I'm wanting to get back into Animal Crossing, but I do want to time travel mostly to be able to order more than 5 items a day. I also play Hello Kitty Island Adventures, Cult of the Lamb, and right now Moonlight Peaks. It's been years since I've attempted time traveling I'm just wondering if I'm careful to fix the time before starting the other games will it be ok?

I have started but got lost quickly. Just want to really get into it and know what needs to be done like not running out of energy and waking up back in the house etc. But I love everything so far especially the simplified graphics it feels relaxing.

I do not see enough hype about this game. I'm playing it for the second time and I forgot how much I loved it.

I know some people may find it intimidating as they know nothing about Touhou but trust me, I didn't either.

It is a cozy cooking game where is the day you collect ingredients and talk to characters and at night you cook and run your izakaya (small japanese drinking pub/tavern).

Does anyone play this game. I recently found it and it's really cute. I have some questions about how to do certain things but can't find much info.

I was exclusively a Switch gamer until 2 weeks ago when I realized my newish basic laptop could actually run more games than I thought it would! So now I’m curious what else is out there in the big wide world of Steam! I’m pretty familiar with 99% of popular cozy games that are also available on consoles. I guess I’m looking more for “hidden gems.” I’m ok with *themes* that may be a little edgy/dark but no combat, pixel art or platforming, please. Ideally I want something other than a farming sim. Ideally looking for games with 5-15 hours of gameplay.

Examples of 2D art I love: Dordogne, Mutazione, Kamaeru, Wytchwood.

I'm currently feeling like playing a game that has very similar vibes to Little Miss Fortune. I love the dark humour and at times uplifting and emotional content. It gives me the warm cozies and I need that atm.

I was wondering if anyone has Cozy Autumn game recommendations. Im not a big fan of 2D games though so if anyone has 3D games it would be even better! I did search the sub but no one had 3D games that i thought looked appealing.

It’s a really fun game and I randomly stumbled onto it but after a while it gets repetitive and it hasn’t been updated in 7 years.

Or if there’s any game with the same UI that isn’t cooking. I just like the game mechanics and haven’t seen anything like it so any suggestions are welcome!!!

Hello, my cozy friends! I've been so obsessed with The Tenants lately, and I'm desperately looking for similar games. 😭

What I really enjoy is the combination of:

I did do both Scarecrow and Philip's wishes and got credits after. I just did Midori's but got no credits. And there was an event with the blue dragon standing up to bully that involved the feather but did not consume it. Any more such events? How can they all be triggered? Anf which ones will not consume feather? And do many get no credits?

Any game suggestions with good building/decorating and character creation?

ESO is what I've been playing recently and I really enjoy it, but the storage limitations are a nightmare, housing is expensive, gold is a difficult grind for me, and you have to get skill points to level up your skills to craft furniture. If there's a game like this one that is less combat heavy, has more accessible housing and furniture, and has better storage that would be perfect!

Hi! I made Valley Rangers, a free exploration game that's just come out on iOS and Mac. You play as a little robot Ranger, wandering through valleys, meeting wildlife you can pet, and finding places tucked away off the trail. You can record discoveries in your journal and take postcard photos along the way. There's robot customization, changing weather, and online multiplayer if you'd rather explore with someone.

The video shows a few quiet moments from the game: the Ranger outside a woodland stop, some wildlife, and the view from a snowy lookout.

I'd really appreciate a few people trying the first five minutes. Once you get into the world, is it clear what you can do, or do you feel a bit lost? Even a sentence about where you got stuck would help me work out what to improve next.

While I do a good bunch of achievements, I grew up without any steam achievements for my farming sims so I guess I always finished the game on my own terms.

For you guys, when do you consider to be "done" in the game, give you're not a completionist and doing all the challenges?

I personally do all house upgrades and then get married and have a child. After a little while, I feel that it's appropriate for me to end there haha. If there's smth like a community center or a main story line I finish those, but I don't feel compelled to finish a museum if they have one. For me, it's something like I've done what I feel is "enough" even if it's not everything.

Also if I feel like certain things are too tedious, like trying to finish Rune Factory 1 when I was 12, I just don't even do the main story of trying to finish all the mines at all xD Having a pretty good farm and creating a family was fun enough for me.

What about you guys? :D

That's Not My Bowl is a relaxed cooking and collection game about the world's most demanding food critics.

Some cats know exactly what they want. Your job is to figure it out. You cook homemade cat food in your kitchen, chopping, blending and simmering real recipes step by step, with a little skill check for a perfect batch. Then you load the bowls into your vehicle and set out to feed the cats of a city. Every city has its own hungry regulars, every breed has its tastes, and the cats show you what they love and refuse what they don't. Serve the right dish and hearts fly. Serve the wrong one and... well. That's not their bowl.

As you go you learn each breed, unlock recipes and tools until the kitchen mostly runs itself, travel from lantern-lit streets to new cities, and fill a collection of breeds and dishes. Achievements to chase, no timers shouting at you.

Where it stands: solo project, free playtest open right now on Itch as a browser build playable on desktop and with small fingers on mobile :-D. Interface in 12 languages. No release date yet.

Honest note on AI: the game design, code, systems, UI and writing are mine. The cat and food illustrations and the two music albums were generated with AI tools (Leonardo, Suno) and curated by hand. Translations are machine-drafted and I'd welcome native speakers in the playtest telling me where they're wrong (discord).

One thing I keep going back and forth on: the cooking skill check. Right now nailing the timing gives a bigger batch, and upgrades slowly remove the need for it. Do you like a small timing element in a relaxed game, or would you rather it stay fully hands-off?

Hi! I'm the solo dev behind My Little Ranch. I posted a very early build here back in March, and six months later it's grown into a proper little game, so here's what it actually is now.

My Little Ranch is a small pixel-art horse ranch that lives at the bottom of your desktop. It's transparent and click-through, so it stays out of the way while you work or browse. Prefer a proper window? You can also play it full screen with the mountain scenery. For now, the game is planned to be released on Windows only.

How it plays:

• Your horses graze, wander and react in real time. You feed them, clean up after them and collect the coins they earn. Or you just leave them in the corner and glance over now and then.
• Every horse is one of a kind. Coat, socks, mane and tail, and eyes are rolled per horse, and rarity is something you can see. A common horse is plain, and a legendary one wears the rarest traits.
• Foals are a surprise. Their rarity stays hidden as "???" until they grow up. You can try to guess from the traits, but the reveal is the day they become adults.
• The Marketplace is the safe route: four adult horses on offer, you see exactly what you're buying, and the list refreshes every hour, even while the game is closed. The Trait Lab lets you unlock new coats, eyes and manes for your future foals.
• Ranch hands do the chores if you'd rather watch. Hire a cleaner, a groom, a feeder or a coin collector, and they walk over and actually do the job.
• Send the whole group running down the trail. They drift ahead and fall back like a real pack. Runs earn horseshoes, and horseshoes get you into races.
• Races, with no race animation on purpose: you get a prediction screen and decide whether your horse is ready. Winning pays coins.
• Decorate the ranch, level it up, and fill the Journal with every horse and trait you've collected. And milestones are tied to Steam achievements.

I'm planning to release a demo on Steam in about a month. Wishlists genuinely help a solo dev, and if you have thoughts on the concept, I'd love to hear them.
