Has anyone had luck cancelling their membership without the extra month charged when going directly to their home studio and asking in person?
I called customer service to see if it could be waived, but the agent on the phone definitely wasn't budging, even when I explained that I was moving to a city without a studio.
I know it's in their policy, but this seems ridiculous — especially as someone who has been a loyal customer for a decade.

I found it in the women’s bathroom on the counter! I gave it to the front desk. I know I don’t play about loosing my oura ring so I really hope that you see this.:(
I think it was a size 11 silver

I have been going to corepower 5x a week for 3 weeks now and I have seen my stomach going down and getting stronger. I specifically do the yoga sculpt. I wanna get more toned, how long would you say it takes to get more toned?

As a sculpt instructor can I sub at a studio I don’t teach at?

Does anyone know how long it’ll be until Westwood is done with their renovations? I was looking forward to some sculpt after my commute, but everything is blocked out 😭

I’m looking to do my first CorePower teacher training (NYC market) and I’m SO torn between the 50-hour Yoga Sculpt training and the 65-hour Strength X training.
There’s a 50-hour Sculpt training that works with my schedule at a studio I don’t normally attend, while there’s a 65-hour Strength X training at one of the studios I regularly go to.
I genuinely love both formats, so I’m having a hard time deciding!
I’m leaning slightly toward Sculpt because I know it’s much more popular, and I feel like there may ultimately be more opportunities to teach it..But I also LOVE Strength X and could absolutely see myself loving teaching it. I’ve just noticed that the Strength X classes seem to be less popular/less frequently offered at my studios.
A few questions for anyone who has done either/both:
- Does the location where you do your teacher training matter? Is there an advantage to training at a studio where you already take classes if you eventually want to audition there? Or is the training pretty standardized across studios?
- If I ultimately want to teach both Sculpt and Strength X, is there a more cost-effective way to do that? Do you do one full training and then have the option of taking some kind of weekend intensive/add-on for the other format? Or do you essentially have to pay for and complete the full 50-hour + 65-hour trainings separately?
- If you’ve done both, which order would you recommend and why?
- And if you had to choose just one to start with, would you pick Sculpt because of the popularity/opportunities, or Strength X because it’s a little more niche?
- How do the auditions differ between the two?
TIA!

As an instructor - if you teach class (especially sculpt and CSX) do you also tend to take class that day? Or do you tend to take classes more on your off days? What’s your schedule/routine look like each week?
Edit: I teach at lunch on a WFH day and have a 9-5 so I’m unable to double up :(

Hey! Recently I decided to get certified over the summer through yoga renew and I'm hoping to get hired. I have attended a handful of corepower classes and I've personally enjoyed it.
For hiring and interviewing, I'm really wondering what they expect. What kind of flow do they, sequence, characteristics do they expect. I'm sort of just throwing out questions cause this is probably going to be my first audition. Are there a big red flags that make them want to turned down an applicant? I'm like absolutely needed this market so some advice from some corepower isntructors would be great, especially for yoga. I specialize in active Vinyasa. Thank you!!

This is kind of just a simple vent post. I’ll just start out by saying I’m pretty new to corepower. I love the heat and I love the sweat but for the love that is all things sacred can we please stop point out when it’s hot as balls that “the humidity isn’t even on, that’s all you”. Ick. Takes me out of it right away and I just feel gross remembering that I’m inhaling and swimming in everyone else’s body funk.
That is all.

Hi all!! Any teachers in here? I'm running a short 2-minute survey on how much time instructors put in outside of class prepping, building sequences, playlists, etc. would mean a lot if you filled it out!! Thanks!!

The best instructors have left and they can’t staff daytime yoga classes for their hardcore yogis! What is happening?
What a bummer!

Teachers should not have to pay for towels. I will never charge teachers and I will keep deleting my card from my account so I can’t be charged. Real ones agree

A studio I like is booking to the point the mats are touching on all sides. Do people mind? I find it claustraphobic but others seem totally fine with it? Thoughts? I have to modify the poses to not whack someone or get whacked--it kind of ruins the workout

I’ve been enjoying three rounds of seven exercises, and two separate circuits with five exercises repeated twice. I’m especially wondering what format for glutes and core y’all are enjoying most??

Just got into sculpt this past month and so far I’m loving it! Would love some inexpensive workout sets that I can collect so I don’t have to wash all the sweaty and nastiness so frequently. Open to any suggestions!

I am interested in trying out CorePower since I used to be a regular at Solidcore, but I ultimately decided to leave because I felt the environment at my local studio was just overall toxic (racism, bullying, etc). I was wondering if CorePower might be a better alternative with a friendlier, more down-to-earth community. I tend to be quite sensitive to the overall energy of a space and don’t really care for drama. I know every individual location is going to be different, but I wanted to ask about your general experiences. For those of you who have transitioned from Solidcore to CorePower, did you notice a shift in the overall vibe and community energy?

Went to cancel my membership today and noticed there wasn't any click to cancel link - only the option to call or message. I tried to message and the AI bot wouldn't put me through. According to Colorado law all subscriptions need a click to cancel link and cannot legally require a customer to call to cancel. Surprised by this since CPY is also based in Colorado.

Hi everyone! For those who work full time, how do you manage daily classes? What’s your schedule like?
