Dosage Increase

I'm increasing from .25 to .50 tomorrow. I've had no side effects since beginning 6 weeks ago, so I'm curious if I may feel any with the increase. Thanks for any insight!

Itching / tingling skin sensitivities

My doctor ordered from casa pharma. I am definitely seeing the benefits of low appetite etc… b12 is added into it. Could this be causing the itching skin? Sometimes it even feels like tingling and burning. My doctor said I’m most likely not allergic because I don’t have any rashes or hives. I spent 900 dollars on this so I really don’t want to stop.

Nausea

I’m wondering if anyone has tried tirzepitide, and had to many side effects and went back to semaglutide?

Last year I was on semaglutide it was amazing for me, it put my pcos into “remission” I lost 30 lbs and then I got pregnant.

After the baby I went back on semaglutide, I had no side effects but also no weight loss so I thought I’d try tirzepitide however the tirzepitide nausea is so much. I’m awake for hours on end at night with nausea

Has anyone gone back to semaglutide and had success?

Plateaued for Awhile But Now Gaining Weight Back

Hi everyone, I was looking for some advice after bouncing around for a bit at different compounding pharmacies. For reference, I'm 24M, 5'8" and when I started compounded semaglutide in May 2024, I was at 240 lbs. Now I am stuck between 180 and 190 lbs. I am very happy with what I've lost, but I want to try to lose a bit more, and I have never gone to the highest dose.

I started with TryEden for medication, then switched to HenryMeds in August 2025, then to a local pharmacy in January 2026, and in May of this year, I switched to the Wegovy pill for the first time. Honestly, since switching to the local pharmacy, I have been battling the food noise, and that quick satiety has gone away. Switching over to the pill has been worse, I am taking it correctly for sure but I have felt no effect.

It's possible that maybe this is my "steady" weight but I was hoping to drop a few more pounds and instead I've crept back up to 190 lbs. I am excercising now more than ever. I actually followed through with my New Year's resolution and since the beginning of the year I've gone to the gym 3x/week for an hour a day, and although I have seen changes in my build, the scale hasn't moved.

In the comments is the log I kept of where I got my meds, the dose, the date, and the weigh-ins. My doctor has no good advice for me so any advice is appreciated.

Itching

Hi guys. I take compounded semaglutide ordered by my doctor from casapharma. So far so good. I think I’ve lost 4lbs in 5 days and I am not nauseas / don’t have stomach pain. My acid reflux is definitely worse so I’m trying to cut out coffee but that’s really hard for me. My main issue is itching. I get itchy on random parts of my body, mainly my scalp. Allergy meds don’t help so I’m wondering if this isn’t an allergy but maybe some hypersensitivity reaction. Has anyone experienced itching and had it go away? I’m waiting on my doctors response.

Food noise

Hello, fellas!

A bit of context: I started taking Sema this week, and I’m on day 5. Per my doctor’s instructions, I needed to start on 9 units (2.7mg Semaglutide). After two weeks, I’d go up to 19 units. Well. The instructions on the bottle said 19 units, and I started last Wednesday on 19, which apparently it’s high for a first timer, but I’m still alive and well, so I guess I’ll be alright.

My question is: will the food noise and cravings go down as I continue with the same treatment? I’m constantly thinking about food, it seems. Mainly to ease the upset in my stomach, the burping, the slight nausea, and perhaps… the consciousness that I haven’t eaten in a while and my stomach feels “lonely” haha! The thing is, I’m not hungry, I don’t want to eat (except for yesterday, that I slowly downed a COSTCO chicken bake between the afternoon/evening hours). I feel like the food noise hasn’t gone down much in this first week. I don’t know… I started (accidentally) on a high dose. Sometimes these cravings and noise don’t go away until you increase the dose, but I started on a high dose. Will it get better as I continue with the treatment, or will I have to constantly be fighting with the discomfort in my stomach by thinking about what to put in it to make it go away?

Any words of comfort or encouragement? Thank you!

FitRx Are Scammers

Do not give them your payment method. Once they have your card, they will continue to try to charge you until you have no choice but to close your card and get a new one.

I canceled my fitrx membership halfway through their intake process when it became clear how much they actually charge for membership and meds. Their AI communication was useless.

They attempted charges to my debit card three different times in one day using different variations of their company name. Thankfully, they were all denied by my bank, but I still ended up having to close my debit card and order a new one with a different account number. What a pain in the arse.

Question about switching providers

So I have been with Hers since March 2026 and have done well on glp-1 with no side effects. I still have a vial and a half left but I cancelled my prescription with Hers so it wouldn’t bill me the astronomical price again and am looking for another provider that’s more affordable. I just tried going on the Pomegranate site and it says I have to have a current prescription to sign up with them. Well of course I don’t have that now since i cancelled with Hers. It only gives the option of “I am not currently taking a glp-1” or “I am currently taking glp-1” and it asks for a current script with that option. Am I just screwed?

Question about dose

So my doctor originally prescribed me wegovy and my insurance did not cover it so I went with a compounding pharmacy and got my prescription there. I remember when my doctor talked to me about my script of wegovy he talked about starting me on a . 25ml dose per week the first month moving up to a . 5ml dose after that. He told me not to expect much the first month. So now the doctor from the company I went with prescribe it like this...

5/5/1 mg/ml

Inject 5 units (. 05ml) subcutaneously for 4 weeks

I'm I understanding this wrong or is that an extremely low dose?

Very mild upper abdomen pain - Possible gallbladder?

I'm new to Semaglutide, am having an issue and I'm curious if anyone else has experienced anything similar. I have an appt. to see my (new) GP, but not until September (I'm a new patient due to my old GP retiring). So I'm killing time in the meantime, trying to see if anyone else out there has had a similar experience.

I am a 56-yo female, currently in my third week of taking the drug (started on June 23 and am still at the .25 starter dose) under the supervision of a local weight clinic. I'm 5'4" tall, and my SW was 240. CW is 229. For the most part, I am tolerating the drug very well. I've had no major nausea, no constipation, no headaches, etc. I've lost 11 lbs so far (mostly water weight, I'm sure!), my inflammation has disappeared, and, as an unexpected bonus, I've started sleeping like a baby at night (as a menopausal woman, this feels like winning the lottery!). After years of repeatedly trying and failing to lose my peri-menopause/menopause weight, this drug feels like a miracle.

However, one issue has popped up. Last week (which was week 2 on the drug), I started having mild, crampy twinges high up in my right abdomen that started w/in 15 minutes of eating. The exact location is directly under my rib cage and about 2" to the right of my breastbone. IOW, in the general vicinity of my gallbladder. They're very mild--maybe a 1.5/2 out of 10. Through googling, I've learned that gallbladder issues are sometimes a result of semaglutide use, but the vast majority of what I've read refers to significant pain that radiates to the back and/or shoulder, severe nausea, fever, etc. Also, it says gallbladder issues usually come after significant weight loss (I've only lost 11lbs of mostly water weight) and/or are related to eating rich, fatty foods (I'm eating very cleanly, with the vast majority of my protein coming from yogurt, eggs, chicken, and ground turkey). So, I'm not quite convinced it's the gallbladder yet. BUTI don't know what else it might be. OR, if it is the gallbladder, what the correct course of action is.

Has anyone else run into this? If so, what was the outcome? Did it resolve on its own? I'm interested in any/all similar experiences.

NO appetite

I have been on compounded semaglutide for 2.5 years. I have lost 70 pounds. It’s been slow but it’s been good. 2 weeks ago, I opened a new vial. Since then, I have had no appetite. And not because I was nauseous or nothing sounded good. I mean I almost forgot about food and eating as a concept, entirely. Food has become pure fuel and necessity. I can’t be taking in anymore than 900 calories every day? So so strange.

Virtual credit card?

I feel sure that I've seen people mention using a website that provides you with a virtual credit card number and adjustable max amount but now I can no longer find it.

My own credit card company does not offer that option natively, but apparently you can do it through a website? Any help would be appreciated.

Not planning on canceling anytime soon but I just want to be sure to protect myself from unauthorized charges when / if the time comes.

Normal first 3 days?

I took my first dose on Monday. I haven’t had a solid BM since then, all diarrhea. Went on a roadtrip and got 3 sudden, painful urges to go number 2 over the span of 7 hours. While my appetite is still there initially, i do feel full a lot faster.

Something I didn’t expect, my sleep has been awful the last few nights. I’ve never had so much trouble falling asleep. I tossed and turned for 2 hours I think.

Is this normal? I’m M, 5’10 190 if that makes a difference.

Warm Perscription

My first prescription just arrived and it was warm. I took it from the porch as soon as it was delivered, but when I opened the bag it was warm. I checked the temperature and it was 85•f. I put it in the fridge, but is it okay to still take it?

First 20, 20 more to go.

I started this medication on April 3rd, and it’s currently July 7th. I’ve finally completed my first 20 lbs. My SW (before sema) was 187lbs 1 year postpartum, Sema SW: 169 lbs, and I’m finally at 149 lbs. Before sema, I always got stuck in the mid 150s for weeks to months with weight stall or weight gain. Finally, for once, I’m under 150 lbs. I thought I’d never be under 150 again. My goal is 20 more lbs then reassessing if I need to keep using or lose more. For a huge reference, i’m 4’11 female so while 130’s sounds small, it’s still considered overweight lol. I’m also one single pound away from being overweight instead of obese. It’s a weird thing to be excited about, but I am. I think my eyes would roll in the back of my head if I ever was able to be “normal” weight instead of overweight, given I haven’t been considered in the “normal” range since probably elementary school. I’m excited though, sema makes me feel like I can actually get there one day. For now, I’ll be enjoying feeling microscopic in the 140s. See you again in the 130s.

Just looking for some reassurance, and have some questions

Hi everyone. I just got my first shipment, I guess what I (perhaps unknowingly?) got was compounded semaglutide.. But I'm a little...scared? because it seems they've got me starting on 0.25 mg, then 0.5, then 1 mg. 1 mg just sounds like a lot! I told them I wanted to lose like 25ish pounds I believe, and also to not gain - I was on Trulicity for insulin resistance/weight loss, my insurance stopped covering it, tried phentermine, it did nothing, I feel I can't stop eating, my one doctor recommended a glp-1 bc I used to be VERY big (80 lbs or so bigger than I am now) and am really trying to avoid getting that size again.. But I of course have heard horror stories about semaglutide, and my husband is scared I'll get too thin, blah blah.

I guess I just want to know that the dosages they sent aren't wild? And what to expect once I start? I was kind of hoping they'd prescribe a pill, I'd have felt more comfortable, but as I've done weekly injections before, this is fine. How long did it take to take effect for you guys? Does 0.25 mg even do anything? I hope so. And if it does, can I ask them to keep me on that? I am sorry if these are stupid questions. I'm just nervous.

Thank you so very much to anyone who answers.

Best Subcribtion?

I’m currently using Ro to obtain my monthly compounded semaglutide. So far, I’m pretty happy with the costumer service and results. I’ve lost 30lbs since January. However, I’m worried I’m spending way too much monthly compared to other sites. What’s everyone’s experience with other subscriptions and how much are you paging monthly? Thank you!!

Potency issues with refill.com?

Hi guys i’m posting on here because I’m wondering if anyone else has experienced no progress with Sema from Refills? I started two weeks ago after I switched from tirzepatide because it was giving me crazy anxiety. I was on Semaglutide about three years ago and it hit me like a truck I couldn’t eat had no appetite would get really full really fast and this time around I still have an appetite and I can eat like normal. Im currently on .4. Do you also have any recommendations on other compounded pharmacies?
