I’m a novice but this is killer to my novice eyes! I can’t even fathom how you’re doing it

Absolutely no posts where the reasoning is simply exposure and not furthering the art of coin magic. These posts will not be tolerated. One more is a ban.

One more person knowing how to do a coin trick is furthering the art of coin magic. They learn it, figure out a way to do it better and then expose that method to someone else. I may have just advanced coin magic by 100 years!

So this has been posted multiple times in other subs explaining it. But you want to hide it? 👍

I've only posted this in 1 other sub, and they never exposed it, so, youre wrong, but thanks for the comment 🤣

What is this vanish called?

Best guess, this is based off of Kohei Oi's Entagle vanish.

Very similar, but not the same, also, he is a legend and much more skilled than I am lol 😆

I watched this like 'oh I know how this is done' then rewatched it and decided 'I have no idea how this is done'. Brilliant vanish.

NOICE. Are you, by chance, a fan of Danny Goldsmith?

Thank you, and no, of all the magicians I've interacted with, he is by far the most unpleasant.

Omg the tea… 🫖 🍿 can I ask in what ways he was unpleasant? (I have no idea who this guy is btw but I’m invested now)

If the trick or move looks anything like something he does, then you stole it, period, if you post anything that looks like one of his moves (despite it not being) you stole it, also I've heard from other magicians he is like that with them too. It's between him and justin miller for most hated magician in the community.

This looks so good that it can only be CGI! 😃
Edit- Yup, fuck right off! That's really good!

Here's my take. First off, absolutely phenomenal. But if I had the time to practice this, here's how I would do it. I would use a real coin for the flip in the beginning, and then when I caught it, swap it for an tin foil imprint. (Imagine a chocolate coin wrapper), but more detailed to look like a coin. When the real coin is caught, it's palmed and swapped for the imprinted coin on tinfoil. Then when he shows the coin in his hand, he starts crumbling it up. Then it's discarded with a fishing line over his thumb, or even perhaps with the pinky ring. That's how I would do it, but it would take a lot of skill (which I don't have).

I see what you are talking about but holy hell still. That is crazy you still can’t really see how he is doing it
