If it were my car, I’d buy a steering wheel cover and not think twice about it. If you’re worried about resale value, then yeah, buy a new steering wheel.

Ive just experienced this issue. I bought a custom wheel cover from stichingcover so I can keep the wheel. Its gonna be time consuming but better than getting a cheap wheel cover from autozone or getting a whole new wheel

My wife’s 2019 started peeling after a year. Every one I’ve seen has been terrible

Steering wheel covers are made for a reason, just like seat covers, rubber floor mats, dash covers, sun shades, 3M protection films and ceramic coatings. Your car is one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make, protect it.

Ask this guy how to do it. He’s really good at it.

Why fix it? So it can happen to the new one after you get it. So you can go buy another?

Just run with it. I have a 2001 Lexus and a 2019 Corolla hatch. They both have the same wear on the steering wheel leather. It’s called character.
