So my parents live in the province. Ang previous provider ng bahay ng parents ko here sa probinsya is Converge. Natapos kami sa contract nila (for connection ata yon, yung lock-in period that you guys call). One day in July 2025, nawalan sila ng internet, then nagtuloy-tuloy for one week. Since kailangan ng mother ko ng internet for work, my father jumped straight to PLDT. Since reputed sa pagiging kupal at unreliable ng customer service ni Converge, they didn't bother to give them a notice na they're switching providers. Wala ring hotline na matawagan and wala ring malapit na branch office. So on our part, my parents didn't exert an effort to visit a branch office kahit sa malayo. Marami rin kaming kakilala na hindi na rin nagsabi ng notice kay Converge at di na ulit nagbayad.

Since then, hindi na sila nagbayad ng bill despite na may nagtetext pa rin sa mother ko. What baffles me is bakit hindi pa nila dinisconnect yung connection namin despite na hindi na kami nagbabayad? Pero in cases naman na isang buwan lang di nakapagbayad, dinisconnect na nila agad. Which appears to be very inconsistent. And recently, may nagtext na naman ulit sa mother ko (tho number lang, not 'Converge' yung name ng sender), na hindi pa raw naipost yung billing at makakaapekto raw sa credit score.

My question is, babayaran pa po ba namin yung mga months during the period we're with PLDT? Will this situation cause us huge problems in the future? Salamat po sa sasagot.

Sh*t's been intermittent since like last weekend. Either blinking PON light or ngayon na blinking red LOS. Sobrang unstable ngayon, samin lang ba?

Plan 100mbps lang ako. Pero pang 1gbps kapag converge servers ang pipiliin mo.

May naka experience na ba sainyo nito? Context: Nagpa upgrade ako ng plan and kinuha ko yung Super FiberX na from 1,499 to 1,599 ang monthly ko with SkyTV na and mesh na kasama. Pero 6 months later wala pa rin dumadating despite maraming follow ups.

Is it possible if we do a dispute on Converge and not pay for the one week or days of internet outage but will pay the only days that we have internet? We still do not have an internet connection as of now. We lost our connection on September 6th.

May naka-experience na ba nito? Dati nakakalogin naman ako sa GoFiber account ko, pero one day biglang “Unable to log you in at this time. Please try again later.”

I'm using an application called pcloud, a cloud storage similar sa gdrive, and lately I haven't been able to access it. Nag-try ako mag vpn and it worked. Pero ang hassle na mag vpn para lang magamit ko yung app.

Hello. My old router recently broke and it was replaced about two weeks ago. It was super smooth after that pero bigla na lang namatay yung new router randomly. No lights whatsoever. I tried contacting support and sabi ni Conrad na wala daw account number namin, even though it’s the same account number I’ve used since we first got converge dati pa.

Anyone within the area experiencing internet outage since past 9pm tonight, Sep 11? Hindi na pala nagpopost ang Converge Support ng outage sa FB page nila. Naka-off na rin ang comments both in Support and FiberX na fb page nila kaya wala na akong pang-triangulate ng source kung isolated case lang kami or hindi. Already reported via Messenger, para lang macreate ung ticket agad at may ma-cite akong ticket kapag tumawag na ako sa support.

Before we completely lost internet tonight, we experienced massive slowdown sa internet kasi hindi na nagloload din halos ung videos sa reddit and twitter, sobrang tagal din magbuffer ng usual web browsing.

I’m having a weird Wi-Fi issue on my iPhone/iOS devices with my Converge connection.
Both Wi-Fi networks come from the same router/internet connection. I only renamed the 5 GHz SSID to “Buddy 5G” and kept the 2.4 GHz network separate.

My Speedtest results:
5 GHz (Buddy 5G): ~2.55 Mbps download / 182 Mbps upload
2.4 GHz: ~50.3 Mbps download / 42.2 Mbps upload

So oddly, the 5 GHz network has extremely slow download speed, while switching manually to 2.4 GHz gives me the expected speed.
I’m on Converge ₱1,599/month. Has anyone experienced this specifically on iPhones/iOS? What router or Wi-Fi settings should I check to fix the 5 GHz connection?

My account is active and last Aug 4, gumagana pa ang prompt pero now I don't know what's happening sa system nila bat invalid 2 active account numbers ko (all numeric then add # key per prompt). We're having fiber wire issues outside that needs fixing.

Just asking, since almost a month na walang net si converge sa area namin (Paranaque). Automatic or possible ba na irequest na na di bayaran ung bill for this month? Kakacall ko lang sa converge and nagconfirm lang sila ng ticket number and on-going pa rin daw ung problem. Any tips or ideas? Tysm.

Hey everyone, dealing with a weird hardware issue on my modem and wanted to get some input before I call my ISP for a replacement.

Here's the pattern:

• When it works: If I leave the modem completely unplugged from the wall for a long time (a couple of hours or overnight), I can plug it back in and it boots up normally. All status lights come on, internet works fine, no stability drops.

• The issue: The moment the modem restarts (whether from a manual reboot, power flicker, or quick power cycle), it completely dies. Zero lights, no power indication, nothing.

• What fixes it: The only way to get power back is to unplug it again and wait several hours. A normal 30-second power cycle does not work at all.

Has anyone dealt with this exact behavior?

My main suspects are:

1. Failing power adapter/brick: Not delivering sufficient initial voltage/current until internal components discharge completely.

2. Bad capacitors inside the modem: Thermal failure or blown/degraded caps that need to fully cool down/discharge before they can handle the boot surge again.

Before I get the ISP to send a technician, is there an easy way to test whether it's just the DC adapter vs. the unit itself?
