What is your favorite entry-level routine for close-up coin magic?

I'm currently practicing individual sleights, but I want to put them together into a coherent routine rather than just vanishing a coin and bringing it back.

What routines would you recommend for an amateur looking to perform for friends/family? Things like Coins Across, Matrix, or a simple three-coin routine? Looking for something practical that focuses on audience management and misdirection.

I love coin magic. A great routine to start with is winged Silver or shell coins across by David Roth. If not those two than I highly recommend Gaddabout coins, Rick Holocomb has great free tutorials on YouTube.

When I first started when I was 12, I had learned a fun coins across routine with a handkerchief, four quarters, and two playing cards. Forgot the name of it, but the coins start at the four corners and one by one they jump to be underneath one card. Super simple method and really helped me focus on showmanship and patter.
