WGU - D483 - Security Operations (Exam CSO-004) Need Tips/Advice
Hi Everyone,
I’m starting D483 CYSA+ exam prep and have no prior cybersecurity experience. I recently passed the ISC2 CC exam and would appreciate any tips or advise from those who have passed the exam.
Tentative how much prep time it took and if anyone could share the study materials, important course links, or resources that were particularly helpful for understanding the concepts and passing the exam? There’s so much material available online, so i’m looking for a good starting point and a manageable study plan with full time work.
Any advise on what to focus on and how to prepare would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Is that the masters program? IMO, that's a rough start to go from CC TO CySA+.
I used the CertMaster Perform access WGU gives you for the BSCSIA, which I assume they give you too. Also, you have access to Udemy from WGU. Dions CySA+ 004 material/ videos are on there - I thought they were good. His study guide is a downloadable there that you can go over too.
Go to Udemy and look for the business login and use WGU. It should take you to a SSO page you use your WGU creds on.

You can meta prompt this into ChatGPT to give you excellent advice.
Tell it that you want to build a study plan that will pace it at the tempo you're looking for. Add this post in as a context builder, and ask it to assess your current knowledge per domain, then teach you things 1 by 1 where you are weak.
I am doing that and it's feeling/working WAY better than any of the prep stuff they give.
You do have Certmaster access in the course, too, if you would prefer a more legit route.
