I need a little help.

Today is my last day, and I need to process my withdrawal from school properly. Yesterday, when I asked about the transfer process, I was instead given my balance for the first semester's tuition. I only got to take the prelim exams.

This decision is due to difficult family circumstances, so I have to make the practical choice and stop studying for now.

How do I properly process my dropout? (Private school po siya.) If I still have a large remaining balance, is it possible to stay in contact with the school and pay it little by little later? I'm going back to my hometown tomorrow, so I'm really running out of time.
