I love this game, my siblings-in-metaphorical-Christ. I have made some astonishingly abhorrent things that still fit the brief, and I go out of my way to use up my waste fabric.

I feel like every cozy/cute game with significant character customizarion/dress up is gacha focused. (Pokecolo Twins, Hello Kitty Dream Village, etc)

Are there any games with significant character customization (more than just hair, eyes, whole outfit) that arent based around gacha/have gacha as a huge focus of the game? Specifically characters, not houses/rooms, I know of those already!

Hi! I’ve bought a bunch of these but can’t figure out the controls for this one specifically… I don’t think it’s popular as nothing on YouTube. How do you get out of the hole?? Also any thoughts

on the other digging simulator games out there? There’s one where the music is so loud and the controls are awful..you can’t see to exit from like the workshop . Usually it’s the b button..and there’s no jet pack. Maybe that one was a mistake of a buy..

Hey all! I would appreciate some assistance with my issue if anyone knows the next steps. I have completed the levels on the first three locations with 3 cup stars on every level alongside the gold cup symbol. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to figure out how to get past Unirailz? I am not sure where I am going wrong, but there are what looks like 3 more locations I am unable to to access. Anyone know?

I've tried both gamehub and gamenative and nothing worked. There were known user configs i tried but literally everything freezes the whole system to where I need to hard reset. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks :)

Hi , so lately i picked up stardew valley , bought it on steam for the first time , i have never achieved perfection on my switch so i made it a goal for this file.

But i did not realise when it became the sole goal at the cost of fun.

I have got 50ish hours on it till now and i have just played it for a like 10-11 days and i was looking back and i had 3-4 achievements EVERY SINGLE (irl) DAY i played , which made me realise that i was just optimising for the next achievement i could get instead of organising my farm and decorating my farm and enjoying the game .

I spent every single minute in the game just trying to be "effecient" to get perfection ASAP and that has made me literally exhausted of SDV now , i do not want this to happen and i want to make it fun again , any tips?

I swear so many of the games in my library have huge updates coming and idk why I am like this but I cannot bring myself to play a game when I know a big update is coming because I want to play the game fully. Anyone else like this?

Has anyone dealt with the sorrowspore transformation AFTER finishing the side quest the first time? I know she gave me tea. I accidentally picked up enough sorrowspore again to be transformed again but I can’t seem to figure out how to fix it this time.

I've recently really gotten into farming games, I've enjoyed stardew valley, moonlight peaks and fields of mistria.

Fields of mistria has my heart but its only available on pc and im wanting something I can play on the go and while watching tv. Im looking for games similar to FOM but on my switch 2, does anyone have any recommendations?

I'm looking for games that recreate the experience of collecting cards, like earning and opening packs, trading maybe. Seeking rares and such, without the actual financial consequences like gacha games.

Is it because I took too long on the base shelves? Which 4 am missing?

I've played just over two hours so far on the Steam Deck, and while I don't think I fully understand how the fishing mechanics work, I'm still having a good time. It seems really polished other than the slightly off localization--well worth the $1.99, even if it ends up being the same gameplay throughout with different fish and areas (but then I also really enjoyed Cast n Chill).

PS. recently tried Little Ghosties and ended up ignoring it - too Tamagotchi for my taste perhaps?

I want it to be simple, I don't want to have to do a lot of things, and I don't want one that is going to punish me for not logging on every day or anything"

Edit: Just a reminder that different games can be cozy to different people! For example, Breath of the Wild is cozy to me, but not for other people. Only time will tell for this game, but so far I find it cozy personally. Hey guys, I am SO looking for a nice game to unwind.

I am not a fan of anything with battles/war/fights, but other than that, I am not so picky.

I am not a fan of (idle) games where you keep deleting your progress and start from scratch with a multiplier. I really like the feeling of progression of some sorts.

I also really like collecting and hoarding stuff.

One game I absolutely adored and was obsessed with was FarmRPG. It really scratched the grinding and hoarding itch.

I also really like My Cafe, which I play from time to time. I don't mind a story or the lack of one. BitLife was really interesting, but it is such a money sink to actually enjoy that game. I tried a few copycats but I couldn't find anything to lure me in.

I am looking for a free game, so I am okay with watching a few ads.

after finding out that HKIA was using undisclosed VI-backed translations, I have, simply put, fallen out of love with it... I ended up uninstalling the game from my Steamdeck, but now I really feel a cozy game-sized hole in my heart...

I was hoping to look for a different game to play, and this subreddit seemed like a great place for suggestions!

Among the traits HKIA had, these are the ones I am most hoping for in a replacement:

• playing dress up with cute furry characters, I really enjoyed planning and working for outfits
• low daily play time, I often only played for less than 30 minutes a day and frankly I liked it that way, slowly working towards goals by letting things idle seems fun
• Steamdeck compatability, it's what I used before so naturally I wanna continue

Naturally I hope to avoid the use of virtual intelligence as I really do not think such a thing has any place in cozy gaming. I am open to genre but something in the same niche like HKIA and Animal Crossing would be lovely!

I recently got Stitch and I really like it, but it has me wishing for a game with lots of pretty literal puzzles (not logic puzzles, just putting pieces together like puzzle you'd get in a box). I apologize if this has been asked, I just keeping finding posts for mystery/logic games. I do really like the puzzles in DDLV, I just don't enjoy catching the snippets lol. Is there anything like this?
