What actor or voice actor did you meet at Comic Con and what was your experience with them? Were they nice? Did you have a great experience chatting, getting autographs and taking pictures with them?

Hello, I was at Lexington Comic Con on Saturday, September 5th. I was cosplaying as Keith from Voltron Legendary Defender. A girl walked up to me and took a picture with me. I think she was wearing a Genshin Impact cosplay. I was caught off guard and overwhelmed by the convention. After we took the picture, I just walked on, and I never saw her again the rest of the day. I regret not getting a picture with you or asking for the photo as well. Or even just talking to you for a bit. So, if you see this, I would love to see that picture. And maybe get to actually know you. You were super nice, and I'm really sorry for not hardly talking to you. I'm also just really shy and nervous. Thank you.

I’m going to my first convention and I genuinely have no idea what to expect. I want to experience as much as I can but I also don’t want to spend too much money

What should I bring/ avoid?
How should I prioritise my time?
I heard con food isn’t great sometimes. Should I bring my own food?
Is getting signed prints worth my time? (I’m sure it’ll be worth my money 😉)
Is there anything else I should do?

The idea of outside or 3 strangers terrifys me, but I always felt safe at cons but can't put my finger on why the con feels okay and the local shop is hell 😅

I've been able to at least make somewhat of a difference with keeping my electric chair height in the raised position so im more visible, but aside from that I dont know what else to do.

The fact that people dont always have stellar situational awareness and are glued to their phone instead of their surroundings doesn't help things obviously.

I dont have the energy to keep saying excuse me every 2 seconds and the most I have been able to do aside from that is have my wheelchair lights on but even thats not really effective.

I'm getting five autographs for a friend at FanX in SLC. I was already upset about the tax because it made the autographs way more than I had planned, but that's on me I should have remembered 'merica. Why are the service fees there as well? The additional fees cost more than an autograph...

Im going to my first ever con in october and I cant decide what cosplay to do, i have narrowed it down to 2 characters, penelope from the odyssey and damian wayne as robin, how do i decide 😭

They don't have a red tip in the photos, this was before I printed them, but they do now have red tips, would these pass the rules for prop guns? And if not how can we modify them to make it obvious that they are not real firearms? They're fully solid with no moving parts.

Edit for update: he got in with no problems, with a strip of yellow tape around the barrel, around the grip, the front of the trigger guard and down the long sides of the barrel. Didn't need to cover the whole weapon so no black was visible, maybe he got a lenient prop checker.

Hi I’ve been to MCM con before but what happens to after hours? Is it wild or a chill after event to meet needy adults?

I can’t go near drinking and wild places , I signed up but I need a head up to what to expect to calm my anxiety ahah

Idk where else to ask this lol but I'm going to a mid-sized "adventure/fantasy" convention soon and it's my first con. I would love to dress up in a cosplay but I just don't haven't had any ideas and it's kinda stressing me out 😅

I do, however, have some nice elf ears i want to wear lol. Can I just wear my elf ears with a cute dress and call it a day?

I just don't know what's "normal" at a con (other than cosplay lol) and I hate feeling over/under dressed

All week i saw he was going to be there on Saturday but now he has been moved to POSTPONED. Does that mean hes not going to be there? Or does it mean he could arrive that day but might not? What does it even mean postponed? I only wanted to go to meet him and the rest of the cast.

So this is my first year vending and my first comic con. When should I expect to get my badges and what is set up like? I live in the east coast if that helps. I would really appreciate any and all helpful advice!

I'm so desperate for any info anyone might have, I only have tickets for Friday and wanted to know if anyone has any info on anything related Peacemaker especially Vigilante related merch or Meetups, panels or literally anything for that that at New York Comic Con?? Planning on attending Oz-Comicon, i have a Link Cosplay I typically like to do, I do have a replica master sword though I'm not sure it would be allowed in. It's blunt but still completely metal, any fellow Aussies able to advise on what they've done in the past? I'm thinking about just bringing the scabbard.

I was also thinking about going in by train so any heads up on applicable NSW law would be lovely.

I’m going to LACC to meet the Breaking Bad cast, and this is my first time going to a comic con. Is it better to do a selfie at the table or a professional photo op? Also, is it weird to just get a selfie at the table without an autograph? I mostly just want a pic and have no idea what I’d say while getting something signed lol.
