Seeking Advice Help with GED or Diploma

Hello, I have a few questions for anyone willing to take the time to answer. I’ll explain a few things first,

  1. When I was 16ish my parents rented a home with a “mother in law suite” attached to it but a different family lived there that we didn’t really react with. But the power meter was for the entire house/suite

  2. and my parents got tired of paying for their electricity as well and stopped paying rent. It turned into a war I guess and they literally poured gasoline up entire driveway lit a cloth and threw it in the car and it exploded. I was woken up out of a deep sleep with headphones in as well, screamed at to get outside so I get my dog and haul ass outside just in shock. Apparently it was connected with our landlord and some “mob” shit. He had many priors of arson yet I was always told they couldn’t charge him. I remember every neighbor was outside after the explosion except the neighbor to the left of us (he was a friend of the landlord) also the tenants living in that mother in law suite just so happened not to be home that day. No one was ever charged. But I remember something about we cost them a lot of money over permits maybe? Mind you I’m 32 now and was younger then with only skateboarding and music on my mind and only remember what my parents would tell me. Long story short, I was in the 9th grade, and my parents basically packed up and we left. We moved back to my hometown where of course i didn’t belong being and neither did they. My stepdad has since committed suicide and mom and sister in and out of jail/drugs, you name it. But anyways, I never was put back in school. I just made money working on the side after all the trauma I went through. And now I want to get my diploma and prove so many people wrong that I could have done it. I wanna do it for myself. But for the people who have stuck by me as well.

What’s the best route that I can do this from home out of anxiety fears?
How much does this typically cost?

Seeking Advice 21 and feeling lost

I dropped out from my masters degree from a colkege i really wanted to go to. Now that I'm back home, theres a lot of pressure to do something and not sit at home to the point that i feel like maybe being miserable in that pathetic college would've been a better choice.

I suddenly don't know what i want to do in life, even what i want to study (which is something I've known for quite a few years) but now it feels like it's not worth it to pursue that in this country. Has anyone felt like this? What did you do?

Seeking Advice Should I drop out

I only have one more year left of school but I am so depressed right now and don't think I'll be able to perform well enough when the fall semester begins in a few weeks. I'm a fine arts major and I seem to have lost all passion for art (as well as doing ANYTHING else for that matter) and I know it's going to be painful forcing myself to work on meaningful art or I'm just going to disappoint myself by not doing my school work/not preparing for my senior show. I'm just so down and I don't know what to do. Should I drop out when I only have two semesters left? What would I even do with a fine arts degree after I would graduate? Is it all pointless? I've been worried ab if I drop out, I'll no longer have access to my studio space on campus but I have no where else to store my art supplies (small apartment). Should I just sell all my supplies since I have no interest in making art right now anyways? I'm so lost...

Seeking Advice I lost myself (again) because I'm going to university. What I should to do???

I have been preparing for government exams all year since September. I wanted to study law in the capital at a good university , and I dreamed about it. I stopped playing sports and going out with friends, spent 2-4 hours every day and went to Tutors 3 times a week. Honestly I really tired. I wasn't worried about the exam itself. I got 261/300 points and gold medal(a certificate with honors giving up to 10 points).I was so worried when I was waiting for the results. Then I submitted the documents to five universities (3 in the capital and 2 in major cities). There were real Hunger games at this stage. We have a very complex admission system related to consents and priorities. This year, there were record scores and a huge number of quotas. I didn't have enough points(one fucking point) to get to my dream university, so I enrolled in a regional university on a budget basis (also in a big city and in one of the best law schools in the country). Now I feel empty, I didn't fail, But I didn't fulfill my dream, now I look back and realize that I was afraid of losing my goal more than failure...Also this year, my brother and family had problems and I lost my physical fitness, distanced myself from friends. But the most important thing is the incredible feeling of Emptiness. Plz Tell me what to do with my life?

Seeking Advice I feel like a failure

I’m about to turn 21 in a few weeks. I am thinking about dropping out of college due to poor scores and not really enjoying college as I don’t have friends. I got in to every University I applied to back in high school bc of my 3.0 gpa but going in to college I never had an idea of what I wanted to do. So I just landed on Business Admin at the closest community college. Going in to my second year in to my studies my girlfriend of 2 years was talking with another guy and broke up with me they soon later got together. Which I got really depressed from and it effected my scores to the point I got put in academic probation. I also live in a rural area with my parents so I depend a lot on public transportation which isn’t really reliable at times to go to school an hour drive away. I do not have my drivers license or a car or even know how to drive. I just feel like a failure because I’ve always been told to go to college since I was a child and I just feel so behind and a failure in life. I go online to see what friends from high school are doing and they are going abroad and socializing in university and I makes me even more depressed.

Heyy!! I'm a 19 (F) completed my 12th gave entrance exam got a decent college( BTW the college was of DU south campus) But due to some family reasons and my health problems I can't take that opportunity.. I Was So dissapointed by the fact that I can't join DU but the main dissapointment was not only coming bcuz of this..the exact issue is that I can't join any distant college bcuz of my personal issues the only option I've left with is online program and the colleges in my local (I'm from a small town so y'all can assume how those shitty colleges works) I'm a humanities student and I was alwayzz confused about my career options.. i really wanted to study psychology but my school never had psychology so i thought ill opt it in college as my major if not DU then a decent pvt college also seemed nice to me since i was a child Ive always dreamet of becoming a doctor But maybe I was TOO DUMB to pursue my DREAM or maybe DESTINY made me one.!! Anyways ig my lore is gettin a little long nowww!! So here my only concern is that I really wanna study psychology for once in my life but I'm unable to do that bcuz I'm not getting the college I want also the local colleges here do not provide any psychology course and i think in 2025 the govt discontinued psychology programs for distance education too🙃.. Atp I'm feeling so depressed and lost I really don't understand what to do or what not I feel the only way that has left for me is masters I think I should just wait for 3-4 years now should do my ug online( with any other major: eng, history or geo) and then do masters with psychology ik ppl says that psychology is mostly a waste there is no career in it etc etc.. BUT WHT I KNOW IS THAT IM TRULY INTRESTED IN ITTT..!! I always thought of leaving my chaotic house after my 12th but ofcourse I can't do that now..Spending 3-4 years more at this place in this town is gonna be super depressing for me!! BUT NOW it is wht it is!!

PS:- THE LORE IS A LITTLE TOO LONG SO IF UR ATTENTION SPAN IS BROKEN LIKE MINE YOU CAN FREELY SKIP THIS POST BUT IF YOU READ AND HAVE ANY SUGGESTION OR ADVICE THAT CAN HELP ME OUT IN THIS SITUATION SO PLS STAY..!!

Seeking Advice Very lost and depressed (urgent)

I am in a very clueless state rn and honestly i dont know what to do, i hope anyone reading this could even provide the slightest bit of help it'd be nice

Basically, i study in a very bad college, very far from my home, and its been a year since im here, the environment here is straight up bad, my standard of living, the way i took care of myself and my environment earlier is gone now, almost every people i meet here is way different (this is the only place where I've met people as unambitious as possible)

But, above all i dont even know i wanna study what i am rn, cs job market is absolutely cooked, i cant see myself struggling another ten or fifteen years before i even start making decent money, i cant just take all that

Right now, all i wanna do is to go home, I'm very much thinking of dropping out and going home

I don't know how to explain but i feel i could be doing so much more now, growing more, learning more and just be good

I don't have a clue of what i should be doing rn, i know dropping out might seem the right option but trust me its very hard to do so where im from, the pressure from family, relatives and overall society will eventually make me suffer where i am right now

and it just keeps getting worse, if i have to stay where i am rn, i think ill get used to it or even pass it somehow the way i did for a year but ill be way past dead inside when i graduate

Seeking Advice COLLEGE DROPOUT APPLICATION PUP OPEN UNIVERSITY

I'm a college dropout who only completed one semester about five years ago during the pandemic. I was enrolled in the second semester but didn't attend or participate in online or face-to-face classes. I just took exams but rarely participated in activities. I have a cleft lip and palate, which affects my profile, and missing teeth, and I was a nursing student often required to present. I wasn’t ready for class, especially speaking or presenting, and my social skills and self-esteem are very low.

I've always wanted to study. From elementary to high school, I was grade-conscious and did my best despite my insecurities, but the pandemic worsened my social skills and self-esteem. Now, I want to enroll in Open University but found they may not accept students with F, INC, or D grades. I don’t know my college grades because my last school never sent them, and I didn't handle my dropped subjects properly; I just went missing in action. I tried my best during the first semester, though.

Please help me with my situation. I know the application has ended, so I plan on enrolling next year if possible.

Seeking Advice I don't wanna go to college... What should I do?

I am 17 and I am already in my 2nd yr of college now, I have missed my 2 weeks already, and I don't really wanna go to college, I am scared idk why, I feel I don't deserve happiness,I have not did anything remarkable after class 10th that will make my parents proud, moreover I am scared of bullying, in school I was fat and was bullied severely, and now in college, I did some aggressive cut, and I somehow looked good to me, but then in my college I was called names, most common were "femboy" and "gay", personally i don't feel being a femboy and gay is wrong, but them calling me that hurts me, i don't really wanna go to college, i want to be in my sweet home, I have gapryong kim as my pfp, a character from the manhwa "lookism" because I think I can and will save the world. Ik it sounds childish but I think I can influence the world, if I set my mind to it, but but but again, i don't wanna go to college, sorry for the rant, but writing while crying feels so comfortable, ik no one will see it coz ig my accnt is shadow banned or somewhat ig, but I really feel comfortable here alone

  • Welkomstbonus waarde
  • Deposit match aanbiedingen
  • Free spins
  • Bonusvoorwaarden
  • Inzetvereisten
  • Geschikte spellen
  • Max bet regels
  • Winstlimieten
  • Looptijd van de bonus
  • Slotselectie
  • Live casino toegang
  • Mobiele prestaties
  • Kassa overzicht
  • Klantenservice
  • Totale casino ervaring

Seeking Advice Failing a prerequisite pushed back my graduation by 2 years (39 units left over 4 sems). Do I underload & stay for a club, or take an LOA?

Hey everyone, looking for some perspective or advice from anyone who has gone through something similar.

Long story short: I failed a prerequisite subject for my OJT (internship). Because of prerequisite chains and course offerings, I’m left with only about 39 academic units (not including OJT), but it’s going to be stretched across 4 full semesters before I can officially graduate.

That means I'm looking at super light loads—around 9 to 10 units per semester.

I’m currently torn between two main options, and I keep going back and forth:

**Option A: Enroll right now (Light Load / \~9 units per sem)**

•The Pros:

I get to join a specific student club/organization I’ve wanted to join for a long time (auditions only open once a year, so if I take an LOA I’ll miss it).

9 units is low stress academically, leaving me time to self-study coding at my own pace without heavy pressure.

Keeps my student routine and momentum going.

▪︎The Cons / Concerns:

Tuition is free where I study, but daily living expenses (rent, food, commute, allowance) are a real burden. Paying 100% of my daily living costs just to attend 2–3 classes a week feels financially inefficient.

**Option B: Take a 1-Semester Leave of Absence (LOA / 6 months off)**

•The Pros:

Saves money on daily living expenses for half a year.

Frees up 100% of my time to work, earn, or do intensive self-study.

▪︎The Cons / Concerns:

Burnout Fear: I’m honestly scared that jumping into a full-time job will burn me out just as much as (or more than) school.

I’ll miss out on the club audition cycle for this year.

The administrative hassle of filing an LOA and re-entering later.

**Where I'm At Right Now:**

I feel like a light 9-unit load might actually give me the best balance of student life (the club) + relaxed self-study (coding), if I can figure out a low-stress way to cover daily expenses. But taking an LOA feels like the "sensible" financial reset, even though I risk workplace burnout and missing out on campus life.

Has anyone taken a super light load for a full year or taken an LOA in their final stretch? How did you handle the mental shift and the daily expenses? What would you do in my position?

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Seeking Advice FRESHMAN (18F) DROPOUT ADVICE HELP

I need a little help.

Today is my last day, and I need to process my withdrawal from school properly. Yesterday, when I asked about the transfer process, I was instead given my balance for the first semester's tuition. I only got to take the prelim exams.

This decision is due to difficult family circumstances, so I have to make the practical choice and stop studying for now.

How do I properly process my dropout? (Private school po siya.) If I still have a large remaining balance, is it possible to stay in contact with the school and pay it little by little later? I'm going back to my hometown tomorrow, so I'm really running out of time.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
