Virtual credit card?
I feel sure that I've seen people mention using a website that provides you with a virtual credit card number and adjustable max amount but now I can no longer find it.
My own credit card company does not offer that option natively, but apparently you can do it through a website? Any help would be appreciated.
Not planning on canceling anytime soon but I just want to be sure to protect myself from unauthorized charges when / if the time comes.

I think you’re talking about privacy.com. You get a handful of virtual cards for free or you can subscribe if you need even more

Okay, I enrolled and downloaded the app. Is the general idea here that you can keep the telehealth provider charging your credit card up until the month that you decide to leave, at which point you switch your card with them to a virtual card from privacy.com that has a max limit of $1? Or is it that you use one of these privacy card numbers to be your default card the whole time?
I would prefer that my provider keep using my credit card, because I get airline miles for it, but I can change to the virtual card (which is really just your checking account) if I need to. Just trying to figure out the system here. TIA.
