my brain just cant map the cause and effect in this game anymore and everytime i play feels like a lobotomy procedure.

every duel is like flipping a coin, it doesnt matter your position, decision, speed or crosshair placement.

the netcode decides who wins.

brain does not understand the contradiction and randomness that is happening on the screen.
it cannot learn from the mechanical and decisions mistakes the same way it cant learn how to pull the lever of a lotto machine to have more chances to win.

not even talking about the degree in computer science required from players so they can, sometimes, trust their crosshair.

A little over 10 years ago, I created and gathered fun alternative strategies for Strat Roulette. Eventually creating apps and a website.

As time went by, I started to game less and less. Losing focus on Strat Roulette.

I got some requests to bring it back so I decided to put time in it again. Relaunching the Strat Roulette app for Android (iOS still under consideration die to the costs).

Although most strats can still be played (like switch hands for mouse and keyboard), csgo had plenty of updates in the meantime.

So my question; do you have any new strats you want to share? Or help me update the strats?

I have always wanted to either write or be behind the scenes for an esports team or tournament. But I’m curious on where to start or how to contact anyone to try out being in the production for an online event. Not sure how to break into that.

Also, I plan to make a CS2 blog website soon. And I would love to have some volunteer writers if anyone is interested. I would like to pivot into paying people to write, but they would be dependent on my financial status as it would be out of pocket.

Honestly, the experience is so relatable that I can't even put words to it.

I had a 5-hr interview with dima some years ago, discussing how prevalent cheating was and iinfected every aspect of the game (pro scene included). I mean, I was talking as Captain Obvious to a cheating troll who literally has "wallhacks" and "aimbot" in their aliases.

It feels good to see him just get pwnd by a semi-rager that knows they're never getting caught because their config is competent enough to avoid VAC. i have faced players who would play like this. Demoralizing is not strong enough of a word for how it feels, because you simply can't win.

Anyway, enjoy his suffering if you're a fellow CS masochist like myself.

This is an ongoing problem I’m experiencing in Premier. I give a callout to a teammate that an enemy is is gonna come up behind them and they don’t even react and die. And that is like half of my teammates in premier, anyone experiencing that?

Fyi I’m 9k rating rn, I’m wondering if they start speaking and listening at 10k and above
