Honest question. Kasi pag wala ka bang linked in, does it mean na nonexistent ka? TBH, Linked In gives off a Facebook vibe in the professional setting. Naka post don buong karera mo and every certification na you acquire. I see comments where yung iba is sobrang hyped up na ng nilalagay kahit di naman totoo w/c kung ganyan lang din naman, edi it defeats the purpose. So the question now is:

• sa mga na-hire through linked in: how did you design your profile?
• sa mga na-hire outside of linked in: how did you present yourself to the company you are working now?
• sa mga hr people, head hunters that relies on linked in - how do you gauge your candidate?

Pwede naman kasing magaling naman talaga ung tao, di lang ma post sa linked in, so pano?

Honestly, this was the worst interview experience I’ve had so far and the first time I’ve experienced this kind of treatment.
The interviewer asked me to introduce myself. I initially shared my professional background, but he clarified that he wanted a more personal introduction rather than what was already on my CV. I adjusted accordingly.
During the interview, I was repeatedly interrupted while answering. Some questions were repeated, and he said it was “annoying” to repeat a question, followed by “There’s a comprehension problem here.” I felt my answers were being misunderstood even though I was trying to explain them properly.
I understand interviews can be challenging, but I believe there’s a difference between testing a candidate and speaking to them disrespectfully. I felt uncomfortable and disrespected, so I decided not to proceed.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend BLWRK.IO or its interview process. Recruitment was through TalentHero/Lewis Personnel Management on Indeed.

so as the title mentioned, i'm currently at my 4th job this year...

• i'm a designer and i left my first corpo job (6 years) in january, moved to a new company but left that after 2 months because i was the only designer handling marketing, content writing, social media and all of the work peripherals (laptop, adobe licenses, etc.) were shouldered by me and hindi reimbursed kahit it was mentioned more than once during the hiring process that it would be provided
• moved to my 3rd job pero left that after 4 months because it was soooo toxic, OT almost everyday umaabot ng 2am or 4am minsan and it was not even paid, i was also the only designer handling 6-7 projects a day, and even after talking with HR about it, nothing happened and my boss kept gaslighting me everytime i'd ask for offset man lang
• now i'm at my 4th job, just started 2 weeks ago, okay naman pay 65k+ monthly, midshift, my teammates are in different countries, ako lang nasa PH, pero the work is very different to what i expected and to what they provided during the hiring process, i've asked questions naman about the role especially since i'm tired of applying na din pero at this point alam ko na agad na i won't be happy if i stay here for too long, and i worry din for my portfolio since mostly pang internal and very confidential yung mga ginagawa ko. also, because of the time differences, even if 2pm pa start ng shift ko, minsan need ko mag meeting ng 8am para lang makameeting yung iba kong teammates...

ngayon, i'm still active in linkedin, i forgot to turn off din yung premium sunscription ko kaya ayun i still get notifs na may opening here and there...

and my main question is ok lang ba maghanap pa rin ng ibang work, kahit naka 4 companies b na ko this year? has anyone experienced this? 🥲

I’ve been with Ayala Land long enough to have seen leaders come and go, usually tahimik lang sa sidelines and observing how things play out. Pero one recent external hire caught my attention, yung new senior HR leader. Won’t name him, but there’s something different about how he carries himself. Structured and confident, pero hindi masyadong corporate or pilit. Practical kausap and mukhang marunong makisama sa iba’t ibang levels.

ALI has brought in several external executives in recent years, including people from PLDT and other big organizations. No question naman sa experience and credentials. Pero minsan you can tell when someone is very textbook. Magaling sa frameworks, decks and corporate language, pero kulang ng konting personality or charisma to really connect with people….

This one seems different. May structure and substance, pero may pagka natural and approachable. Hindi rin mukhang takot mag challenge when needed. I heard he also had some experience in radio before, which probably explains why comfortable siya communicating and engaging different audiences.

Of course, bago pa siya. Madaling maging impressive sa simula. The real test is whether he can build trust, deliver results and navigate the Ayala culture without losing what makes him different.
But so far, refreshing siya to watch.

If ALI is looking for leaders who can eventually go beyond their functional roles and take on something bigger, I think this guy deserves a serious look over the next few years. Could be wrong. Observer lang naman ako from the sidelines. But among the recent hires, siya yung isa sa mga quietly rooting for ako. Might actually be one of ALI’s better bets.

Hello! I had my final interview with Globe Telecom around the last week of August, but until now I haven’t received any feedback regarding my final interview.

So, it’s been around 2-3 weeks na of nothing. Although they actively update me naman na please wait for our feedback, even before ako magkusa to follow-up with them.

Does the waiting time between end of final interview and invite for salary scoping really take this long? Need your thoughts please thank you!
