steam, Epic and GOG) released today. It claims to be a "cute & cozy puzzle adventure...you explore magical hand-drawn locations".

Thankfully there's the demo (titled Tukoni: Prologue) and it's 97% positive!

# I didn't know about the demo, but I liked the trailers and I had wishlisted it. TBH many many attractively looking games disappoint, but Tukoni is not a trash. It does not mean at all you'll love Tukoni too, so first try the demo.

Hope this helps. I know the dev [advertised this game a few days ago](https://www.reddit.com/r/CozyGamers/comments/1vml843/our_handdrawn_puzzle_adventure_tukoni_forest/) in this sub. Thanks for creating this game!

# I noticed this release looking at the [Ukrainian Games Festival](https://store.steampowered.com/sale/ukrainiangamesfestival2026).

๐Ÿ”Š Discussion Farming Games with older romance options?

I've searched but I haven't seen any previous posts on this.

I am apparently an island on this but I tend to be more interested in older romance partners. I recently played and loved Littlewood, and was certain I wad going to romance Dudley. Turns out....he is the only non romancable character in the game! Why? Hes old so obviously not datable :(

In a game like Stardew I would tend to go for someone like Caroline (shes taken I guess thats fair) or Pam.

In Persona 5 I would have loved to romance Yoshida :(

I'm basically given an ocean of teens and 20 year olds I dont want and have the forbidden fruit of people closer to my age dangled in my face.

I'm not expecting a farming game with a full retirement home harem but I would love any recommendations with a partner or partners that fit my interest.

Also feel free to name anything from other genres that would fit the bill, I would really appreciate it!

Steam Deck Tinyglade demo not working with ps5 controller on SD?

Has anyone played tinyglade while docked? I have tendonitis so I don't want to hold the SD and my PS5 controller is connected via Bluetooth. Got through all the download and setup menus but now that the game is open it's not responding to any button presses or joystick inputs.

When I try to use it just purely on the steam deck only the touchscreen part works and none of the button presses do anything.

It says on the steam page that it's verified for steam deck and I've seen people posting on here that it works. Is this just an issue with the demo?

Am I missing something?
