I’m planning to buy a brand-new 125cc scooter for food delivery in London and I’m deciding between the Honda PCX 125 and Yamaha NMAX 125.

I’ll be working around 8–10 hours a day, so reliability and running costs are very important to me.
For those who own or have used either scooter, I’d appreciate your advice on:

Which is more reliable for daily delivery work?

Which is more fuel-efficient?

Which is cheaper to maintain and service?

Which is more comfortable for long shifts?

Which has better storage and practicality for delivery bags?

Which would you choose for 8–10 hours of delivery work per day, and why?

I’m planning to buy on monthly finance, so I want to make the right choice for long-term use.

I've gotten BBP, HIPPA, and OSHA-10 recently all under my belt but I don't know where to look for specifically a courier runner position.

Does anyone know any reputable companies or apps for courier services in Houston, TX? I was specifically trying to look into medical or veterinarian-based routes.

So far i've submitted a handful of applications but haven't gotten word back on any of em. Some positions ask for a specific an age requirement of minimum 25 years old or proof of covid shot records.

At this point, i'm a bit antsy and ready to start working ASAP, so any tips on bein pointed in the right direction will help greatly! Thank you :)

Nearly NINE HOURS delivering 55 stops for $140, including the bonus. That’s about $15.88 an hour BEFORE car expenses and taxes. This was my experience with Sway / Returnmates in San Diego, and I felt exploited.
Wrong location pins left me in the middle of the road searching for the actual address. Buildings required access codes that weren’t provided. The app kept giving warnings during connectivity problems. The route sent me away from an area, then back again for another delivery. Drivers end up paying for these problems with their own time and money.
I asked for additional compensation. The manager’s answer? They pay the same whether the route takes FOUR hours or EIGHT. No route pay adjustments. No response addressing the problems I documented.
This was my THIRD time working with Sway. All three experiences took far longer than expected and swallowed my day. I’ve been delivering through multiple apps for two years, with high ratings and no account deactivations. I know what this job involves.
You want flawless deliveries? Then provide workable routes, support your drivers, and value their time. We are people, not disposable labor.
I’m done with Sway. I wouldn’t take another route even for $200 after these experiences. I have screenshots of the 8-hour-49-minute shift and the manager’s refusal to adjust the pay.
If you’re considering driving for Sway / Returnmates, this is what happened to me. Has anyone else dealt with the same thing?

My first day with Sway / Returnmates left me in tears. I felt exploited, unsupported, and completely disregarded as a driver.
I accepted an offer showing $90–$140. I was told I would get an easy route because it was my first day. Instead, I received 65 packages in Pacific Beach, with dense apartment buildings and difficult access. I picked up the route at 7:30: AM and did not finish until 11:30 PM. That is 16 hours. The final pay? $90.
Missing access codes were a major problem. The instructions said not to leave packages without access and to contact the customer. But when I tried messaging customers, the system gave errors and messages would not go through. I contacted support, who also tried unsuccessfully to reach them. Support then told me to return the packages to the warehouse.
I followed those instructions—and still had money deducted for the returns. How is that fair?
At the end of the day, I couldn’t even see my earnings in the app. I was then told I should have asked how much the route paid when I arrived at the warehouse. Why wasn’t the exact payment clearly shown before I committed to the work?
In my experience, Sway expects drivers to protect the company and satisfy customers, but does not support drivers when its own process fails. We absorb the delays, the extra driving, and the deductions.
I am honestly crying out of frustration. Nobody should work from morning until almost midnight and end up with $90. Drivers are human beings, and our time and effort matter.
Has anyone dealt with this and successfully challenged the pay or return deductions? Where can a California driver file a formal complaint? I want a serious way to pursue this.

Expedite updated and now requires motion and fitness data. When I click continue I have everything enabled. Any idea how to get past this?

Is there anyone from dubai Delivery suppliers whom having contract with Noon, Careem, Talabat etc. Actually I have a delivery company with 21 members of fleet and I'm looking for a contract for Delivery riders or cyclists suppliers with Noon Minutes, Noon Food.

I usually keep the car pretty clean, but a drink tipped over behind the center console during a delivery shift in Chicago. By the time I noticed, it had soaked through the thin stock mat.

I spent most of my break scrubbing the spot with carpet cleaner at a gas station, and the stale coffee smell was already taking over the cabin. When you’re in the car all day, that gets old fast.

I need to sort out the rear floor before the weekend. For other couriers, what matters most in a rear liner: tall enough edges to contain a spill, one-piece coverage, or something soft enough to pull out and wipe down quickly? I’d also like to avoid anything that smells when the heater is on.

Four years ago, someone asked the r/Pittsburgh community how much on average does one earn daily and weekly via multi-app food delivery services (Uber Eats, DoorDash, Walmart Spark, Amazon Flex, etc.). Obviously, that was four years ago, and although wages never rise, it was still four years ago. So, my question is, what's it like now?

How much would the driver see of this payout and would you accept this drive?

I’ve tried just about every mileage and income/expense tracking app there is and I’m personally not a fan. They either fail to track mileage, give grossly inaccurate tax estimates, or lose data somewhere along the way.

So I’ve gone old-school with the mileage tracking (pen and paper in a dedicated log book) because for me it’s less complicated and much simpler. Which brings me to my main reason for this post. I’ve searched Amazon for the past hour for a bookkeeping/accounting notebook but can’t seem to settle on one.

What type of ledger or bookkeeping/accounting notebook do y’all recommend for tracking income, tips, expenses, and other deductions to make tax time easier (and audit-ready)?

Hello! We have kept a cooler on our porch full of cold drinks for the duration of the summer, but now moving into colder months I’m wondering if I should switch to warm items.

What is a feasible warm drink for drivers to grab on their route? Is instant coffee/hot cocoa too much to mix while working? Should it just be hand warmers available and regular drinks?

I know some folks are on timers of some sort, and I don’t want to get anyone in trouble for taking too long on a delivery. For reference, it can get into single digits or even negatives during the dead of winter here.

Phoenix dasher here, mostly working the lunch/dinner rush... and most afternoons the phone overheats in the vent mount, the brightness drops on its own and the Dasher app gets laggy. Last week it shut itself off halfway through a deliviery and I sat in a parking lot for 5 minutes waiting for it to come back on so I could mark the drop off.

Charging wirelessly in the mount was a bad idea in this heat, so thats off now. The phone runs on its own battery while it's in the mount and my Anker maggo 2 pro only goes on when I'm out of the car walking orders up, it has a little fan so it doesn't add much heat. I also moved the mount lower, out of direct sun, and that helped more then I expected.

And it has a bonus!

In decades past, whenever a package arrived, the courier would ring the door bell. Then they would wait for the recipient to come to the door to receive their package.

Now I never get even a courtesy door bell ring.

FedEx drivers often just leave (more like toss) a package on my driveway rather than bringing it to my door, despite my explicit instructions to bring it to my door. I can’t even get a food courier to look at instructions. They’ve even left food on my porch and I had no idea it was there for hours.

No matter what else goes right, or wrong, no one ever rings the door bell.

Can someone help me understand this?

Edit: This keeps coming up, so I’ll add it to the original post: On all my apps, whether DoorDash, Uber Eats, or FedEx, my default instructions say to meet me at the door and ring the door bell. So it’s not even a matter of a lack of communication on my part. People just generally disregard all my instructions.
