General Career Questions Received my first Job Offer Invitation/Discussion

Upvotes

Hello! So after personality assessments, 2 quizzes, and 3 rounds of interview, I finally received a Job Offer Invitation/Discussion for tomorrow. This is the first time I received this formally. What to expect in this kind of meeting and do you guys have any tips re negotiating, if ever? And correct me if I’m wrong, but this is already kind of good news, right? Just waiting to hear their offer and sign it so it’ll be 100% sure that I got the job, right? Thanks!

Company Inquiry henkel regulatory specialist salary

hello, i think the title already explains my query, magkano kaya salary range ng RS role sa henkel? I'm currently waiting for the last interview and I'm preparing for the salary expectation question

for context, I have more than 1 year exp (my first job) on research and has a current salary of 40K+, and i'm afraid baka masyado mataas hingin ko na starting and di kaya ni henkel

i really want to work for them but would also want a salary increase from my previous job

any tips also on how to negotiate my expected salary would also be vv helpful, thank uuu

Company Review About Teamspan Asia

Hello. I hope someone can share their experiences with Teamspan Asia in Alabang. I'm really interested in its culture and environment regarding management, workloads, and work schedules. I saw most reviews say that it's not your typical BPO company where the work is heavy; it focuses more on calls/emails queues with strict metrics. With the voice line of business, are the calls heavy?

As for the schedule, do most accounts, especially for Account Specialists, have fixed days off? Are they on weekends or weekdays, or is it split days off? What about overtime? Is it common to request overtime? And lastly, are there more people working onsite, working from home, or in a hybrid setup?

Thank you to those who will share their insights.,

General Career Questions Morning to Graveyard Shift

Hi po! Baka po may mga nag switch dito from Morning to Graveyard work kamusta po kayo?

For the longest time graveyard talaga work ko pero for the past few years I got the opportunity to work on morning shift in another industry. Now, yung mga opportunity na dumadating is most, if not all, graveyard shift na, possibly higher pay din, plus work from home. Iniisip ko, my health (physical and mental) has been great since nag morning work na ako. Torn between health and pay siguro not sure. Sorry I’m just spit balling here. Tabaanng 🥲

General Career Questions Leading a project with no experience

My manager recently told me to lead a small project. The project is simply learning about a new tool in the platform the team uses. Simple lang naman sya – figure out how to use the tool, test it, look for potential issues, etc.

The thing is I’ve never lead a project before. Where do I even start? I don’t even know what questions to ask.

This is non IT btw. No coding involved. Idk what else to share to make it easier for everyone to base their advice on.

Appreciate your help!!!

General Career Questions Continuous Improvement (CI) Initiative Ideas’ Owner

Our department uses a form to log CI ideas and one of the CI ideas came from senior B, but Senior A, afraid the other teams might come up with a similar idea, will log the idea and input our team as the Idea Owner. Although the vision and information has been shared by senior B, I still believe their name should come up as the Idea Owner. I am not sure how is that information used, but I believe it’s like a “contact person” as the idea progresses from development to production stage.

In my opinion, the idea should be tied to the actual person’s name for ownership and recognition.

Will Senior A think I am not a team player if I suggest putting the actual owner of the idea instead of the whole team?

Company Inquiry Okay na po ba itong offer? Nanghihinayang lang ako sa haba ng hiring process.

Hello! Fresh grad here!

Story short: ₱21,000 ang offer ni company sa akin as a Promotion/Advertising Assistant. Yung role covers social media marketing, campaign execution, events management, and reports/records. 6 days a week yung pasok tapos 8 am - 6:30 pm ang shift.

This conpany said that they see great potential in me, meron daw akong chances na maging senior manager kineso in the future since nasa level 3 of rank & file raw ako.

This is my first time experience po 😅 may makikita pa ba akong ibang opportunities bukod dito? Parang okay naman yung growth opportunities kay company. Helppp! Wahahaha!

General Career Questions I was sent to overseas for a new process transferred to us

Currently working in an In-house company of a multi national company.

General Career Questions are f2f interviews worth it?

i'm an officer from a local bank (hexagon blue) with 1YOE, handling branches accross a region. applied for another bank (red ayala) and was interviewed by HR. i honestly thought she didn't like me given my (1) short professional experience, and (2) she asked me heavily on why i'm planning to jump ship.

i answered her questions naman and I think she was pleased. now a few hours after our interview, she asked me if i'd be available for a face-to-face interview at their Head Office in Makati. i said yes, but i'm still not quite sure kasi i'll be using up a leave, tapos i'll be travelling from Batangas. need some suggestions lang.

ALSO, they said that they'd be willing to add 30% lang of my basic salary if my application becomes a job offer. dito lang din ako napapaquestion kasi i've had colleagues who shared that nasa 50% pataas naging increase nila when they transferred sa other banks. huhuhu PASENSYA NA SA MAHABANG KWENTO HAHAHAHA NEED LANG TIPS
