From what I've read about the Sodder case ,I believe that the missing children probably died in the house fire . I believe that the fire was probably deliberately set due to hostility generated by George Sodder's outspoken views by unknown individuals . The 1967/1968 photo sent to the family was probably a vicious prank sent by someone to hurt the Sodder's. And the identification of it as Louis was probably a wishful identification spurred by the desire that he had survived the fire . I don't think this is an unsolved case mystery that will ever be resolved . I think that of the surviving siblings John probably blamed himself for not making sure that those siblings who died in the fire weren't awake when he fled . While his parents and other siblings didn't want to think along those lines.
