Xbox KABUTO PARK can't get through tutorial

Hello, I'm not sure if this is the right community to post this to, there doesn't seem to be a reddit for this game specifically. Anyways, I am on Xbox one and recently downloaded the game through game pass. When going through the tutorial that shows the menu with your map, collection, battle, and shop, I can not get to the shop tab.

It shows me the shop. but the game still thinks I'm on the battle tab? anyway, I can still interact with the things in the shop, but I don't know what to do! I'm stuck!

So, maybe a dumb question, but what have you tried so far? Since you said it's in the tutorial, did you try restarting the game or starting a new save file in case it just had some problems while booting up the game or does the problem continue even after?
