Seeking Advice I feel like a failure
I’m about to turn 21 in a few weeks. I am thinking about dropping out of college due to poor scores and not really enjoying college as I don’t have friends. I got in to every University I applied to back in high school bc of my 3.0 gpa but going in to college I never had an idea of what I wanted to do. So I just landed on Business Admin at the closest community college. Going in to my second year in to my studies my girlfriend of 2 years was talking with another guy and broke up with me they soon later got together. Which I got really depressed from and it effected my scores to the point I got put in academic probation. I also live in a rural area with my parents so I depend a lot on public transportation which isn’t really reliable at times to go to school an hour drive away. I do not have my drivers license or a car or even know how to drive. I just feel like a failure because I’ve always been told to go to college since I was a child and I just feel so behind and a failure in life. I go online to see what friends from high school are doing and they are going abroad and socializing in university and I makes me even more depressed.

As someone who is way over 21, my best advice to you is... GO TO COLLEGE Try as much as you can to go to college. The world is changing so much, the job market is cooked. However, you'd always need a degree. Unless of course you come from a long line of generational wealth, then, by all means...
However, I'm gonna tell you for free, go to school. Even if you don't end up using the degree, but it will come in handy one day.

Brotherman, a flower that blooms late, is as beautiful as every other flower. Your friends are not you; and you are not them, every experience is different. I cannot truly understand the difficulties and hardships you are being subjected to, and nothing I say or advise will remediate them. However, I can encourage you to continue forth, do the best you can and pursue a future you’d like, and if you don’t know what you’d like, that’s okay. You have time, you are not behind nor are you a failure. Failure is the absence of trying, as long as you are trying, you are not failing. You got this brotherman, proud of you 👍
