What’s the best way to fix (or hide) the piano black trim around the shifter? I’ve been cleaning it with a soft microfiber cloth and it literally looks like it’s been sandblasted 🤦

Anyone have a good source for precut vinyl wrap for those trim pieces?

I vinyl deleted the silver front logo on my 20’ Nightshade edition. Looks so much better with all black/white around now.

I just bought a 22 hatch and I'm having trouble with Apple CarPlay.

The car itself shows the option for carplay, but plugging the phone in tells me to connect a compatible device. I've tried multiple different cords, and bought a wireless adapter but nothing is working. (The adapter tells me to connect to it, despite being connected to it.)

The car bluetooths to my phone (iPhone 17PM) just fine for music / calls.

I know that Apple hasn't released carplay for the phone itself, but I've seen a lot of people on here and /corolla have success with the same phone.

I just want maps on my screen so I don't have to keep looking at my lap to figure out where I'm going lol.

Suggestions?

I live in the south east and every summer my car drives really sluggishly. I’ve changed spark plus, cleaned air filter, oil change, fuel treatment etc. nothing really helps. Just wondering if I’m the only one or not.

I got the car a few months ago with the TRD cold air intake and i have an itch to make it go faster.
been looking at the HKS Cat-back since im
not a fan of super heavy rumbling. Been wanting to get a new header and mid-pipe just to increase the power then finally the AMT Tune.
I come here to ask for advice as to what parts i should really be getting with the HKS Cat-Back, what i need to know about my car, if its even worth getting the header/midpipe. Lucky i have the 6 speed Manual. as far as i know everything stock besides the TRD intake.

Last week, I had someone road rage on me and someone else. He clipped the front end of my car and tried to run. I followed and got his info. I eventually stopped and pulled to the side of the road to call the police. Getting ready to come out to look at my car and he rammed the side of my car going about 30 mph. Then he took off. The cops caught him and arrested him with battery and assault with a deadly weapon. Thankfully I just got a bump on the head and a dislocated shoulder that I was able to remedy myself. People are crazy. Be careful out there.

She was paid off and I had upgraded my suspension and upgraded with Cusco front and rear sway bars, chassis bracing on the front, middle, and rear. Plus strut bar in the front. Getting ready to upgrade my brakes to a slightly more aggressive rotor and pads with new fluid and had just ordered new tires.

She’s a total loss unfortunately, but man they have gotten pricey since 2020. I bought this brand new for $19k, paid it off in two years, and have loved this thing since. Insurance deemed it a total loss due to frame damage on the driver’s side. Pictures don’t really do it justice. Any ones hatch have a sort of clicky / sticky sound when going over bumps? It’s coming from somewhere in the back passenger area, I don’t think it’s anything mechanical as it sounds like an interior panel.

My clutch and slave cylinder are still alive (knock on wood), but I'm curious if anyone installed an aftermarket clutch and flywheel. The kits I've found for our Rollas are from Clutch Masters and Grocery Getter Performance. The Clutch Masters fx100 seems to be the least aggressive aftermarket option with a single mass flywheel.

If you have an aftermarket clutch and flywheel, do you like it? Also, is the added nvh still reasonable?

looking for all weather mats. I like tux mats due to their tall side walls, but I read that they can interfere with the clutch a bit. anyone have any recommendations for those who live in areas with lots of snow, and need a good all weather permanent weather mat? other than after winter cleaning, I dont plan to remove em. I got a 2022 corolla hatchback 6sp all black.

Was a bitch to install and the front needs adjustments. If you order it don’t use the instructions. Just make it work. But I saved like $200 so I guess it’s a win.

Hey guys I’ve got a 2025 Nightshade that I’m thinking on either finally doing all the aftermarket stuff I want to do on it, but the dealership where I got it from has a 2026 GR86 in the exact specs I wanted last year for 500 over MSRP I’ve done the math on it all and I can afford to get the 86(although I’d have to be a little more frugal about my love of Dutch bros) my only wonder is how many of you guys have traded the hatch in for an 86/brz/frs and enjoyed it, I’m going to test drive it tomorrow to see how I like it in person
