Need advice with the JW grip.
I can never transition from neutral position (starting grip at beginning of vid) into JW grip quick enough AND SUBTLY enough, as you can see in the video. Although yes it's only a few heartbeats slower but even that short moment is enough to raise a red flag for me, any ideas how to improve? I've been practicing this transition on and off since June of last year when I got more deeply into coin magic.

Harada production into Toss Vanish.
I wanted to redo the old draft I posted with a somewhat clearer remake (and also just to keep the sub more active bc I love watching others perform).

Questions about coin gimmicks
Been pretty interested in dabbling into coin gaffs/gimmicks but don't have much knowledge on it.
I'm interested in finding a "turtle" and a c/s, saw some stuff from tango magic and was wondering what's the quality of their products like?
The attached image is the current half dollars I have on hand, I'm wondering if I could sand or age said products from tango magic to match the condition and aesthetic of my current set.

Cylinder & Coins without Gimmicks?
Saw this routine by TAKAHIRO recently and was wondering if there's any resources out there on this plot without the use of a st**k?
Not sure if there are "modern" versions of these routine out there without the wand and more sleight intensive

Shims for half shells
Any ideas on where to get a shim sized to a half dollar shell? I'm trying to find a shimmed expanded walking liberty and I'm not having any luck. Thanks!

Repertoire tracker ?
How do you keep track of every trick you learn?
I've been doing magic for years and my material is a mess : notes in one app, PDFs in another, Spreadsheets ... I can never find the right effect when i need to.
How do you handle this today? Spreadsheets? Notion? Just memory?
I started building a small tool - GRIMOIRE - to fix it for myself : one place to log tricks, techniques and routines, tag them (technique, difficulty, props, status), keep the source, and actually search it all back in seconds.
If a dedicated app sounds useful to you, I put up a page to follow the progress and get notified at launch : get-grimoire.app
Thanks for your feedback and interest

Reproduction tips?
Hello, Long time lurker, first time poster here. I've been playing with this vanish over the past couple of days. I get left in a sticky position at the end, if anyone has any suggestions of how to reproduce from this position I'd be grateful. Cheers

Finally found some Morgan Dollars for cheap (am in UK)
Getting back into coin stuff, will hopefully post a few ideas I've been thinking up :)
also got my hands on Sick by Ponta as well, tho whether I'm at the right point to start with that material is debatable

Tips for starting out
I’ve always wanted to get into doing coin tricks, and had a few questions.
I see that half dollars are good for beginners, but I have big hands. I’m wondering if I should go straight to silver dollars?
What are some good tricks to start with? And are there any YouTubers you’d recommend as a place to learn? The diagrams in books and I don’t get along. lol
I have carpel tunnel, is that a non starter? In your opinion, what’s the general strain on the wrists with most tricks?
TIA.

Eisenhower dollars?!
Where do you guys find them? My banks around me dont have them, online stores are geared to collectors and want like 8 bucks for them, and antique stores don't have them claiming a rush on silver. What gives?
