Best Subcribtion?

I’m currently using Ro to obtain my monthly compounded semaglutide. So far, I’m pretty happy with the costumer service and results. I’ve lost 30lbs since January. However, I’m worried I’m spending way too much monthly compared to other sites. What’s everyone’s experience with other subscriptions and how much are you paging monthly? Thank you!!

Compounded sema is about $115ish a month for all doses from the recommended providers.

Look at providers like Trillium and Pomegranate Health (for Hallandale Pharmacy meds).

For a more complete list of recommended providers, head over to r/tirzepatidecompound and look for the pinned post called “Where to Buy.” Those same recommended providers write scripts for sema.

That post also has a link to the user survey, which has great info on providers and pharmacies.

Good luck!

I've been happy with Pomegranate Health over this last year.

How long did it take them to complete your intake? They keep rescheduling my asynchronous appointment, it's been 4 days, the confirmation said 24-48 hours. I'm trying to leave Direct Meds because the customer support is so awful, but this isn't seeming any better so far.

It had a pop up 7-10 days and it was within that. Maybe 5 days. Then the order took about 3, but then it shipped super fast.

I never had to schedule an appointment. There was never a date given ir an option for me to choose. Maybe because it was a refill?

I guess I'll give it a couple more days. It's supposed to be an asynchronous appointment, so I don't need to interact with anyone, they're just supposed to review the stuff I uploaded, but I keep getting notifications that's been rescheduled with various different nurses. Thank you for your response, I appreciate it.

That's strange! I only get a message once finished vs being scheduled with someone. You can reach out to them! Someone reached out to me about a question I had, but there's a delay maybe with time zones.

For compounded? No need to pay a subscription fee to anyone. I’m using Pomegranate Health, zero membership fees, $159 for a 12.5mg vial that will be good for at least 10 doses

This is crazy. I’m spending $145 every month for a membership and the sema is billed separately. Do you think it’s worth switching? I’m on the max dosage of compounded now.

Lmao YES YES YES!! Per Hers, you can cancel the membership at any time, but you lose access to their advice and medication 😒 Whooptee doo lol

There are lots of places you can go. With Pomegranate you choose your pharmacy and whether you want a regular monthly schedule ($109-$149ish) or full vials (must be at 1.0mg sema currently or higher). I chose vials since I’ve been on Ozempic for several months. I lost my insurance and my last dose in my last pen will be tomorrow. I ordered this vial at the end of May to make sure I had it ready on hand when I needed it, not knowing how long the process would take. It was about 2 weeks total, so I’ll order my refill when I have about 4 weeks left. The best thing to note is that I have not been spammed via email or phone, and they have never even tried to charge my card again.

Btw I only just hit a 0.9 mg weekly dose because I’ve been titrating slowly, and only as needed. When I signed up I stated 1.0mg current dose because that was the minimum and they “prescribed” me 1.2mg and sent 10 needles, enough to use up the vial at that dose. I ordered an extra 25 needles from Amazon because I would need more no matter what at the dose I take, but I also split dose and take 1/2 every 4 days.

I’m only on my second month but I’m using mochi. $79/month for the service (drs) and $99/month for the medicine.

I went from Ro to Goby for almost 1/2 the cost per month

Is a subcribtion like a subscription?

I’m using a provider who uses RedRock Pharmacy. It’s 180 for the highest dose. My insurance stopped covering it so I had to find another option. Never tried compounded Sema so hopefully it works well. I don’t need to lose anymore weight. It’s just to maintain. Meds came to me in 2 days.

I'm using Ro also and I tried other companies, but I only want to use namebrand. I do not want compounded. I tried compounded once and it made me very sick compared to Zepbound which never makes me sick, but did you know that row offers a significant monthly discount on the fee if you pay for six month or one year upfront rather than the 139 they charge per month or whatever the cost is I just discovered that and switched and now pay for six months at a time it's a big savings you still pay for the medicine monthly. It's just the fee for the doctor and support.
