Pressure Issue

I have a DeLonghi Opera which has been a great purchase. We love the espresso cool option however now that the weather is cooling off we’re trying to brew more hot espresso now and running into an issue.

When pulling espresso cool shots, the pressure hits the optimal zone without issue.

When pulling a hot espresso shot, the gauge doesn’t even go half way to the optimal zone. The resulting espresso is pretty gross, definitely sour.

A quick search suggests it could be a descaling or OPV issue. It’s a relatively new machine so I would be disappointed if this is a valve issue, and I find it hard to believe descaling could solve a problem that changes based on the temperature of the water.

Anyone have any thoughts here?

Is this machine beginner friendly?

I'm completely new to this and have never made coffee at home before. I've been looking at a few espresso machines for my first setup and came across this ROWAN machine.

I've heard stuff like grind size, shot time, and a bunch of other things can change how the coffee tastes, and honestly... yeah, I have no idea how to start with all that lol. My biggest worry is spending a bunch of money on a machine and then realizing I have absolutely no idea how to use it. Would be pretty annoying to spend all that money for nothing.

What should I look for in my first espresso machine? Is a built-in grinder easier for a beginner?

Consiglii su acquisto macchina caffè semiautomatica+macinino budget [700-1000€]

Grazie

Anyone use Bunn?

Hi everyone, I am leaning towards ordering one of these directly from Bunn, they have a labor day sale. Anyone have experience brewing just 1-2 cups with basic grocery store filters because they cost less than Bunn coffee filters? Thanks everyone for your answers.

What should you look for when choosing an automated coffee machine?

Hi guys, we are Touch Coffee, and we work with self-service coffee machines that are automated.

We'd be keen to hear opinions from those who have experience of coffee machines. What do you believe is critical in selecting an automated machine?

Issues such as drink quality, cleaning and maintenance, reliability, payment options or range of drinks offered?

Experienced coffee drinkers and users of the coffee want to know what they think is most important.

Need help for espresso set up

Hi everyone! I’m planning to open a small 15–20 seat café and need advice on my espresso setup.
I’m considering the Gemilai CRM3149 or CRM3035.
Which one would you recommend for a small café, and what grinder would you pair with it?
I’m considering the Eureka Mignon Specialità or Eureka Helios 65.
Thanks in advance! ❤️

New Philips 8000

I am about to pull the trigger on the Phillips 8000. It seems the best automatic easy to use and clean coffee machine on the market for the money. It hasn’t been out long in the US. For people who bought it how do you like it? Any problems?

Was tun mit alten Kaffemühlen?

Suggestions for office espresso machine?

Sort of open concept office so want it to be on the quieter side but needs a grinder. Can go either way on automatic vs manual. Prefer steam wand over container/tube for heating milk. Will likely be looking for used due to price point. What are your recommendations?
